"Chukwu" means God, so adding "ode" to God's name does not speak well for your relationship with God. You cannot say you dont know the meaning of "Chukwu". Think about it. You think you are hurting your preceived enemy but in reality you hurt yourself. Whichever way you view it, whoever is a fool (ode) for God is still better that the man who is the opposite. Words are powerful and you know it! In fact God uses the foolish to confound the wise.

This CONFUSION is nearing its peak and I am not wasting time again arguing or making any further contributions concerning this nation. I am now going to relax and watch GOD, yes GOD, bring to pass what He alone has planned for this nation. We have prayed ceaselessly, we have spoken out, what else? Yet, we see more confusion and madness each passing day. Only God, using whoever, whatever he chooses, will deliver Nigeria. I promise myself from this day on to remain positive while I wait so I dont lose my sanity....so help me God. I don tire.

So unfortunate. These fulanis have been the agressors and the people are fighting back. It is one and the same plan of trying so hard to islamize 9ja. These fulanis are supposed to be settlers but now want to put their hosts under through blood letting. Same for Kaduna, Benue where the evil plan is being carried out at intervals. God is watching and what we dont fully understand He knows and is able.

pretty_boi: A majority of Nigerians are so dull & myopic. When boko haram started their insurgency, foolish Nigerians were saying " ki lo kan mi?," " what's my business? As long as it stays in the north of Nigeria, I don't give a shyte. Let them all kill themselves if they like." Lol. A few people like us were saying boko haram is a national problem & not a regional, sectarian or Muslim vs Christian thing but NO! Typical of a lot of Nigerians, they chose to see the whole insurgency with bias based on tribal, religious & local ethnic affiliations forgetting that a lot of the people killed in Northern Nigeria are/were innocent Nigerians of all religions, tribes & ethnicities. Christians,Muslims,Yoruba,Igbo Hausa,Idoma,Tiv,Calabar,Efik,Fulani,Igala, etc Nigerians from all corners (including & mostly people from these Northern states) of the country have been victims but no some people preferred to see it as a fight between "tribes" and/or "religions." A lot of Igbo-Nigerians selfishly claiming that "Igbo people are the most attacked people" as if bombs know how to detect people's tribes before they kill them. A lot of selfish Christians saying "all Muslims are evil because boko haram members are Muslims."

Now,the new defacto government of Nigeria known as the dreaded boko haram is planning to extend their terror campaign from the north to the heart-beat of the country & it's now some people want to start opening their eyes to see rightly? Some blindly still think that boko haram is "trying to islamize Nigeria." Lol. I laugh out really loud. These guys are terrorists & do not necessarily need any reason to back up what they're doing. That's there job & they're doing it & here we have a clueless, daft & weak government that doesn't know what to do,coupled with the fact that the majority of the people of this country are also foolish, daft & biased about every single thing. Nigeria is at war,at war with terrorists, not Muslims or Christians,Igbo,Hausa,Yoruba or Tiv. When we were supposed to work as a nation to fight these terrorists,we were saying "it wasn't our business" & they kept growing & capturing Nigerian territories one after the other.
First it was Borno state, then Yobe, then they expanded to several other states....Niger,Kano,Adamawa,Bauchi, etc & you guys thought they would stop there? If you mumus like, still keep deceiving yourselves that this is about Christians vs Muslims, tribal rivalry or regional rivalry, when we wake up one day & see that we no longer have a country, may be we would realise then, but it would already be too late. I only pray that boko haram is not able to capture Lagos otherwise,we Nigerians would definitely have become refugees.
God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Amen.
You are wrong. BOKO HARAM is a Jihadist group loyal to allah and koran. A non-muslim must not lead a bonafide muslim. This would have happened a long time ago but certain dynamics stopped or delayed it. The hausa/fulani muslim is NEVER happy to see a yoruba muslim or christian in power because it is against the teachings of koran. This explains why they take leadership as their birth right. They do not reckon with their yoruba counterpart and they do not hide it. We must understand these dynamics to fully grasp what is happening to Nigeria. SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE is the only way out if God does not intervene in His own strange way.

