As much I call for support for the Eaglet, I will advise that you don't raise your hope too high.
The team is not that fantastic. They are neither here nor there reason is because you can
smell a Champion when you see one. These ones haven't proved that yet.

And the coach to me sometime appear clueless psychologically studying his body language.
Its not enough to stand on your feet.

I hope Nigerians will give this guys some breathing space to perform before we start to boo them again.
I simply do not support under 17 players being booed for whichever result they pull in a match and
that is beside the fact that, that team is just 3months old (No thanks to FIFA MRI test that came too late)

I believe we can win today's match we just need to support the guys all the way like a true fan will do.
These are not super chickens, they are still new in this business abeg SUPPORT THEM

I hope we win the cup but I won't lose sleep on any Nigerian team no matter what anymore.

@ayusco

I use to laugh everytime I hear people say that Nigerian players are rich. Which money dem get sef?
They are just mediocre. How much of money do they have compared to the Drogbas, the Michael Essiens, Yaya Toure,
and the rest who are playing in the top clubs around the world. Mikel will not get so lucky wait till Chelsea sacks him
then he will know his true value. Those idiot chickens who think they have arrived. hisses nonsense! angry

SportsRe: How Tb Joshua Saw Super Eagles Stalemate by deb(m): 1:12pm On Sep 23, 2009
While i refuse to make the full extent of my capabilities public. i will say with all confidence that I am a prophet in the making

1: I have prophetically prophesied the outcome of two Nigeria matches here on Nairaland before they even took place (Check my posts for evidence)

The Tunisia 2-2 draw I prophesied at least a week before and actually placed a bet that Nigeria will not win the match.

I hereby prophesy this day that our next qualifying match will be a 1-1 draw. I have seen two trees behind a thick fog on a large green field filled with farmers who tried to protect their crops from flying eagles. after a period which seemed like 90 minutes, the Eagles came to land and the farmers gathered to talk, then the commotion began as in the start of the vision. after a period which seemed like 2 minutes, the eagles went to the side of 1 tree and the farmers to the other tree.

I hereby declare that the next qualifying match will be a 1-1 draw. I must mention here that I did not identify any Nigerian player, just faces through a thick fog. It could be the Carthage Eagles or The Super Eagles. so please be notified.

Thanks for your time.
You better let it be the Carthage Eagles! Else!!!
SportsRe: Nigeria (Super Chicken) Can't Defeat Kenya In Nairobi! by deb(m): 4:49pm On Sep 11, 2009
Misplaced priority is the order of the day with the super chicken.
You will see them beating Mozambique and kenya 4-0 now while Tunisia continues to win.

The animals sorry super chicken and their father NFF (No Future Forever) are at it again.
SportsRe: Amodu Blasts Kanu by deb(m): 4:44pm On Sep 11, 2009
Has Amodu ever accepted blame? He is the most useless coach Nigeria has ever had till date.
A complete mediocre of the highest order!
SportsRe: Nigeria (2) Vs Tunisia (2) on Sunday 6th September by deb(m): 4:11pm On Sep 11, 2009
A coach led a team to battle with a strategy that failed and you are saying it was not his fault. We have virtually fumbled and wumbled to get all the results under Amodu's leadership since this campaign started. If a coach will not help define the team then let him refund the salary and go home. Abi na only Nigerians God create?

All these mistakes you pointed out that led to the late equaliser by Tunisia were made over and over from the beginning to the end of the match, we were only lucky the Tunisians did not take their earlier chances. Remember the penalty?. If a coach finds his team playing this badly from the beginning of a crucial match of this maginitude, Is he not supposed to give them the strategy to correct the lapses?

Why do you think teams assemble players days before a match of this kind, is it to just mark register and kick the ball around? Is it not for mental, physical and tactical conditioning? Whose reponsibility is that?

Which NFF are you talking about?

Is this same NFF that left out siasia (a coach that was ranked 15th in the world by FIFA last year ) without a job and gave all coaching Jobs in the country to mediocre coaches.

Is it the same NFF that found it too difficult to replace Ladan Bosso until they were harassed by Nigerians to do so?

Is it the same NFF that has been blindly praising Amodu until we got to this mess of permutation again?

Abeg Oga make we talk true the wey things be.
@na_so

My brother, abeg tell dem again o! You are a correct guy!
SportsRe: Nigeria (2) Vs Tunisia (2) on Sunday 6th September by deb(m): 3:39pm On Sep 11, 2009
Same old story. We won't do the right thing at the right time until we get in to trouble.
And when we get into trouble, we never learn.

For those of you who forget things easily, the problem with our football now is a no brainer.
I can tell you what will happen because we don't ever learn.

1.  Tunisia is not likely going to drop any point again because they know what is at stake.

2.  Nigeria may not qualify, that is glaring anyway.

3.  NFF will start talking about a "Drawing Board" that does not exist. If we had any it would have been destroyed
by now because we have gone back to that board several time.

4.  We will hire a foreign coach that we will expect to perform miracle within the shortest period of time. That means even
Arsene Wenger or Alex Ferguson cannot succeed in Nigeria coaching. The fans are part of the problem because we are also
impatient to allow the best of foreign coaches to build a world class team.

5.  After a few stumble blocks with a foreign coach who means well for the growth of the game, we are dissatisfied so we sack him

6.  We employ another local coach and we repeat the cycle.

THE TRUTH OF THE WHOLE MATTER IS THIS; WE NEED A WORLD CLASS COACH BE IT WHITE OR BLACK AND WE NEED TO GIVE THAT COACH
AT LEAST 4YRS TO BUILD A WORLD CHAMPION TEAM. NIGERIA CAN WIN THE WORLD CUP BUT WE HAVE TO BE READY TO DO THE SACRIFICE THAT IT REQUIRES. AS PER EMPLOYING A LOCAL COACH, ONLY SAMSON SIASIA MAY STAND THE TEST OF TIME AMONGST THE LOCAL ONES BECAUSE WHEN COMPETITION GETS TO THE CRUCIAL STAGES, EVEN SIASIA COULD FIZZLE OUT.
SportsRe: Osaze Peter Odemwingie by deb(m): 9:12pm On Sep 10, 2009
Osaze is a Fantastic player. Always working hard and playing with his heart.
I wish the guy goes to world cup but those other useless players who are just money driven
will not let him go. Onyara all of them except Osaze
PoliticsRe: Stop The Ghana Bashing -ghana's High Commisioner To Nigeria by deb(m): 8:35pm On Sep 10, 2009
When foreigners say all manner of negative and exaggerated things about Nigeria we don't come
out like this to defend ourselves. We either keep quite or help the world spread our negatives more.

That is a patriotic ghanian high commission. I wish every Nigerian could be like that.

We don't even have a team yet.
SportsRe: Nigeria (2) Vs Tunisia (2) on Sunday 6th September by deb(m): 4:08pm On Sep 01, 2009
THE POSSIBLE LINE UP
Because we nigeria really believe on 4 4 2

                                    ENYEAMA

ADEBAYO         ADELEYE         YOBO              TAIWO

OBUKE         OLOFINJANA      MIKEL           NSOFOR

                               UCHE         OSAZE
I looked at your line up and I shook my head for Nigeria with those two players in the middle of the pack, OLOFINJANA and MIKEL.
For God sake Midfield is the engine room of any team and we don't have one or do i say we have one that is yet to click? What is
happening to the abundant talents in our country. Where is Rabiu Ibrahim the natural midfield maestro?
