The word cyclic means recurring in cycles. A cyclic cyst forms cyclically. The cyst grows and shrinks at regular or irregular intervals. Same way menstruation occurs in cycle.

Dr is a cyclic cyst normal? Does it affect conception?

you are welcome. blood pregnancy tests detect hcg (pregnancy hormone) earlier than urine tests. if you are very curious just go and do a blood pregnancy test.

Hello Dr, my last period was October 12th and my cycle is usually 27 days. So my next period ought to be Nov 8. But i've been having consistent menstrual cramp since last week Friday. This morning i woke up with a slight change in my body temperature and feverish feeling.
My favourite meal, bread and oats had a bitter taste in my mouth. Had to eat cereal instead.
I'm just super worried. Still feeling the cramps.

sounds like you are pregnant. why don't you do a blood pregnancy test to confirm,or you wait till you are due and take a home pregnancy test. That's if you know you have been sexually active. I am not a doctor,just sharing what I think.

I did hsg in June got patent tubes only for the procedure to flare up serious infection, I was admitted for one week.
The scan then showed large mass in the pouch of Douglas and even fluid in my tubes.
My last scan in August only showed the mass in the pouch of Douglas has reduced greatly, have been taking Chymoral ,vitamin c and cataflam.
The mass has obviously reduced but I still feel it when am pressed.
Please, has anyone had this condition and if yes how was it treated completely.
Someone said I should get Kedi health care product.
She is a Nurse and said It can only go completely with herbal product.

Did you do hvs test to ascertain there was no infection before going for the HSG? it's important to be infection free before going for HSG. if you go with an infection you will only make it worse ,the dye used will only move the infection into you uterus and fallopian tubes

Hmmmmm.... People can be very Funny, One of DH's friends came visiting dis weekend after he finish swallowing d plate of poundo yam i managed to prepare for him.. . D next thing he did after i excused myself was asking DH what we are still waiting for nd y d delay and maybe DH has ever gotten someone else pregnant in d past. .. Dont really know what he was insinuating but am very sure he wont try dat with my family again cos i dont even remember all d things i said to him. .... @legendsmama! Nd all....What I did differently; I did hsg on cycle day 10, result was patent tubes. B4 nw when hubby and I bed;d stuff comes back out. It gt rily bad... even if I lie down 4 3hrs,d moment I get up....it comes out, smtimes even wen i'm lying down with pillows beneath me. this cycle was rily bad,so against my normal nature;i went 2 these women who sell herbs. She gave me a soap and to my surprise after 2days of using it,d thing stopped. Now I can't tell if it's d soap or d hsg...but dats wat I did differently. Sorry 4 d long epistle.....

Am sorry, but why are you scared of telling him you saw it. You are the one who should be angry for his keeping the knowledge to himself and blaming you. You need to stop walking on eggshells over this issue and tackle it head on. if he wants to be angry let him. it's only for a little while. Then you can both tackle the situation.

I am not a doctor. But I believe every woman is different. some have symptoms right away,others don't. I believe it will kick in soon. But if you are worried,do an ultrasound, you are 6weeks pregnant.

Dreading d naming seriously because of family pulling me to d sides and asking how far and giving same advise and annoying recommendations.

Hydrotubation is a diagnostic procedure and shouldn't be carried during pregnancy.Being pregnant is enough in some degree to show patency of the tubes.
Hydrotubation isn't being known to cause any harm to an unsuspected pregnancy.Inshort before this procedure,a check for pregnancy or anything of such similar descriptions should be well checked for.
