ok 2008. what about 2009? what about 2011? iniesta, ok they are one. and sneider? why? just because inter won the world cup means sneider was better? afterall spain won the world cup. did you just say alonso? o please! the only reason xavi has not been named world player of the year is the rare rare rare breed the lion messiah. and pirlo? J12: The greatest midfielder over the last four years ke? Yes, he tried in 2008, but in 2010 iniesta and alonso carried his ass along. Besides, sneigder was better in 2010.
Pirlo is way better than xavi, no hating. |

naturally anyone who hates FCB would be here shouting italy, italy, italy. but then the italians are gonna swallow the sedative pills after spain pass the hell out of them. and dont nobody tell me that the tiki taka is boring cus it's only when you have to watch your beloved team chase and chase and chase the ball but to no avail and therby hide at the back that the tiki taka becomes 'boring' |

why do people foolishly say stuff like 'he did nt score any goal bla bla bla. See, thats the wonder about messi, even when he doesnt score you still love to watch him. The dribbles, the mazy runs, the assists. You see guys like hiduain and tevez and co getting all of the goals for argentina but they are never half as good as messi in the games. Messi is the reason argentina won an olympic gold, messi is the reason argentina won the junior world cup, messi is the reason argentina made the world cup q finals, messi is the reason argentina made copa america q final, messi was part of the squad which made the final of the copa america 2008. These achievements still way more than ronaldo's for portugal. |

In set pieces(free kick),who is better? 2) in heading, who is better? 3) in speed, who is better? 4) in terms of both foot, who is far more dexterious? 5) in shot power, who is better 6) in terams of team leading and football experience, who has it? 7) who has proven himself in any team and competition to be good and and blameless?....look u guys argue like people who just watched a tape of messi taged ''best of messi'',without watching real football...rubbish... |

that's exactly what iam talking about. time has come 2 be pragmatic. i think i do want options for my barcelona dont know bout u though.spaniards aint big fellas alright but the last time i checked barca is not for spanish nationals only. when we retain 80 percent of the ball, the opponents park the bus. against very big teams we pass it around and around and then what happens? someone losses the ball and we get hit on the break. and bang! against play we crash out again, same old same old. this has to stop. that needed plan B must be on the template. i love our football, the possession, the technique, the skill but the haters would only ask , who won the game?with big guys and better set piece techniques we just might then have a elusive plan B. just maybe.same philosophy , just a plan B. AjanleKoko: I re-iterate again, I am strongly doubting your cule-ness. Show me you are truly one of us. Barcelona have NEVER played with a big bumbling man in defence, at least not in the modern era. We play slightly-built, highly mobile, clever chaps. Plus, Spaniards are not among the world's tallest folks. I've visited a couple of times, and I can confirm that a tall Spaniard (over 6 feet) is kind of a rarity. Most of them are short fellas.
I like the type of people we play. Fast, clever, mobile players who can use the ball intelligently. I hate the Kompany type of power defenders, because power is usually all they can offer. A few losses will not change that for me. In fact, a few lost games/titles is a good thing, keeps the desire fresh, and keeps the titles mobile. If we won every title every year, we might as well stop watching the game. |

bro cule 2 da bone. Without mincing words, our problem would be madrid and chelsea. Madrid could only score us via set pieces and goal mouth scrambles basically. we had refs who were courageous enough to made correct decisions when the pepes the alonsos the diarras the marcelos the ramoses of this world tried to break our limbs. How many guys are gonna clear set pieces againnst the ronaldos, the benzes, the higuains and all them giants? Against 100 teams in europe we gonna trash them, but chelsea and madrid, we need some big men. I know what iam saying. I dont mean some big morons, i mean some big skillful lads. AjanleKoko: ^^ Bros, I am beginning to doubt your cule-ness. The same little men won Guardiola 14 trophies in 4 years. Which other coach, with their array of big men, won half as many trophies within the same period?
The same little men beat Madrid twice at the Bernabeu (with all their big men) last season, and still managed to score twice past Chelsea, despite their bus parking. Little men can also do the job. That we lost a couple of games is not an indication that the squad is too small. What we need in the squad is depth, which we have struggled with. The clubs's attitude this year I like: Nobody, not even Keita or Affelay, will be sold. Unless any player insist that they want to leave and the price is right. Alba is a good signing, home-grown, but experienced with another team. And of course we will have Batra, Muniesa, and Montoya from the B team joining. I'm sure they will all get games, and they will do well. |

