You are still new on the forum and you want to develop a reputation for unruly behavior already.
You are pathetic lol
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Zambia: Super Eagles Win On Penalties (Nations Cup) by deb(m): 1:16pm On Jan 22, 2010
cheesy Apologies to all NL actually after Tunisia & cameroun's match i saw nigeria paired with cameroun so i left to my frnds place i was their till this morning and i never watch nor listen to news before i login to NL my earlier post was based on what was posted on SUPER SPORT3 yesterday TRUELY SORRY 4 D MIS INFO
Not to worry, even CAF made the mistake on their website after the match. It was much later in the night that it was corrected.
A few sports journalist who read the news from CAF website immediately after the match also innocently misinformed the public
based on what they saw on CAF's website before the information was corrected. CAF is a confused entity and that shameless
Issa Hayatou should resign really.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Zambia: Super Eagles Win On Penalties (Nations Cup) by deb(m): 1:08pm On Jan 22, 2010
It is not going to be an easy match because Zambia will give Eagles hell that day but I believe the Eagles
can triumph at the end of the day if they approach the match with the seriousness that it deserves.

I've never been a fan of Amodu but I think the guy is enjoying the type of luck that any team will wish for in
a competition. I believe in football that irrespective of your skill or ability you still need a little bit of luck and the
SE now is really enjoying that. It is now left for them to make the most of it by not letting themselves down.
Anyone should agree with me that meeting Zambia at the Quarter-Finals is a better luck for Nigeria compared to playing
Cameroon at that level, aside the luck a victory against Zambia, which I expect, will even help the eagles get their rhythm
better as a team ahead of much tougher opposition as the competition progresses.

Let me not be too assertive about the Chipolopolo of Zambia, but I think a victory over them may take Nigeria to the final
and we could just surprisingly win the cup against all permutations by experts. One other thing I suspect is that Amodu
might be told to stick with the team afterall and we might just pay dearly for it at the World Cup. Amodu is a lucky b.a.s.t.a.r.d,  cheesy
he has always been (Two world cup qualifications for Nigeria is no joke but the last one a great fluke for me)
My inference, deduction and expected conclusion stated. Cheers cheesy

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 12:06pm On Jan 21, 2010
@ l.a.t.o and too_soon

There are two Yusufs in the squad. Stop confusing yourselves. We have Yusuf Ayila and Yusuf Mohammed you both probably are refering to
different ones. At the right back, I will prefer Chidi Odiah anytime except if he is not fit enough

Dude! Do you watch the game from the back of your telesethuh Who do you think makes all those decisive tackles?
Watch again man!
cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy I think Etuhu was great doing silent jobs same applies to the other defensive midfielders in Ayila and especially Kaita
SportsRe: Should We Still Employ The Mozambique Coach? by deb(m): 5:59am On Jan 21, 2010
Even if we lost to them, NO WAY!

SportsRe: Breaking News:nigeria Are Lining Up Rafa Benitez As Their Coach by deb(m): 5:52am On Jan 21, 2010
A Rafa will do better than Amodu. You can't even compare but I still don't want him.
There are better coaches than him
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 5:25am On Jan 21, 2010
lol. . . grin. .havent heard that phrase since secondary school days. . .

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 8:39pm On Jan 20, 2010
I said goals ratio not highest goals scored

PLAYER Goals Caps Ave.
4. O. Martins 15 26 0.58
12. Y. Aiyegbeni 18 46 0.39
Quite revealing. Thanks
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 8:35pm On Jan 20, 2010

Could you explain what you mean by goal ratio? please come to my level
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 8:33pm On Jan 20, 2010
I suggest Odemwingie/Mikel
Confused at your choice of Mikel
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 8:26pm On Jan 20, 2010
You are not making sense; Martins has a better goals ratio for Nigeria than Yakubu. I don't care how many goals they scored for their teams.
You are wrong! Yakubu is Eagles' highest goal scorerer after Rashidi Yekini.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 8:14pm On Jan 20, 2010
Whats with all these praises? WHo una play? Mozambique!!. . .

If you cant show your qualities versus top teams like Egypt. . . .Then you dont worth jack shi.t to the team!. . . .

Win versus a lesser opponent and then we rain down praises. . . .KMT. . . .Lets see the performance in the Quaters!
1-0 victory (could have been 2-1 loss cheesy)  against Benin - Condemned

3-0 (could have been 4-0) victory against Mozambique worth praising.

And trust me, Egypt is not as superb, we made them look great by giving them too much space to run with the ball.
We still haven't corrected that mistake. Even today we gave Mozambique lots of spaces to make cracking shots. Thanks to Enyeanma
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 8:11pm On Jan 20, 2010
Yusuf Mohamed------------------ 6.5    lost the ball so many times
I use to be is no.1 critic but after today, I will say that he is gaining more confidence and playing better.
Can't remember him losing ball as much as you positioned but if you had said he is not very creative with causing danger
when pushing the ball forward i would have agreed with you on that. I still miss Odiah, except he is not fit.

