walexlo78: Hello All, Its a semi silent reader updating the house. PPR early this morning following decision to stop my initial plan to request for GCMS note yesterday.
ITA - April 19 2017 Submission - July 17 AOR- July 17 MP - Few days post AOR PPR - Nov 8 LVO Alumni
The experience for me is to follow the simple rules of the application process then no LVO can STOP you cos you can defend every aspect of your application. I believe they had a lot to do on my application based on my profile, 3 PCCs for me and spouse cos we lived and worked out there, wife cumulatively stayed in US for about 175days but i did not get FBI PCC, Used mosalasi marriage certificate and wify's name change affidavit-i have always used that, travelled to some African countries for work so frequently that number of times and period spent cannot be determined so I only stated as many as I can and mentioned this in the loe, 2kids American and 1 Canadian sure they may want to know if I don chop medicaid, masters from UK school online, refused US visa once with spouse which we stated and finally itinerant like travel history. Despite all these profile details, no ADR came.
I struggled to write this much cos am not that e-vocal but did this with these details just to allay the fears of our people regarding VOs. The focus should be on tieing all ends of our application and not about how VO will treat.
I thank God and wish us all a happy ending. Thanks for telling your story, it helps.... and Congratulations!!! |

smslive2: MRSDA and db23... I wish you both speed and God's grace with LVO
Did any of you have previous UK or US Visa Refusals or Visa Stamped on your passports? Have you visited the US or UK before?
Just asking for statistical review. Thank you o @smslive2. Amen I lived in the UK for 7 years, moved back, got refused, gotten visa twice since then, and visited often. So I guess complex relationship with UK, or previous refusal, or cause I lived there, or all of the above... don't know the qualifier Visited both places... also 10 year travel history was just long. Hope that helps your statistics gathering |

ayodeji2017: Pls I'm still expecting answers from member of the house on 1 and 2 above. I've gotten the answer for question 3 from one of the pages on this thread .Thanks everyone. I can answer 1. They refer to work INSIDE Canada. There is still a section for work experience outside Canada. Keep scrolling thru the form/questionnaire 2. I really don't know. It's really based on their discretion. Hope this helped |

Feygbe: They are truly a family on that whatsapp group venting frustrations and celebrating each other. Lolll... It seems like it oh. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for someone to invite me/ tell me how to join this family. I've already entered LVO, might as well park and wait around the campfire with others in the same situation. It's all in God's Hands. This whole process is. We can only do our best and leave the rest. @Boss13, I can't let this your LVO doomsday message get me down. It is well with us. |

eddycross: Detailed letters like this are only done for current account holders. So since you have a current account (and a USD account which is also a current account - references and all are needed for USD account), then you can get the letter in the required format, or at least, an acceptable format.
Don't go and shout for them untop savings account only. I answered the questions asked based on my own personal experience. I don't understand this your statement about shouting out for banks re: savings... please don't put words in my mouth. |

Feygbe: Since you didn't submit Schedule A upfront, just wait till it is requested for, if it is requested for. I had 3 US visa denials, reason why I decided to submit upfront.
Contact them via email or call. I called as well as emailed. Asked specific questions: Has R10, criminality, eligibility and security been done? I thankfully didn't have NA2, I moved straight to IP2 from IP1.
What does your additional documents status say now? It currently says "The additional documents you provided are being reviewed"... but it's been changing between this and the no documents required etc |

threadstone: wrote the letter too but it didnt come through. I got a signatory confirmation letter for both accounts, letter of non indebtedness and bank statements as an alternative. Really? My branch first told me it wasn't possible. I told them that wasn't acceptable. After some back and forth, they did it eventually. Was even surprised they included all my active accounts. Maybe it's the person you speak to. I find that different people will give you different answers sometimes. I told them to check with their headoffice... They said they don't normally do that exact format, but they eventually did. |

Feygbe: Mine got transferred in IP1 My timeline seems similar to yours: AOR August 17th 2017. I was actually following yours on immitracker. My additional documents still currently says "The additional documents you provided are being reviewed"... but this statement keeps changing. I've been on NA2 since September. Last time I emailed them, about 2 weeks ago, they said my application was still at CIO. Question is: How do I raise a Schedule A (what is it for?), not sure if it's worth it at this point, but I was refused UK visa a few years ago? And do you think it's worth it contacting them again now? What did you request for to get your application info? |

...bringing cash into Canada, can I have about CAD9,000 on me and the same amount on my spouse and still not declare? Can't remember exactly where I read about principal applicant and spouse spliting their POFs. I need some clarity on the declaration part please.
Thanks in anticipation of your reponses. A family travelling together share one landing card, so it won't matter if you split it. So Just declare the money to be safe, you won't get penalised for it. |

Newmum0615: Dear People,
Please is there a validity period for employment reference letters? Can I start gathering them pending when I submit my EE application? Or do they frown at employment letters obtained over a period of time? Thanks Yes you can. I did mine before getting my EE profile to help me choose the most appropriate NOC. But this was after getting ECA and doing IELTS |

db23: Hello everyone.
Please I was just wondering/a little worried.
I submitted my eAPR while I was away, so my travel history is open-ended.
Do I need to raise a case or let them know that I have now returned back to Nigeria? or it won't matter? If I need to raise a case, how do I go about this?
Please help... I'm worried. Please now... Someone should answer. Do I need to update my travel history? Does it matter? |
