Reason because government is ready to sell oil to other countries and import everything refined from same oil back to the country thereby claiming subsidy like its our fault....they are the ones that invested in other refineries oversee so they ensure oil must be refined there and brought back here at a huge cost....theives
Let each state refine their oil provided to them by federal government and see if the commodity will not be enough to the point we can start selling to our neighbours...even now self the refined oil never de enough for us still some greedy individual are head bent taking it to neighbouring countries to make huge profit.

Good regulation but failing in aspect of strigent compliance and consequences to those who violates the rules and regulations for the purpose of greed...example is there should be no increase in transport fare at what soever time during the working hour and any person found wanting should be reported by taking photo of him and his vehicle details...that is a civil way of organising people or else there will be panic if the price in the transport sector is not regulated.

The problem is not the lock down...the government has no clear projection on how it will mitigate the pandemic virus...just so you know how can a director ncdc be in desperate need of testing kits after 6 weeks of lockdown. Even if we give them the whole year you are only allowing the incompetence government to continue to siphon the treasury and everyday you keep hearing complain and excuses why they could not do this and that like its our fault.

ITS not just about the engineering know how,its about the tools and equipments,do this engineering graduates have the heavy machinery to be contracted?,banks will not give them loans,Nigeria is supposed to have a government owned construction company,but like every thing public in Nigeria,the people will run it down with corruption,the only solution is for wealthy men like the dangotes to own big construction companies.

The yorubas though need to change their ways,they should start looking inwards,lagos as the means to set up a construction company for the southwest then employ local engineers.Yoruba are fucking up these days gan.

Bro...i have had opportunity to work within the ministry of works as project staff, you will be surprise to know that all the money stolen and shared in Nigeria always come from road construction or housing or infrastructure...the whole of the construction company you see in Nigeria today, a Nigerian is a major key player that is they are always the one presenting this Lebanese, china , Indian and others to be expatriate mean while the real expatriate might just be one the rest are artisans that learnt the job over a period of time. Because they are loyal and very secretive most construction company prefer them to be at the top of affairs to oversee all the departments.
The truth is Nigeria we are our own undoing...we scupper.