So get behind me satan. naijalodge: Shut up ur stinking mouth, what do u know about football?,did c.Ronaldo play with scholes and giggs alone?,CRonaldo played with any and every player he finds himself with,be it sporting lisbon, man utd,Real madrid, and even portugal,i believe u are even watching the euros, hope you see what we espect from a world best player(CR7),he gave man utd uefa champions leauge, premier leuge,fa cup, fiffa world club, carling, even won the world best player award, He went to madrid, gave them copa de ray, spanish liga, won highest goal scorer both in man utd and real madrid, He went to euros, single handedly gave portugal their victory against holand, also gave them ticket to semi final after scoring the only goal against czech which they will be playing against spain in semi,..look,what else do u expect from a world best player like ronaldo..thats what we re talking about...messi went to world cup,he could nt even score a single goal,he hosted 2011 copa america which is far easier tham euros,he could nt even score a single goal even after placing them in thesame group with cheap bolivia and colombia..,zidane gave madrid uefa champions leauge, gave france world cup..look messi is just an average player like suarez who just got painted by xavi and inesta..i believe messi's experience with argentina has taught him never to leave bacer...because if he cross his way to any other leauge,nt even premiership?,hmm..he should ask shevichenko what will happen to him...goat.. |
have you ever stopped to ask yourself, what if zizzou had played for algeria his native country instead of france? Would he have won the world cup or the euros? Would he have won 3 ballon dors? Would it take anything from the player that he was? Messi needs no world cup for us to see the magic he can do with a football. He is the gretest of this generation and arguable the greatest of all time.
I'm entitled to my own opinion na...Messi is the best, no doubt but Zizou played extremely well for both club and country earning him champions league trophies and the world cup. In the days of Zizou, we had lots of outstanding players unlike now that it's either Messi or Ronaldo + Zizou played for both Juve and Madrid and he was exceptional. So, i'm gonna say it again, Messi is the best ever, save Zizou!
|

i really do not love such sighnings at this time. I mean lets face some facts here. We ve got very great adversaries in real madrid. Our players are a million times more skillful than the madrid guys. What they have over us gottta be only size, strength and physique. Thats how they can beat us. Bullying us off the ball, kicking us, set pieces and goal mouth scrambles. Thats how they score 95 percent of their goals. Our players are so so so skillful and dedeicated but they re a group of little lads. If we re gonna put madrid back in their place we need up to 5 big guys in the squad. Whats wrong with guys like kompany, skirtel, suarez, llorente, falcao, gutierez etc. We dont need no alba kind of guy. We are up against madrid and chelsea not valencia nor bilbbao. |

boko haram must have had a full arm up in your ass as you typed this mis-comment. Your father! Boko harams kill muslims alrright, but muslims who speak against them, muslims who are in government with the 'unbeliever' and 'infidel' gej., they kill muslims who are in sympathy with the christian led federal government. Putting it subtly if you are a muslim and you dare make a friend who is a christian, then they dont give a fvck you re a mislim, you re marked mvtherfvcked. So i say again for making this comment, your father! LagosShia: a very irresponsible remark unfit for a leader that is how i'd describe this man's comment.the comment also shows that the reverend is as ignorant if not more than boko haram.he needs to find out the meaning of jihad.boko haram, like their wahhabi aka salafist fellows the world over, are ruthless and barbaric even killing their fellow muslims (both sunni and shia muslims).boko haram try to justify their bad and criminal behaviour by bringing religion into it and twisting islamic beliefs.the criminals are doing so,but why should a leader also do the same thing by making inciting speeches based on ignorance? a leader should be enlightened and responsible enough to promote peace, unity and justice.he should not make ignorant speeches that would embolden the criminals and find them sympathizers.now, the ignorant reverend that other ignorant folks also revere has launched a verbal attack that even muslims (in their overwhelming majority in nigeria) who oppose and condemn boko haram would feel bad about.why alienate every muslim and attack his islamic beliefs because boko haram criminals are abusing religion to justify their injustifiable acts?
boko haram like all wahhabi oriented groups of fanatics have carried out attacks against muslims everywhere including nigeria,syria,iraq,pakistan,afghanistan,e.t.c.my question to the ignorant man in sheep clothing is this:if boko haram is carrying out a jihad against christians,is it also a jihad they are carrying out against their muslim victims?
it is so obvious now more than ever that there are people who stand to gain or seeking to gain from the boko haram menace.they are using this issue with the help of the media to spread more hatred and division.obviously,if they dont stand to gain, they will not make wreckless and ugly statements of incitement.this man is indeed a wolf in sheep clothing.he is playing the victim and over-generalizing with religious and tribal statements to pretend he is innocent.haven't christians and muslims alike committed crimes against the interest of nigeria?boko haram is far off from islam and far off from leading a jihad in the true meaning of the word in islamic terminology. |

1025: @kokoa, i am sure u stopped this sweet massage of urs half way because it will soon go soar. how come u never mention the most recent encounter of barca with the english side - chelsea? la liga is a two team and two man league. it is all about barca-madrid, messi -ronaldo. buyern no beat ur madrid abi chelsea no humble ur almighty barca even with 10 men? messi in his carrier is yet to score against chelsea na pep never win over chelsea. all these goals of messi, why didn't he score them against chelsea even when penalty was given to him to break that jinx. messi has 73 goals. Who really cares if he scores against chelsea or not? It's only in rowdy smelly view centres and motor parks that they do. Even if i assemble 10 nigerian u17 players and ask them to stay in the 18 yard box, they will draw barca. |

see that run from messi men, evading tackles left right and centre. If it were someone else like the generic best player in the world he would be rolling 100 times on the floor like he got hit by a train. |
