It may be fibroid. that was how I discovered mine. I noticed a movable hard lump,also when I lay on my tummy, I kept feeling I was lying on something hard,I would raise myself from the bed to feel if I was lying on something, but there was nothing on the bed. i went for a scan and it was confirmed. it must have been the pendunculated subserous one I was feeling. cos I could move it around. you should have it checked out,do an abdominal and pelvic scan.

I can't say you will have a painless HSG but I did mine at St Bridget Xray Center, 4 ,Iyobosa Street, Benin, Edo, Nigeria. When you get to New Benin Market, just ask for directions. I did mine early last year for either 15,000 or 20,000. They wasted our time but they were quite professional (when the process began) and organised. The result was collected the following day. Go early in the morning.

Hubby did SFA at Union Diagnostic @ Sapele Rd. Quite efficient and price decent. I don't recall him paying more than 2500 but please call to confirm their latest price. Result out in a day or so. Address at :

my experience with saint Bridget was not too good. they waisted so much time,and it was really painful. I was not given pain reliever before the procedure ,they only prescribed one after. I was spotting for two weeks till I got my period. my gynea said they must have injured me. I payed 20k for it that was last year April

Honestly,I tried the garlic and ginger remedy for AF pains and it worked,I wish I had discovered it a long time ago.As for the brown blood,I notice it too on the first day of AF,but the doctor said I shouldn't worry my head over it when I thought it could be an infection.still not convinced though,....mamas please share your thought and experiences

I have had light spotting twice two days before AF,the first time I was happy since I have never experienced it before, thought it was implantation bleeding, only for AF to show face. it's funny how the body plays tricks.

Firstly, I would like you to do a mid cycle hormonal profile.

This might sound cliche, but try to relax and not ponder over it. You've been trying for less than a year, so you cant be labelled as subfertile.

I told someone earlier about FECUNDABILITY. It varies from person to person.

The signs you read and hear about apply to the larger population but there are always a small percentage that defiles such generics. So I wouldn't place emphasis on that. For all you know they might just be delayed.

In the mean time, lets try simpler manoeuvres. If you make use of 'feminine wash' stop it. Adopt sexual positions that support deep penetration and after orgasm adopt a supine position with your butt propped -up(gravity).

That been said, I'd review you with the hormonal profile.

How long have you been married? Have you ever been pregnant? How old are you? What tests have you done? What drugs/interventions have been instituted? What did your last doctor recommend?

Why it hasn't happened yet is the bane of the problem and we'll get there, but there's a methodological approach. So regale me your story.

Thanks Dr,I am 29.. l have run a couple of tests. HSG,I had patent tubes,also did scan which revealed fibroids. had surgery last year to get them removed, also had hydrotubation about two months after surgery. ,I had an ultrasound scan again just to make sure all is well and I was told I have a healthy fibroid free womb. my Dh's SA was fine,the count and motility. I started TTC in Dec, I have had three cycles and no luck. I know I ovulate because I get ovulation pains during mid cycle and I also confirmed it with opk. I just wonder what's taking so long. I am in my 4th cycle trying, currently in my 2ww,AF is due in about two days and I am not seeing any of the usual pregnancy signs one hears or reads about, so I feel I am out this cycle.

TTC is not easy at all especially when you and DH have been satified ok . It's been 4 months post myomectomy, and I have tried twice, AF still shows. Very depressing.

But I am trusting God that this year will not pass me by. my BFp will come before my second wedding anniversary, In Jesus' name.

Back to peeping prayer and fasting mode.

The symptoms include light menstrual flow, and sometimes, pelvic pain. And yes, it can diagnosed by pelvic ultrasound, HSG, and hysteroscopy. Hysteroscopy gives a clearer insight.

hapiness44: normal face mask isn't really sufficient. Some examples: N95, N99, N100, R95, R99, R100 etc. Google TB mask CDC.gov for more choices. I assume you are still undergoing treatment? Get tested at 8 weeks of treatment and after complete treatment (9months approximately). For resolution of active TB, your chest xray and sputum culture should be negative. Your PPD skin test will always be positive for having being exposed to TB.

cool83: If you are normal healthy person with no genetic immune deficient issues, then immune system can be improved by eating healthy balanced diet, managing or preventing certain medical conditions such as diabetes or HIV. And, also exercise.

cionon: studies show hydrotubation can be beneficial, but there is no guidelines or specifications as to when or when not to get it. I imagine it will be ok at day 26. I am not expert or gyn, so do consult with women's health professional. Happy TTC.

Dr the size of the cyst is 31mm. I had some pain on the left side. but it's gone now. this is the first time I am having an ultrasound done and the report shows a cyst. Doctor does it mean I have nothing to worry about?

@glo2,a colleague once advices me to always have home pregnancy test sticks at home to test before taking any malaria medicine. my cycle days fluctuate from 24 ,25,26,27,28 but mostly 24 or 25. I don't mind it being shorter,cos it gives me more cycles to TTC than someone with a longer one.