OkparaIgbo: Look at how easy it was to nick these miscreants in the bud by simple intelligence provided by Lagosians and someone here will keep ranting about how the North and infact their leaders are not in support of this "man's evil to man" called boko haram. You know these people and infact they live amongst you and in your community and also attend your mosque..so if you want Boko menace to stop in the North then do what the Lagosians have done and expose these killers to the Law and watch it's full force descend on them.. angry Stop with the blaming and propaganda on GEJ, He lives miles away from you Islamic "leaders and elders"
The northern elders and boko haram are one and same people. We are not deceived.

Lest I forget, no two individuals with different goals can work together. Can two work together except they agree? This is the problem of North and South. Only God can make this marriage work because it is a coming together of two completely different regions. One wants to go far right and the other wants far left. This will stall progress. One says if I am not made the head I will work to kill the union and the other resists but with much pains. Enough of this animal kingdom.
PoliticsRe: Is Amnesty The Solution To Insecurity, Terrorism & Boko-Haram Crises? by dbride: 2:21pm On Apr 09, 2013
coputa: The easy way to fight insecurity and the menace of Boko haram is to go back and right the wrongs of our past leaders..what we are withnesing now was a result of total neglect and complete lack of plan for the youths of this country...imagine our universities churning out millions of graduates without jobs, how do you want them to survive, these is the spill over of hostilities that has now soowball into a huge monster..we need a sincere government that will cleanse the system by balancing the lopsided system of government we are operating,if this is done, then the problem of insecurity, militancy boko haram insurgence and other social maladies confronting us will fade away like a morning mist.
How old are you? Is it the lopsided system of government that created boko haram? Boko haram is a force created to fight the very idea of an UNBELIEVER (southerner) leading a BELIEVER (northern muslim, not yoruba muslim). It is against the Islamic belief. Mind you, the yoruba muslims are not considered pure by their hausa/fulani counterparts. That explains why so many muslim yorubas were slaughtered in Kano during their religious riots years back.
We must understand these dynamics to know what we face in Nigeria as a nation. Education has not helped to change this perception because their religion..koran and hadith... is the foundation for any form of education.

This is the reason Nigeria is where it is today. When in power, the northerner is controlled by the koran. A muslim leader cannot report or penalise a fellow muslim in any case of fraud or crime. Islam forbids snitching on a fellow muslim. Yes, one's religion should be one's way of life but it becomes deangerous and retrogressive when that religion encourages corruption, cover-up of evil or crime if it involves my kith and kin. This is the foundation of our problem. How do you think corruption got to this level. Calculate the no of years they ruled 9ja and you will see what I am saying. They controlled majority of the ministries for so many years. Corruption has now become our way of life because it was planted so deep for so many years back.

From the above, and if truth must be told, the north and the south have different ideologies just like night and day. The south cannot ask the north to stop practising their koran and they likewise cannot force us to become muslims and something must give...PEACE. Solution is a (Sovereign) National Conference. Let's face the truth for once.

Repeatedly I have cautioned that the northern elders that are bent on amnesty for boko haram are doing so for their own selfish reasons, not because they dont know that this will become a gateway to hell for Nigeria. I know them, I grew up in their midst and I know that when they are being governed or led by non-muslim (which koran forbids), they seek ways to destroy that nation. They secretly support boko haram and that explains why non of them has ever condemned them publicly. The ones who were killed or attacked by the boko boys are those whose loyalty is in question. They dare not oppose them even secretly within the four walls of their bedroom because the walls have ears.

With this, we can see that the northern elders are in a web. One, they are secretly in support of the boko jihadists and they also want to be in the good books of the southerners. To show the boko boys that they truly support them, they canvass for amnesty even when they know boko haram is a pricipled jihadist group whose agenda is death to the unbeliever, nothing more nothing less. Dont be surprised, if the northern elders succeed in securing amnesty on their behalf, the boko boys will use it to finance their course but this time with a DIFFERENT NAME. Of course, fake representatives of boko haram would show up for amnesty. Yes, the corrupt northern elders would have financial gains as well while the islamic agenda continues unabated. For God's sake, how do you ask for amnesty for the man you do not know!!!!!Deceit, deceit.

Let nobody be deceived or naive, Boko Haram is the VOICE OF THE NORTHERNERS. They are simply saying, if we are not in power, nigeria will not know peace. But for God, their wicked plans would have had far reaching disastrous results. Amnesty is plan B for the northern elders.

