Wasting my time getting degrees....while i was in the street i made more money than as a graduate!...
As it is now i have put the certificates one side...i focus on the street where i can see and spend money without waiting for someone to pay me at the end of every month.

nursery 1 in a standard sch here in abuja is around 150,000 to 200,000 per term depending on the estate

The worse part is that in my estate the cheapest fee is 125,000 and when I was discussing with a colleague of mine, he said he is paying 250,000 for his daughter in same nursery 1.

Just few days ago my boss in the office said he is paying around 950,000 for the daughter in secondary sch here in abuja

To pay teachers good salary is a problem.

My opinion the higher the tuition fee the greater the child's get an opportunity in life with all necessary facilities available to propel such child not just in academics alone but in sports, entertainment and career building.
....but in nigeria tuiton fee is based on show off , competition amongs parents, political class connection and security....

First of all, I’m forced to say that you are wrong, the CLIENT is in charge of paying everyone and not the Contractor. Infact the contractor depends on the Payment Certificate as issued by the Architect on a project to get his payment from the Client.

However, my analogy is only in reference to the example which he gave and which is a fallacy.
The Architects works before the Civil Engineer comes in. In large projects, it’s wrong yes.
However in small scale projects like duplexes, etc whic does not involve tender boards, etc, you must agree with me that the Architect is always the only member of the construction industry that is commissioned by the client.
The architect in turn then employs a civil engineer to do the structures of his designs and pays him off.

That is the analogy I was giving to negate his claim that it is the civil engineer who employs the architect.
In that vein, I still insist that he was misleading young people.

However, I agree with you when you say that architects can not achieve his objectives without the inputs of others. But then same can be said of the others like the civil engineers. They will have nothing to work with without the Architects.

The from my own little experience while i worked with cranebourg and dantata construction company...The architect basically works for the company and he does exactly what he is instructed to do bu the project manager bearing in mind cost valuation.

Oga once you are a project manager it does not mean what your discipline is....Anybody can be the head regardless of what profession you study....Its all about business and profit making for the organization.

The architect can not achieve his objectives without the structural engineer if not all his designs will be modified on site as construction proceeds

An Archi is not a structural engineer.... just so you know an archi depends on all the enigeers to bring to reality his vision and design.
I have being involved in so many state govenment project Lagos State Ministry of works and infastructure....
I am an electrical engr. But i virtually interpreted all the archi designs on 10km road network but when it comes to field work baba i gats go learn more of structural design because wetin de paper different from what we saw on site thereby need for adjustment and modifications which demands high calculations which i the archi on the project never invovles.

Over sabi and i too know government.....
The truth is staring at them but all they want is find a channel they can steal funds for 2023....bokoharam them no de cahsout from there again as the format done cast....

You wish. These loans are tied to Infrastructure. The Chinese do not release cash. Once the worth of the project is settled and counterpart funding paid, they bring in their engineers and deliver the project. Chinese concessionary loans are the best because they are embezzlement-proof.

Nigeria hires a consultant (an Italian firm in this case) to determine that the projects are delivered according to European standards and that's it. Chinese loans also have the least interest rate and higher moratorium (grace period before Nigeria starts paying up). It's no wonder the West are threatened by the Chinese in Africa and are sponsoring a lot of propaganda against them. China is the best thing to have happened to Africa.
