But seriously, u guys cracked me up. I was torn between laughing, smh and hissing to some of the posts. The level and disparity in intellect is quite amazing.....while you applaud some on one hand, you wonder if some of us are actually 30+ on the other hand.

Point of note; I'm far from being a leader on this thread. I basically come here to unwind, interact, extend friendship and partake in intelligent conversations.

I will be meeting my crush tomorrow, but there's an issue. She wants us to meet at the Mall, Lekki but I don't do malls...I prefer pubs or bars but she wants neither. We are at crossroads, I may just opt out. We don't always seem to agree since we began communicating. Nothing serious between us, just friendship atm.

This page should focus more on intellectual discussions. This will help people to blend in better and loosen up. The focus on romance and relationships talk serves as a hindrance to some. People in their 30s and above should have a lot of ideas about life to offer to each other and the younger generation. The same logic applies to the WhatsApp group where the focus is on people interested in hooking up.

There is a difference between trying to relate with someone and connect with someone. Focus on the latter (at least initially) will benefit more.

This is the same reason why the thread was moved to this section which took some by surprise.

In as much as I agree with some of the thoughts you have expressed, I also feel you would have done well by offering us those intellectual discussions rather than running riot on the thread.

FYI, the thread offers every form of conversations and not hookups which is a clear divergence from the whatsap group. I chose not to be part of the group 'cos of my reservations but I won't come here to condemn it.

If you have creative ideas or sound business propositions then you should be free to bring it on, we will engage you trust me.

I don't think it's right to condemn what you've not aided in building.

@ddshow, we are just about to celebrate our first anniversary but to answer your question, yes it has been fulfilling so far. What I would have done differently is to have agreed to move sooner than I did. I initially didn't want to move because I was working and all and now I am idle hence I stalk this thread and started a diary in the diary section but I should have trusted God and moved sooner, it's been good.

I wish you well in this lifetime journey. Remind us of your anniversary so we can extend our love.