Anmesty will not work. They just want to plunge this country into hell simply because they are not in power. Let's resist them. All southerners over there, do the needful and let them get burnt by the fire they ignited. Period.
An unbeliever does not lead a believer according to their koran! Then, let's separate. Truth is bitter.

The planning was tacky. Started hours behind schedule. continuity was poor, had to wait at intervals with nothing happening for Omawunmi to go change. Good comedy would have filled in the gap? By 11pm it was over. The show proper was less than 1 1/2 hrs. The waiting period for the show to take off was more than the showtime itself. On the whole, it was a ripoff. The crowd complained but excused her being her first concert. Performances lacked that fire. All looked tired except the dancers. Omawunmi kept on pulling up or pulling down her outfit that appeared too tight on her. Money down the drain with so many seats empty.

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Yet To Decide On Amnesty by dbride: 12:46pm On Apr 08, 2013
There two groups with different agenda.

1. Boko Haram, the die hard principled jihadists who are fighting for allah to islamize Nigeria by spilling blood.
This group are faceless and dont care for any amnesty. They are loyal to their course.

2. Northern leaders, a bunch of corrupt men and women who want amnesty for their own imaginary boko haram group to
milk the nation like they did in the past for NOMAD EDUCATION. Corruption makes people senseless. How can this
group speak for the other group even when the other group does not want amnesty? You ask for amnesty for the
group you dont know? This group have never seen themselves as one with others if we consider their wicked ways
when in power and out of power. They seem to have this policy of Destroy Nigeria whether in power or out of power.

In conclusion, the northern leaders know that boko haram are jihadists true to the koran they all believe in and are sympathetic to their course, the boko haram group also know that the northern leaders understand them but CORRUPTION and the wealth they have accummulated will not let them come on board openly. The northern leaders cannot condemn boko haram openly and so they seek for amnesty instead on behalf of boko haram that have no need for it. The northern leaders are playing tricks here to save their lives and to convince boko haram that they are on their side.
Has anyone asked why boko haram is after them too? Boko haram knows that they have to be one islamic body first in the north b4 they can press further. They are slowing succeeding in telling the southerners in the north that that is islamic territory and to the northern leaders that they should come on board openly/quietly or be killed. We must understand these dynamics to know the intents of their heart.

Clearly, amnesty will not solve this boko haram problem. It is a spiritual warfare playing out in the physical and God himself has allowed it. Southerners in the north, do the right thing and allow the one who has set fire in his house get burnt by it. If you do not believe in God, please start now and draw close to Him in spirit and in truth. He is real. The ways He chooses to make things happen for us are not always the ways we know. Things are deep and not my intention to confuse anyone here but I am confident in HIM.

PoliticsRe: Pardon, Part Of My Plea Bargain, Says Alamieyeseigha by dbride: 11:15am On Apr 08, 2013
Ngwakwe: I'm not a party to nor do I have stake in this plea bargain.

However, an agreement is an agreement and should be respected.

If Peter Odili, Orji Uzor Kalu, Asiwaju Tinubu, Salisu Buhari, Bankole, Patricia Ete, Adolphus Nwagbara etc could stand on their trial to a stand still without conviction from any court of law in Nigeria. DSP Alamieyeeigha could have still pull through in messing with our Judiciary if it wasn't for the plea bargain. EFCC should stop selective justice to perceived enemies of Mr President and start carrying out their duty without fear or favour.

The truth may be bitter, 90% of our politicians belong to the prison. Alamieyeseigha is no exception.

Under the present political climate in this dilapidated Nigeria, Alams deserves the pardon if he was forced into the bargain by the Federal Government on this stated terms.

Ribadu should tell us how true this revelation is before I pass my judgement on GEJ.
An agreement is an agreement. You make an agreement on behalf of the majority of the people, if it is injurious to the people, then be sure to fall out of favour with the people. You dug your grave and you will lie there alone. Dont blame the people, as you always do, when they call GEJ names. Every word, action or deed is a seed sown and has consequencies. It is wisdom to sow your seed at the right time. Alams pardon was done at the wrong time. How can you start the fight against corruption by pardoning the corrupt. Let's apply our God-given brain here and think like higher beings above animals. I am first a human being b4 gender, nationality or tribe
PoliticsRe: Pardon, Part Of My Plea Bargain, Says Alamieyeseigha by dbride: 10:53am On Apr 08, 2013
What nonsense! These black leaders dont understand what leadership is all about. Leaders are suppose to SERVE and do the wishes of the majority of the people not the other way round. They should know the heartbeat of the people, what they want and what they dont! Constitutional rights must be applied with wisdom in line with the HEARTBEAT of the led.

