PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is The Second Fastest Market For Champagne - N41bn Spent by dbride: 6:25pm On Mar 22, 2013
Iphy Grace: 80 percent below poverty line my foot, a poor man in nigeria can maintain 2bottles of gulder a day minus his meals, even a beggars hustle a day will land him 10bottles with enough change to pay a prostit.ute.
Are you still here or from another planet. Haba. Check again, this time be true to yourself.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is The Second Fastest Market For Champagne - N41bn Spent by dbride: 6:22pm On Mar 22, 2013
bigx: Meanwhile smart people are thinking of how to import the champagne and take a share of that 41 billion,
shows why there would always be rich and poor

and mind you, I am neither a leader nor a politician but I have champagne when I go clubbing.
Yeah so much for ego tripping bigx. You are still very few and in different categories too. It is simply a case of incredibly too much money in excess in the hands of a few. Dont forget that some are even richer than the state.

Seun, I see you are more interested in reading ONLY 'RIP' from us. Sorry I had to challenge our policemen to look into these wicked 'killing' of innocent todlers in Ketu, Lagos and Aba. What coincidence! How can these paired up children possibly open these vehicles, especially the SUV, lock themselves and suffocate in them? There's more to it than meets the eye.

SEUN, DO NOT DELETE OR HIDE MY COMMENT AGAIN. ARE YOU ALLERGIC TO TRUTH?

His attack dogs and defence tigers are kind of mute. Their man is not making their job easy at all, defending the indefensible.

Gbawe.:
Why will the Government not just shut up? GEJ should accept this is the time to embrace silence as the best option. These guys just disgrace Nigeria more as they come up with these ridiculous , senseless and totally bizarre excuses.

Our President who normally does "not give a damn" is now lying disgracefully because condemnation for this crass madness has gone beyond Nigeria. In our Nation, it is easy to deceive, divide and conquer a people who are politically unsophisticated and disunited to the extent they are their own worst enemies. The likes of GEJ subscribe to the notion of opportunistically Throwing Nigerians a 'bone'. That won't do in this case because this is a repulsive turn of event that 'neutrals' (non-Nigerians) have adjudged to mean the President is a pal of corruption. That is why the silly, desperate and inanely unbelievable excuses are flying around.
Gbawe, I truly weep for this nation. What a president and how low can we go.

I feel bad for REUBEN ABATI the man I admired so much. You finally chose to play with pigs and got yourself so muddied.
PoliticsRe: Alamieyeseigha Was Pardoned For Critical Political & Security Reasons by dbride: 2:50pm On Mar 22, 2013
Which Critical Political and Security Reasons will uphold corruption? My God, this people have lost some vital screws upstairs.

They are beginning to sound like Kayode Ezekiel Salako of the 65 pastor's fame who married Foluke Daramola. CONFUSED and DISTURBED. When a man's conscience is judging him and he loses his peace (that is GOD speaking), he stubbornly cooks up anything and everything to defend his mistake. Instead of correcting that mistake, he walks arrogantly deeper into his mess.

I n t e r l u d e..... there is yet another senseless reason coming. One lie to cover 2 lies, two to cover 3 and so on.

GEJ humble yourself and do the right thing. Stop embarrassing yourself!

franchizy: Wen will NL be matured in comments. GEJ ve performed very well in terms of power generation. For example, in my state (Abia), GEJ collaborated wit our God sent Gov T. A. Orji and for the past 16 months we have 24hrs Electricity especially in Aba.

Hold ur Governors responsible if u don't ve steady Electricity and leave GEJ alone. Whether u all like it or not GEJ already won 2015 Election.

God Bless GEJ
God Bless T.A. Orji
God Bless PDP
God Bless Nigeria
Oh God, here lies the mistake of a sycophant; he never remembers that God exists!

idupaul: I am really ashamed I voted this liar ...Jonathan does not have the will or ability to fix anything ..he is part of the convenant that has vowed to leave Nigeria in darkness... This is the Electricity that had improved by almost 40percent when Barth Nnaji was there at the rate NNaji was working Nigerias power problem would have been a thing of the past now but NO wicked Jonathan sent him away so darkness can return ..Nw we are back to 1999 power ratings
Well said. Barth Nnaji truly had plans for this sector.

Christianity EtcRe: A Man Of God Told Me She Is Not My Wife by dbride: 4:18pm On Mar 21, 2013
Normally the deep mutual feelings you share with your partner brings you together in marriage, but when one suddenly needs confirmation from a third and even fourth party of what one feels, then that one is confused and should go slow and pray again and again until ones heart finds peace. Confusion is not God but a heart full of peace is God-sign.
Christianity EtcRe: A Man Of God Told Me She Is Not My Wife by dbride: 3:58pm On Mar 21, 2013
How long have you been a christian because christianity means the one who has a relationship with Christ who is God. The pastor is supposed to lead you to Christ and teach you how to establish a one on one relationship with Jesus. The rest is God and You. Ask God Himself, he is nearer to you (man is a spirit being) than your skin. If you draw near, He would draw near too! Whether or not He answers you there and then, just keep talking to Him and trust that He hears you. Soon, very soon, He will surprise you with some answers but note that the communication line must be clear... meaning no negative thoughts and deeds, look into the mirror (Bible) to make sure the fruits of the spirit abound in you (Galatians 5), nobody is perfect but our hearts must desire God through obedience which God Himself calls "Love for Him".

On the other hand, if you are convinced your pastor is well in tune with God, then listen to him after you must have prayed to get confirmation in your spirit. If it is God's will, you will experience so much peace in your heart, otherwise you'll be confused still.

