maclatunji: Not very intelligent, parts of Sharia have always been embedded in Nigeria's constitution. Go to court to prove that the limited introduction of Sharia in some Northern States is unconstitutional and what does that have to do with the questions I asked?

I have always said some people are nothing but OLIVER TWIST, always asking for this and that in the name of religion and yet you never see them apply it. By now, we should have seen so many amputees, so many stoned to death, etc. in compliance with the Sharia. Or are they saying that no one has been found wanting not with the level of corruption, infidelity, stealing, etc. Satan, by its very nature, likes to create problems all the time even when it is not necessary. Trouble is its second name and it's spirit lives in trouble makers! Have you seen satan, pls look for a troublesome person and make your conclusions.

What I am saying in effect is this: has sharia helped in curbing evil or evil acts amongst those that clamoured for it? What sense is there in Asari Dokubo's failure to condemn boko haram for bombing churches but described the plan by Mend to bomb mosques as inciting Religious War. I have read my bible and have not come accross a passage God said it is alright to marry more than one wife. I know the people once asked Jesus if it was ok to marry more than one wife refering to instances of such and Jesus told them those people did it because their hearts were hardened and disobedient and would not listen to the admonition of God's spokesman...if I am to paraphrase. So in your opinion christians just made it up? Oh please read the bible again and you will see why I used the word Ignorance.

Oh yes God is interested in the very minute things that concern us if we truly have a relationship with Him. If a pastor had a clean heart, in this case without GREED, and he asked God the right questions, God Himself would tell him the state of the couple's lives.

No no our pastors are easily swayed, in a very subtle way, especially by the financial benefits of being a pastor. Since the tithe is right the tither's actions must be right too, no need for verification and b a n g they fall. I have seen it happen over and over again. Pastors are human too! This is why I never write my name on any tithe envelope or even cheques because the pastor is tempted to be all over you with keen interest and falls for any suggestion you offer. The one who donates handsomely is considered one of the pillars of the church. No wonder God says His church where he dwells is not built with hands. Money is Temptation to a weak soul.
