@R.Biafra Either SE wins or draw the match. but pray for them to lose so that Amodu will be SACKED; he's no coachEven a biafrian knows that Amodu is a no good school boy coach for Nigeria his beloved nation .One Nation Always. Nigeria the greatest! Greater than any individual or power |
Saturday is just around the corner, but I want the cup! ![]() This is African nation's cup and we have won silver and bronze more than any other African nation, the cup is the only thing that makes sense for us. Any coach that cannot win it should go fc.uk himself ![]() |
The irresponsible Amodu has once again in his tradition way, exonerated himself of any lethargic display by the super-chickens. This guy has never taken responsibility for any failure on his path and he calls himself a 'leader'. Anything that happens against the team is not his fault and he is always passing the blame to the players alone. He is an azshole of the highest order and NFF is a moronic association to have imposed a monkey like him on a brilliant nation like Nigeria. |
“Now that he still left the Maharaja for St Joshua; Nigeria will lose to Egypt by 0-2., but we lost 3-1, a prove that it wasn't because of your Sorcerer. I don't need anyone to tell me that Nigeria will not do well in the Nation's cup Under Amodu. I've been shouting it on this forum for almost 3months |
Guys be fair on Amodu now ![]() He categorically told the whole world that he went to Angola with SUPER fit players |
We need Sunni Lulu ![]() |
You did not ask why Yusuf Mohammed made the starting list? |
Amodu Eagles Players' rating by goal.com "Nigeria Enyeama: 6.5 - Made a number of crucial saves and displayed confident handling. Well beaten on the goals. Yussuf: 4.5 - A poor outing. Suffered, like the rest of his backline, from lapses in concentration and used the ball ineffectively when he crossed the half-way line. Yobo: 5 - More was expected from the captain of the Super Eagles. He failed to lead the defensive line with any sort of authority and has not formed an effective partnership with Nwaneri. Nwaneri: 6 - The Sion man was guilty of ball watching in the run up to Moteab's goal and will not be happy with his level of performance. Taiwo: 6 - At least offered something going forward since he could not stem the Egyptian crosses on his defensive flank. Ayila: 6 - An effective fulcrum in midfield, willing to take and use the ball but did not want to know once his side went two behind. Etuhu: 5 - Looked rudderless at times, like a spare man in the middle. Was neither defensive anchor like Ayila nor playmaker like Mikel. Mikel: 7 - Why was he taken off? Nigeria's most capable playmaker was withdrawn despite being the only midfielder responsible enough to take hold of the ball and try to make something happen. Needs to brush up on his pass selection but the Super Eagles are a better side with him, rather than without. Obasi: 8.5 - The best player in green on the day. His goal was a joy to behold and his skill, pace and trickery gave the likes of Fathallah a torrid time. To think, his place in the squad, let alone the team, was in doubt. He must start, even if Martins is fit. Uche: 5 - Leaned back on his only true chance and was not the mobile point of reference he needed to be. Yakubu: 5 - Still working his way back to fitness and was way off the pace here. Substitutions Obinna: n/a Scarcely got a look in. Kanu: n/a Robbed in the run up to Egypt's third" Mikel: 7 - Why was he taken off? Nigeria's most capable playmaker was withdrawn despite being the only midfielder responsible enough to take hold of the ball and try to make something happen. Needs to brush up on his pass selection but the Super Eagles are a better side with him, rather than without.I consider the very above on Mikel as an indictment on Amodu. At least the analysis is coming from a british analyst |
This is what our asses get for hiring a cadaver as a coach. We are better off hiring a snowman!! Even after the Egyptian equalizer when it was clear we had lost control of the game Mr Shuaibu kept looking on like a bouncer at Insomnia. Look at how a real coach like Shehata kept on yelling tactics even when his team where up now thats what you call a coach! We where outplayed and outsmarted i think its high time we realized now that footie is beyond just a sport its a science which requires 80% intelligence and 20% powerI thought I was going to sleep until I read the above highlighted. You are so right! At a time, Amodu's clueless look was more like that of Sango ![]() |
Am yawning already zzzzz. 'Eagles made my day' Off to my bed now. Goodnight to you all. Will be back tomorrow |
Chil out guys there more hell comin. And then argentina 7 nig 0.Think its time 2 head 4 d synagogue. Whats tb saying.LMAO ![]() |
Oh Sagamite, my dude you are still awake. I thought you had gone to bed mourning Amodu's Eagles lol. Amodu is not worth the sweat lol ![]() Jokes apart you have great analytical mind and you are cool because you know how to passionately drive your point on Amodu, but I personally just couldn't see Amodu doing anything great at the nation's cup despite his statistics because of the manner he was getting his 'results' Anyway, lets call this a start, the competition is still fresh maybe Amodu can still lift the cup. Algeria once defeated us 5-1 or was it 5-0 under westerhof and we still went on to the final in 1990 before we failed to lift the trophy |
lol And we conceded 3 goals with the Egyptians under the same condition |
osaze is supposedly sick and martins is still injured. . .Thanks for answering the guy's question. Meanwhile, we had a fit Nsofor for most part of the match under the bench |
Dont be angry guys. You were beaten by the Champions. People are forgetting that Egypt is the reigning Champions of Africa. Give them a respect they deserve, they are the Champs.France was world champion when Senegal defeated them at the world cup. And this is even a Nation's cup that we are talking about a Nigerian team. We should be winning the cup and not getting defeated by the 'Champs' |
The campaign has started already? ![]() Nooooo Amodu must take us to World cup. Have you forgotten that he has great track records? He never loses, even though he doesn't score much goals he also never concedes much. He even sets a new world record losing to Egypt for the first time in 47years!!! Seriously we can't sack him now ![]() |
