Exactly what happened, and I am now regreting it. But my biggest problem is that I can't find any news on what is going on with it.
Actually there is nothing going on in AFROMEDIA. It is a very dormant company with its figures deep in the red zone.
Their turn over has fallen very badly and has remained like that ever since 2011. When the opportunity came in June to exit, I ran out in such a manner that my heels were touching the back of my head while running.

Greetings to all. Please any idea when Afromedia is coming back? My money is stuck there. Thanks.
Why didn't you exit when the opportunity came briefly in June this year when it demonstrated some liquidity? Or you thought it was going to rally like some other penny stocks hence left it hoping to take huge profit? I too had been stuck in it since 2011 but didn't let the opportunity to exit it slip by when it miraculously came in June.

watch as these select stocks do the opposite by next week. You will wonder why this news did not affect them. I think this news would have been more effective if we have a lot of FPI heavily invested in these stocks.
Couldn't have been better said. NSE is a very anomalous market.

3 stocks I always avoid, no matter how sound their fundamentals are, is: Airtel (1,400.10), Nestle (1,050.00), and Seplat (1,837.00). They are the stocks we refer to as "Nri Ndi Oga". Those that understand it should please explain to those that did not understand it.
As far as I am concerned, these three stocks you mentioned are only to be owned by those who want to play very safe about their capital in addition to having some assurance of annual dividends. Outside these considerations, I find it difficult to see any other reason for anyone buying them except maybe for ostentation.

Goan sit down abeg.. Why are you trying to change the narrative. Northerners had nothing to do with restructuring

Nnamdi Azikiwe and Ben Nwaebueze were the first people who fought against restructuring at the time it was supposed to be discussed. Aguyi Ironsi (with the help of his Igbo brothers) was the one that brought decree 34 that finally nailed any form of restructuring.
God bless you abundantly. That monicker wants to dubiously rewrite history just to demonize Northerners.

I always said it. The elites of the SE are saboteurs. Can you listen to this mental case? Even a secondary school student knows that everything is wrong with the constitution. This dingbat will never say this if Hoebee were to be president.
What do you expect from a brother of Aguiyi Ironsi who destroyed our working Independence constitution in the name of seeking national unity which was actually not lacking at that point in time?

Nothing is wrong with the constitution. The people are the problems.

When patriotic, sincere and accountable leader are in governance, any constitution or rule will work.

Even if you have the best constitution with bad leaders, it will result to woes.
The bolded is naturally illogical because people with such characters are more or less saints and with saints you don't even need a constitution or any laws. Remember that laws are made for the lawless and those who refuse to be guided by their consciences. The existence of laws and constitutions means that people are naturally lawless hence the kind of people you describe above don't really exist.

Niger delta is not the same as South south.
In the context of Nigeria's breakup into smaller countries, Niger Delta means the current SS Geopolitical region which is made up of the six BEDRAC states.

so Nzeogwu is not Igbo then. I need you to say it please
Nzeogwu did not at anytime identify himself as Igbo. In one of his interviews, he described himself as being more popular among Ojukwu's people (i.e.Igbos) than Ojukwu himself. Which means he viewed Igbos as Ojukwu's people only and not his own people.

Is Kaduna Nzeogwu from Niger Delta? If so, then Niger Delta is Biafra because it was him who put us in this.
The architect of the coup was Ifeajuna a native of Onitsha in today SE. Nzeogwu was only recruited into the plot three months to the day of execution.

You're right BUT Edo is part of Biafra. The rest of Niger Delta I don't know. But Edo and Oba of Bini are bonafide Biafrans.
God forbid. Of all the Niger Delta states, Edo is the farthest from Biafra be it physically, culturally, etc. Even if all the other 16 States in Southern Nigeria decide to separate from the North and form a country, agree to name it Biafra, Edo will still not join it.

You and your Obidient brothers are the only ones who remember one Nigeria only during elections but return to denigrate one Nigeria and resume seeking Biafra once your preferred candidate loses that election. It happened in 2015 when your adopted son Goodluck Jonathan contested and failed.

Gowon, you said "one Nigeria" is the best. Today, how market?
This is why you folks from the SE will hardly be taken seriously. Just imagine a unsuspecting ignorant youth reading your message above. He will definitely conclude that the fraudulent One-Nigeria philosophy was invented by the North to dominate the country whereas it was invented and propagated by you very Easterners who only later came to hate it because it failed to materialize the way you had calculated it to put you at an undue advantage over all other tribes of Nigeria.
That you couldn't even be honest enough to mention that Azikiwe the overall political leader of Igbos invented the expression that 'The unity of Nigeria is perpetual and non-negotiable' and also that 'To keep Nigeria one is a thing we Easterners are ready to pay the ultimate price for' speaks volume of the deception and revisionism coming from that your SE axis.
Why not just admit that Azikiwe was actually the undisputed architect of one Nigeria while Ojukwu and Ironsi cemented it with Dangote and Bua Cements?