For now I can't condemn Amodu because he has won 3 - 0 even though it is against Mozambique, it is still a good score
line. Its the type that you should expect from Eagles against the so called african "minnows". It could have been 4-0 remember?
if not for Nsofor's miss
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 8:01pm On Jan 20, 2010
I think Shittu should be captain
I don't think our technical crew is so brilliant to realize that he is worth being made a captain.
Lots of sentiments go into what we do in our country. Its a general problem.

And why has no one mentioned my Osaze? Another patriotic player like Shittu always putting his heart
into every match
SportsRe: Sat Guru Marahaji And T.b Joshua In Spiritual Battle Over Eagles by deb(m): 7:41pm On Jan 20, 2010
That silly and foolish Guru marahji says we will not make it past 1st round.

Isn't our qualification today another proof that he is a Zap.ing faking Aszhole?
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 7:37pm On Jan 20, 2010
@Sagamite,

Shittu is a great player. I've never doubted his leadership ability and committment on the field of play.
My challenge with Amodu was using Nnwaneri over him against Egypt.

Yobo is a disaster and his presence is no longer needed in that team. Even when he is fit he commits school
boy blunders

We have the best team possible out on the pitch now except Yakubu who is holding us to ransom with his tired legs.

Yakubu must be replaced by Matins or Nsofor in the next game.

Brilliant organisation of the defence as always by Shittu and brilliant man-marking by Apam.

Yobo must never be let back into the team ever again.

Echiejile showed that a left-back can attack without foregoing his defensive responsibility. I would argue that he even attacks better than Taiwo because he always delivers the cross rather than taking shots from obscene distances like Taiwo.

Finally, Keitas presence in midfield is 2 years overdue. No SE midfielder has energy like Keita.

With the same team (+Martins/Nsofor - Yakubu), we can go all the way to the final.
On Yobo cheesy cheesy cheesy LOL

Best post so far bar Echiejile being better attacking-wise than TT.

If they continue playing the way they played today, they will get to the finals.

Kaita and Apam were magnificient.
I agree too

I am reading but intentionally do not join in as the place would be full of insults.

There are so many many daft daft daft daft daft people on here, it is shocking. Some people should not be commenting about football.

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 7:10pm On Jan 20, 2010
@FBS
A below par match. . .
below par teams but heck a WIN is a WIN. And I will take it.

UP SE.    cheesy
Sure Up Eagles!   cheesy We won!
Sagamite where art thou? your Amodu has won cheesy
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 7:03pm On Jan 20, 2010
What else should a super eagles team have done against Mozambique?
Mozambique has always been a crap but we made them look fantastic during the qualifiers.

This result on a normal day shouldn't be a surprise.

The only reason why i pray day and night for the Super chickens to go home early is so Amodu can be sacked. .
IF you can assure me that he'll be sacked irrespective of the outcome of this tournament,
i swear i'll support them 100%  cool
True talk. I will do the same too. I do't want Amodu taking us to the world cup because the heart-break will be
too much to bear .
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 6:50pm On Jan 20, 2010
Half fit Martins scores!
Yakubu could have missed that chance you know?

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 6:19pm On Jan 20, 2010
Am happy we are creating chances and we have converted 2
but am still scared about the way we give Mozambique space to shoot o.
I hope it doesn't continue like this through the tournament
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 4:34pm On Jan 20, 2010
Sincerely speaking, Amodu is not a sound coach. But it is only people like Ogunjobi and Sanni Lulu that could be defending him blindly. Anyway, they are not expected back in this great nation b/cos they are failure already destroying our 20yrs unbeaten record with the Pharao's. However, regardless of how far the SE goes, this bunch of failure should pack their bags and sink with Amodu. Mozambique 2-SE 1
20years! are you kidding me. It is 47years of unbeaten record against Egypt that was broken just like that
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Mozambique African Nations Cup 3-0 by deb(m): 4:27pm On Jan 20, 2010
Is it only Yahkubu? how about Yusuf?! not again
SportsRe: Nff Should Bring Back Stephen Keshi! by deb(m): 4:04pm On Jan 20, 2010
He is no better, we need a foreign coach.simple
I don't fancy statements like the above quoted.
We don't need a foreign coach, we only need a good coach it doesn't matter his color
as long as he is good be it black or white. Nigeria needs a great coach that will call the bluff
of NFF when it comes to making decision,
that is all we need

Remember how Siasia refused to include Mikel in his Olympic team despite all the cry by NFF and
Nigerians and yet he still went on to the final of the competition. He could have won the gold medal
if not for that 3 in 1 player called Messi that increased the number of opposition against us
SportsRe: Four Reasons Why Amoudu Must Be Sacked Now! by deb(m): 2:57pm On Jan 20, 2010
please who discovered Y. Mohammed, M. Emenaro?
Is Yusuf a footballer? What happened to his Eneramo at the end of the day?