or we disband the teamAre you also a prophet? I was just going to prophesy what NFF will do. Guess what will happen next FOREIGN coach that will be expected to do miracles in 5months |
Yakubu: Una no even gree pass for me, una selfish o hilariouseagles koni baje oooooUnder Amodu? ![]() Am waiting for next match b4 l know what to do to Amodu.Would winning the next match matter? They had better bring the cup back home else! ![]() Gbam!!!!!!!!!!! you said all,Like Obama? Yes I concour ![]() |
@Ibime, are you drunk?FBS, he was referring to their psyche which is more like most of the present players born abroad in the eagles of today. my interpretation, i may be wrong ![]() |
Having been abroad for 13+ years, I believe that the average Nigerian intellect and sense of self-worth have regressed.I kinda agree with you a little on the intellect of some of our players, but don't you also think that a great leader could have done better? The team lacked leadership not only on the field of play but worst from the coaching aspect too. Till tomorrow, I will stick my neck for Onigbinde's leadership skill, not coaching skill, that is why he could assemble 'junk' in less than 3months and still not be disgraced even in a defeat. No wonder FIFA has kept him in their Technical committee for so long. Super chicken needs overhauling from the technical crew. |
I 'm glad that some folks here have taken SAGAMITE to task over his vociferous support for AMODU. I 'm also happy SAGAMITE took up the gauntlet and spoke up. That's the caliber of people with strong convictions.Fantastic contribution. You are my hero today @FBS Ladies and Gentlemen it ain't over yet and if I may add, you have just witnessed history. We lost to Egypt for the first time in 47 YEARS!!!You just made my day. The world needs to know how great we are as a team and what a fantastic world class coach we have. He even gave us a new world recorded losing to Egypt for the first time in 47 YEARS!!!. Seriously the guy is not bad at all. this defeat should wake the boys up.Is that what we need? Trying to wake up in the middle of every tournament while others are busy winning it? Life is guided by principles, if you violate it you will pay for it and that is what is happening to us. We know the right thing to do but we will not do it instead we will be busy putting statistics that cannot hold water together; like Amodu not losing any match, not scoring many goals but not conceding much either theory. we close our eyes to the fact that the team won must of its matches more like luck without any meaningful pattern of play. We simply lack vision and allowed ourselves to be fooled by one nonsense 'statistic'. I bet when we beat Mozambique and Benin by 1-0 each we will say that we have arrived again even if we don't have any team pattern and we scored our goals with individual brilliance like Obasi did today. Amodu had better bring back the cup?!!! I will break some heads at the airport o ![]() |
this forum can be used positively to try changing somethings in our country. Lets try to support one of our coaches to take over from amodu and rebuild the team. Samson Siasia, Stephen Keshi or Sunday Oliseh. These are all no- nonsense men and who can impart discipline and purpose in the team. There's nothing wrong with the players, just the team and the NFAMy guy welcome to NL. Malawi has proven to us that we don't need super stars to win matches we only need great coaches like Samson Siasia who can assemble even average player and turn them to a super star winning team |
I thought you guys were part of the middle east. LMAO! |
I am suprised if anyone didn't see this coming. We couldn't even qualify handsomely from the world cup group. The Chicken is home to roost, Amodu should have been sacked long ago. What is Papilo still doing in that team. Too many pensionersOMG!!! ![]() |
but he (amodu) told us not to expect miracle from them so why are we shouting here? And did we not also call for his sack? Did we not also hear some 'super stars' football analysts tell us that is exactly what a 'World Class' coach like Amodu should say. Promise less and over deliver? if you want me to dig threads to back this up I will do the wahala o? ![]() Oh Amodu is so proving some people right. What a fantastic coach! Question; When was the last time we lost with this kind of disgraceful margin in our first match of a Nation's cup? ![]() Amodu never losesCONFIRMED ![]() |
WHat is it with you people? Taiwo was the best defender on the field and you keep nagging on him? He's a left back! The offside trap being destroyed by Egypt was not his fault!I don't know. Taye wasn't that bad today? He even made some dangerous moves first half that I thought if we had converted we could have won from the first half. Whatever happened to the other defenders I don't know why Taye must be singled out as if Yobo was superb. I missed Adeleye. And what about that oloshi called Yusuf? wasn't he a disaster too? |
The Egyptians knew what they were doing, they had a game plan and each time they moved upfront you can tell they knew what they were doing. If you doubt me check out the build up for all the goals. That is a team that is tactically and technically sound. Can we tell the same story of Nigeria? |
SAGAMITEYeah Omar22! ![]() |
today's training was revealing. abeg, when is our first match scheduled for?Yea it was just a training. ![]() Nigerians don't worry Amodu's Eagles will surprise you all when the competition starts proper. ![]() |
UP AMODU EAGLES! THE GREATEST COACH IN NIGERIA WHOSE TEAM SCORES AND NEVER LOSES A MATCH . HE HAS NOT EVEN LOST A MATCH ![]() As good as statistics are, they are as good as lies if not viewed and analyse within the proper contest. That is what we are experiencing now. NFF oloshi will soon sack him now and expect a world class coach to come and do magic for Nigeria at the world cup |
Haaaaaa defender falling? |
I have promised myself never to get hypertension from watching S. Eagles. ![]() For those of you whose heart are 100% with the team I wish you well. As a patriotic Nigerian I want us to win but if we don't I no go kill myself, I don't care attitude na im I dey take watch the match o. Make I no come die young because of one football match ![]() Personally, I feel the Eagles are not doing too badly. |
