Do you even know the meaning of niger delta?? What is a delta?

Do you want me to help you do a Google search on that??
Going by your way of reasoning, only the about 10 states which are directly connected to River Niger should be qualified to be part of Nigeria. States like Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Abia, Enugu, Borno, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kano, Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo, Lagos, Ogun, are not part of Nigeria because they are not even close to River Niger at all. Please which primary school did you attend?

What's your highest level of education?
Anambra State is named after River Omambala but the river in question actually passes through only four out of the over 17 LGAs in the state. Can we therefore argue that the other 13 LGAs are not part of Anambra State?

Lagos State was named after Lagos Island but most of its other 19 LGAs don't share boundaries with Lagos Island. Can we therefore argue that they are really not part of Lagos State?
Even Delta State is named after the Estuary of River Niger but only about three or four of its LGA are actually located right on the delta. Following your logic, we can say that the other 21 LGAs of the state are not actually part of the state.
I am the one supposed to ask you for your highest level of education.

good. We don't want to hear igbos did coup again. Nigerian soldiers of various tribes, including igbo, Yoruba, MB and SS did coup
The coup is termed Igbo coup not because of the ethic composition of the plotters but because of the pattern of casualty which favored Igbo as no single Igbo politician was killed unlike Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba, Urhobo, and so many other tribes which lost their most revered leaders. In addition, most of the killings were done by the Igbo members of the plot and after the gruesome killings, only Igbos were reported to have celebrated the coup publicly in the North.

I heard that kidnapping strategy doesn't work that way because if you kidnapp a rich man, no one has access to his account to pay the ransom, hence you rather kidnapp his relation and the rich man will be available to negotiate and pay the ransom.

You have a point there. However, if, after the bonus, earnings don't increase commensurately, then market forces are likely to adjust the price down. From now on I will only buy UCAP when there is a prolonged general bear which can pull its price down to a divided yield of close to 25% like it happened in Covid-19 time when it fell to as low as N1.8

I made money in Dangote Sugar, from 17 to 60 and something. It's not easy. Most of my investments were made in 2020 at bargain prices. Some of them, like UCAP, have done more than 5 baggers, though I haven't sold yet.

This year, I played Accesscorp and GTCO, and both gave me over 50%. I am currently in BUA Cement, with already more than 10%. I don't need to be shouting all the time. wink
Seems to me that UCAP has entered into the league of the FUGAZ in terms of price behavior and divided yield hence its capital appreciation potential from now on is very limited except an upheaval happens in the company.

Lol, if that is the case, why are you arguing again? Seriously, concentration is not normally used in reference to solvent. Instead, it is used in reference to the solution as a whole. However, "high concentration" is used to describe a solution that has a large amount of solute. In that sense, saying that water moves from low concentration to high concentration is correct. You were right. wink

I was looking at it from the perspective of solvent concentration. Solvent moves from where its concentration (solvent with respect to solute) is higher to where it is lower. cheesy
You should have known that I wanted to type solute but autocorrect demon.

In your initial answer, you mentioned low and high concentration. When you do that, it's important to be clear whether you are referring to the concentration of the solvent or the solute. It is good to be precise.
Concentration is defined as the relative quantity of solute present in a fixed or standard quantity of solvent. So concentration is normally used in reference to solvent.

Does it make sense to talk about "solvent concentration" at all? Isn't it a solute that concentrate in a solvent?

@ositadima1
Can there be anything like concentration of water?
I know that I could measure the concentration of salt in grams of that salt per dm³ of water, but how do you measure concentration of water? Would you say 2grams of water per dm³ of water?

My friend, it is like you are one of those people who spend time cramming for exams. I am not arguing that osmosis occurs through a semipermeable membrane or that it acts on water. I am correcting the mistake that you both made: whether osmosis or diffusion, it moves from a higher concentration region to a lower one. Please, if you cannot understand, let us drop the matter. I am tired. lipsrsealed

You mentioned osmotic pressure. I can tell you that you can't have pressure without a potential difference. You must have a high-potential side and a low-potential side, then pressure begins to push from high to low. The same principle applies in biology, physics, chemistry, and electricity.
In Physics, pressure is Force per unit area, but that doesn't apply in the concept of osmotic pressure. Just like saying someone is under work pressure in the office, and the usage of pressure here has nothing to do with a physical force being mounted on him.

For your information, I got my first degree in Biology.

Get high school Biology text book to read more about osmosis, how it can cause turgidity and flaccidity in cells
Exactly. He is looking at Biological principles through the lense of Physics. Apart from osmosis, there are other movements which happen against concentration gradients (from areas of lower to higher concentration) in living cells, e.g Active transport and others.

If you want to understand it practically, peel off the bark a pawpaw fruit and cut it into two. Take one half and fill it halfway with salty water, then place it in a bucket containing fresh water (i.e. water without salt), leave it there and go back to check after ten hours, you will observe that the level of water inside the pawpaw has increased.... meaning that water has flowed from the fresh water into the pawpaw because of the higher salt concentration inside the pawpaw at the beginning.

Just like falling, you can’t fall from the ground floor to the first floor. cheesy
You are bringing in Physics and law of gravity into it. That doesn't apply here. There is what is called osmotic pressure and it is the force which helps move water across the membrane. Osmosis is strictly about the movement of water molecules and not the movement of any other substance.

In all instances of osmosis, there are two solutions separated by a semi-permeable membrane which permits only water to move across it. Now, when those two solutions of different concentrations are connected with that semi permeable membrane, osmotic pressure is immediately set up with the goal of equalizing the two different concentrations. This makes water molecules to start moving away from the hypotonic solution (i.e the side of lower concentration) through the membrane to go and dilute the hypertonic solution (i.e. the side of higher concentration) at the opposite end and in the end both solutions become isotonic (i.e. of equal concentrations)

I hope Dr. Awo agrees. undecided
Osmosis is the movement of water specifically (and not just any substance) from a region of lower concentration of any other substance to a region of higher concentration of that same substance through a semipermeable membrane.

I share your thoughts. GTCO and Zenith are already saturated. The only unique thing about them now is that when there is a global phenomenon or national development which creates an intense and prolonged bearish run, these two stocks usually recover very rapidly far above all the others once the bearish trend ends hence they are good for strategic pick for quick and assured capital appreciation under such circumstances.