Having a word from your pastor and still wanting a comfirmation from this forum, is a sign that you are confused. no peace (like Kayode Ezekiel Salako of 65 pastors'fame). I pray for God's guidance and goodluck.

Tinubu, gather the boko haram boys and pick out the ones who have not stained their hands with blood. Hillarious. It is wisdom to always think verrrrrrrry well before we talk, especially as leaders. Politicians most of the time talk just because they must talk to impress or deceive or curry favour. They are not serious people and they have that penchant of talking back and forth, in circles, zig-zag and arriving at nothing.

1MCN: I feel the problem and the intentions of those who corrosively criticize the president is simple: they just wonna pull him down. It doesnt matter to them all the good the man (may) do(es). If he does a single good thing they still tan it just to make it look mutilated and undesirable. But one thing I like about the guy is his calmness, resilience, tenacity, strongwill, patience in delayed gratification, forgiveness (obviously he's not revengeful), and his not a talkative (he's not a media president even though he has good command of English).
Am not holding fort for him. Am not looking up to him for any personal favours- i feel am even too far from his notice. Am only saying my own view.
Our youths must try to have an independent mind to analyze issues so that other people dont use them to further their hideous, heinious, hellish aims.
Maybe time will tell more of GEJ's success or failure.
God bless Nig
Why do you think people who speak out freely their pains have no mind of their own? Dont be deceived, your idea is so yesterday, there is so much awareness now even in the villages. Nobody is using anybody. How long will the people remain laid back or nonchallant about how they are governed? When you insinuate that the people have no mind of their own, you insult them. Even if they were foolish in the past, they have become wise now. This is progress and I thank God for that. You'd be surprised that most posters are not politicians but ordinary nigerians who are tired of the status quo. Do not also forget that majority of them voted for him and are now disappointed. They have every right to speak out and the president should look inwards to make the necessary adjustments. Criticism makes any wise leader better but their undoing is that they erroneously think they come from the opposition only.

[quote author=Wise-talk]You mean your president is an i.d.i.o.t? You cannot be better. You need another country to call you own.[/quote

Does Nigeria now belong to Jonathan Goodluck? Being a president of a nation only means you are a servant to the people; you have agreed to serve the people, you are accountable to the people and the people pay you for your services, you do what they want. President Jonathan Ebele Goodluck is a servant to the people of Nigeria. If he performs well, they will commend him and if otherwise, he gets these kinds of bashing. There's so much awareness now which informs the intense fire spitting from the people.

We shall get there one day. For now, majority of people like you think occupants of public positions are gods and must not be spanked if and when they derail or even mess up with people's right to existence.

manny4life: I thought this thread was freedom to speak your mind, so how is it that people are attacking GEJ supporters? huh
Attacking GEJ supporters is done by written words not by tying up your hands that you cannot write, so you are very FREE. You have equally attacked others yet they have not stopped writing down their thoughts. We are all free or are you losing ground?

Wise-talk:
WELL, THE PRESIDENT MAY NOT BE PERFECT,BUT I HAVE CAREFULLY OBSERVED THAT HE IS NOT DESPERATE FOR POWER. HE ATTAINED THIS MAGNIFIED POSITION COINCIDENTALLY AND THINGS WERE JUST FALLING INTO PLACE FOR HIM. MOST TIMES, LEADERS THAT ARE DESPERATE MAY NEVER KNOW THE IMPLICATION OF IT, HENCE THEY LOOSE THE POWER BEFORE THEY THINK OF KEEPING IT. CONSIDER THE LIKES OF ABACHA, MUBARAK, GADDAFI AND SO MANY OTHERS. THEY HELD ON TO POWER LIKE AN INHERITANCE AND THEY ENDED BADLY. SO NEVER HOLD ON TO POWER, POSITION AND AUTHORITY AS IF ITS YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY OR AS IF NO OTHER PERSON CAN HANDLE THAT POSITION EXCEPT YOU.
How do you mean by "holding on to power"? Did he not contest inspite of their zoning arrangement? Is he not planning to contest again? I have always advised you to make sense to correspond with your username.

zayhal: After committing murder can she still stay in that house she built with her sweat? Look at the number of people that will suffer. Her own life is ruined, first off. Her kids will carry the stigma and torment throughout their lives, the man's parents and other beneficiaries who he might be catering for.
Some people are literally making marriage a do or die affair.
Hmmmmmm...this does not happen in marriage alone, it can happen in any relationship that involves deep emotions. Note, I am not for or against, people react differently when they are hurting, some would not mind because staying in marriage is like a gold card, some would walk away like you suggested, some too cannot stand being treated like a discarded old rag as that is exactly what bringing in a second wife means, and this latter group can kill....LOVE turns HATE. He that is down needs fear no fall. They lose confidence in themselves, no self worth. When you dont value yourself anymore, then the one who has reduced you to that low level is in danger because his life also becomes worthless to you. It is not right but that's life.

That man took that woman for granted. Love is sweet and it can be deadly too! He thought he could get away with it being the man, but he was wrong!. May his soul rest in peace. It is a case of DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY and DO NOT KILL.

What has Mark done as a senate president in 16 years, absolutely nothing yet got the gut to declare his intention to run for presidency.
chucky, come to think of it, David Mark is more articulate than Jonathan Goodluck. Senate president is not the same as the president of a nation. I can see you do not know the difference.

Satan also used the word of God when he tried to deceive Jesus. The word of God is God Himself, sharper than any two-edged sword, apply it with the fear of God and His wisdom or it will pierce both ways. God is not mocked, what you sow you reap. NEVER say GOD TOLD ME when HE did not. It is dangerous.