Yeah, in 1960s, they left for Biafra, it was you that went to get them.

They are asking for a simple referendum, not Lagos yet that is a problem.

Until them carry gun enetr SW start to kill you is when u will listen.
Before you ever thought of leaving for Biafra in 1960, all other regions had been asking for separation from Nigeria but it was you Biafrans who colluded with the British overlords to stop them with threats of jailing their political leaders. As if that wasn't enough, you Biafrans went further to coin the expression; "The unity of Nigeria is perpetual and non-negotiable". Even at the point when Ijaws declared Niger Delta Republic, it was you Biafrans who fought and killed them with the Nigerian Federal might and sentenced their overall leader to death by hanging and then you quickly and unilaterally amended the constitution to criminalize any call for secession from Nigeria.
So why do you now suddenly turn around to want to pull out from the same Nigeria you said her unity is perpetual and non-negotiable?

Dividend yield of Zenith Bank was about 30% during COVID-19 period.

N10 million invested in Zenith Bank shares during the loak down would have given a total dividend of about N10 million from June 2020 till date and the Investment is now valued more than N30 million
Yes, I recall how Zenith in particular was on a free fall and hit about N8 during the lockdown and then stayed at N9+ plus for long begging for buyers.

That is exactly the aim and final solution the regulators have profer to this issue of dividend payment. Investors are not suppose to fill any form once they gave their complete details to their respective stockbrokers during account opening process. It's unfortunate that many of the registrars have not keyed into this laudable innovation for more than two years now.

Well let's hope for the best that in no distant time other registrars will follow suit.
No wonder I recently got alert for Access Bank dividend payment without being able to recall when I ever filled the e-mandate form of the bank's registrar.

Please kindly enlighten me on this issue of E dividend form. If I fill thru African prudential for UBA dividend, can i use the same African prudential e dividend form for other stocks like DANGSUGAR Buafoods and accesscorp etc, or each stocks have their e dividend form individually. Thanks
If you fill through AFRIPRUD, it will only work for all your stocks which have AFRIPRUD as their registrars. It will not work for your stocks under any other registrar. For those other stocks you have to find out their registrars and fill the forms too whether online or physically at their offices during working hours.

An unassuming friend just collected 4.6m from UBA as interim dividend. He started investing only 3 years ago, during the COVID lockdowns. He came into the market with big money though.
That Covid-19 moment appeared to many as an unfortunate moment but in actual fact it was the coming of a very rare of its kind opportunity to create a life time financial freedom as most of the best dividend paying stocks in terms of dividend yield fell so badly and were begging for buyers at the most ridiculous prices ever. Your friend's case of moving large sums of money into the stock market during the Covid-19 scourge was a case of a very golden opportunity meeting a very solid preparation. I recall buying some UCAP at N1.8 during Covid-19 times.
TravelRe: How Many States Have You Visited in Nigeria And Which State Did You Enjoy Most? by Deadlytruth(m): 7:15am On Oct 07, 2023
Out of the 37 subnational units of Nigeria, I have visited 32 and stayed in them for at least two weeks. The five I have not visited are Borno, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara.

But the one I find most interesting is Lagos State because of its huge population and large scale economic activities which makes it a perfect competitive market where you really don't need connection to get a job or other economic opportunities. Lagos is the only state in Nigeria where merit works to a very large extent. It is the excellence of your skills that brings you patronage. Just be very good at what you do in Lagos and before you know it you can't meet up with the demand for your services anymore. Yes I understand that the traffic gridlock of Lagos is very frustrating and cost of accomodation is killing. But with excellent skills in your profession, you will easily pay rents and have enough to pay your way legitimately through that traffic gridlock. In addition, the economy of Lagos is the most diverse and its financial system is the most advanced. During the Emifiele cash crunch moment, Lagos wasn't too affected because people like me could still buy even N100 commodities (tomatoes, rice, eggs, and other daily needs) without cash as supermarkets like ShopRite, Just Rite, etc which abound in Lagos more than any other state still afforded one the use of debit cards to pay. Then most manufactured products are cheapest in Lagos because that is the very state where the manufacturing factories are located.
