whatever happened to the discovery of gems waiting to be unearthed like Rabiu Ibrahim, Azeez, Nwankwo Obiora, Okoro of the u-17 and u-21 teams . . .do we have to allow them waste the way we are allowing Chrisanthus and Akinsola waste now ?

On the issue of allowing players to waste, I quite agree with you that some of our younger players could at least have been allowed to go and have a tournament experience
in the magnitude of the African Nation's cup.

The question I want to ask with the present squad is, where is the place for development in the team? This under-20 player Odion Ighalo readily comes to mind when would his likes
start rubbing shoulders with the senior team players to enable for proper transition and also maintain great quality of play in the SE?

We have four defensive midfielders in Sani Keita, Seyi Olofinjana, Dickson Etuhu and Yusuf Ayila, what do we need four
defensive mildfielders for? Are we going to the competition to do all defending? at least the Sani Kaita in my opinion
could have been dropped to accommodate one extra striker in Eneramo because the surely deserves to make the final list just like Obasi did.

Am yet to read from any of the Amodu faithfuls on his unstable (kalokalo) team selection attitude, maybe its also part of the attribute of being a great coach that
will go and win not only the nation's cup but the world cup for Nigeria.

Super Eagles would have been much better. Am not going to discuss Berti Vogts' record with anybody here all that I know
is that despite our losing out at the Quater-Finals under Berti Vogt, Super Eagles was finding rhythm, take it or leave it, and
if you doubt it go and watch that match between Nigeria and Ghana again. In fact, go watch all the matches we played at that
Ghana 2008 Nation's cup, the eagles got better with every game. I don't care if Berti had any previous record that is good or bad.