The problem of leadership in Nigeria or black africa in general is the mistake of the Leader/President seeing himself as THE MASTER instead of THE SERVANT of the people. A Servant is humble and serves while a Master lords it over the people, more like a tyrant.

Who cares, the people have condemned the pardon and if GEJ thinks they are not serious, then I have one advice for him: A President is as relevant to the people as he listens and works with their heartbeat! You outlive your usefulness when you continually give the people what you want and not what they ask. You cannot know more than all of them especially when the see your very wicked moves.

Part of plea bargain if Alam made MEND accept the amnesty. MEND struck again 2 days ago! Corruption can never fight Evil and win. Let's learn to do things the godly way whatever the cost for a lasting solution. Our leaders are plain L A Z Y. Their thoughts/ideas, even sincere ones, are laced with corruption. When will they reject openly this pact they have with the DEVIL? Corruption is a demon and Nigeria is in captivity. What unholy reasons to be corrupt!

GOD PLEASE INTERVENE NOW.

Chubhie: Am in support of total crushing of boko. But when you look at how the state released over 900billion to fight this and up till now boko is still getting deadlier while the state still millions daily keeping soliders on the street. As a wise investor, what would you have done after taking stock of all that have happened so far and bearing in mind how many innocent souls have been lost in the process. Am also of the view that some interests still want the carnarge to continue cos dem are profit from it.
Boko Haram has an agenda. They have not asked for amnesty or did you hear that they showed face to make that request? Why are they hiding their identity? These northerners have a deadly agenda. God knows it and is hardening their hearts like pharoah and they will be consumed soon.

They are slowly but unconciously putting themselves in that position where division will be the only way out. God does not allow things to happen for no reason. All powers belong to Him. Satan used the evil men to kill Jesus, God allowed it, we are better for it!

Gamji007: Nice suggestion. But the problem here is boko haram has many faces. How do you know which target to hit? I also think the millitary are aware of so many strategies, yours inclusive. its either the strategies are not working or the govt is not being sincere in the issue. But still, amnesty deal should be considered since every other option has failed. Amnesty may or may not be the solution, but its worth a try in the absence of any known solution.
Gamji007, you want to sound not really for amnesty but you are really for it. You too have many faces. You confirm that boko haram has many faces and therefore difficult to know which target to hit.

By the same standard, which face will get amnesty and which will continue in blood lettinghuhhuh Please read your comment above carefully again and again. It is a tricky situation. Bombing, as we speak, is still on going in Iraq. These people are devil's incarnate and the devil is trouble personified. AMNESTY WILL NEVER BRING PEACE. Boko Haram has a different agenda so do not try to waste our resources in the name of amnesty. They need more money to finance their evil agenda. They know it, they are not showing face but dont mind when the northern leaders suggest amnesty.
Yes, we talk like natural men that we are.

Spiritually, I have one word and I am very confident: God has plans for this nation, whether as one or divided I dont know, all good and bad are now working as vessels in His Hands to achieve that plan. There are vessels unto honour and vessels unto dishonour. I wait fearlessly but confidently on Him who sees, knows and understands all things especially as so many deeds, words and actions of leaders and the led are so so abnormal, beyond comprehension.

Gamji007, unless you want to tell me that boko haram has KIDNAPPED NIGERIA and are now asking for ransom in the form of amnesty through their "non violent" but deceitful partners. Yeah, this is kidnapping on a higher dimension!!! Some of these northern leaders know these people and they are one with them! God is exposing them and they are hiding their shame behind AMNESTY. ^^^^Anything that will bring peace to the country is welcome^^^^. Very naive, very very naive. You dine with the devil hoping to find peace, peace will elude you because the devil is trouble by nature and cannot give you peace.

Who are the boko haram members? Can you identify them? Who then collects this "amnesty" booty? I hate when people allow tribal sentiments influence their judgment because they fail to see the flaws in their argument thereby sound empty.

As we speak, they are yet to show face which should have been the first step of dialogue b4 the word AMNESTY. Northern leaders, including Turai, are asking for amnesty for the people they claim not to know.
