1. I've realized that a lot of Nigerians still need to grow up

2. The hatred of Igbo to Yoruba really shocked me. I used to think they are my friends before I joined NL

3. Realized that most SE and SS people in Nigeria are spontaneous in reaction to issues without giving much logical thought
and every other tribe that think twice before they react are cowards as far as they are concerned.

4. That Nigerians don't joke with their sexuality. Very dirty sets of people

5. Despite our tribalism we are still intelligent people

6. That a few Nigerians still believe in our country like I do

when people talk of giant. i puzzle because, giancy if u will permit me is not measure by western acceptability. fine, obama had A STOP OVER in ghana after the summit does that account for ghana being. what are the indices to measure a giant? it is there we will be able to objectively determine who the giant of africa is.

below index can be used temporarily:

1. GDP
2. POPULATION
3.ECONOMY SIZE
4. EXPORT QUANTITY
5. MILITARY STRENGTH

let stop at that for now and put all the significant and relevant African nations side by side. then we will put ghana where it belong
Tell them o!

Business › Re: Starting a Business (For The Entrepreneurs) by deb(m): 2:34pm On Jul 23, 2009
Lack of enough knowledge is the bane of most aspiring entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
A technician wakes up one day and thinks his technical skill is enough for him to run his own business.
He starts the business and he has no system in place, he is the secretary, the manager, the marketer, the accountant
the technician and everything.

A Technician, because he is good at what he does, he gets a lot of customers and soon they become too many for him to handle.
Mistakes begin to occur day in day out and the customers begin to complain before long they take their business elsewhere and before
you know what the business is only managing to survive. Eventually it collapses.

What is all my story trying to paint here? LACK OF SYSTEM. A business that lack system cannot run in the absence of the owner and
when a business cannot run effectively in the absence of the owner then the owner only has a job, he is not an entrepreneur and the
business will eventually fail.

I will give you a simple example; Dangote does not go to the factory to make cement yet he produces and sells cement

Politics › Re: OPC Vows To Destroy Every Mend Member In Nigeria - This Is About Time. by deb(m): 12:50pm On Jul 23, 2009
I can now see why the Niger Delta people are suffering, they lack the correct ability to think, dialogue, discuss, hence they result into violence, they are no intelects, they are rouges, mama and papi waters, they have replaced intellectual thinking with the use of weaponry, they have replaced militancy with thugrey, destruction and arrant nonsence. In war, it is a different ball game, then it is not going to be fighting against an harmless installation, blowing up harmless installations, it will be an eye for an eye, a leg for a leg, they will find out that it is more than hiding and bombing a few installations and calling it militancy, they will know this is arm for arm - who born egberi when yoruba ifa, opele, sango, oya, ogun, opele and all the deities dey? Dem think say na by play by play?

It is another matter carrying AK 47s and it is another matter rendering it completely useless with the power of ifa- their guns will just be oozing out water instead of amunition, in short, they will simply be spoken to, commanded and they will begin to shoot each other, let him call it ranting now, but by the time the real thing happens, his head will be a platter for OPC to sit on- who born am? Im think say na joke? Let him go to ondo state and ask what happened in 1983 - seems he forgets too soon. I can see he is afraid already, but when OPC lands on his head, shits on it, he will forget the password to his email address.
cheesy cheesy cheesy Man you just spoke my mind.
I couldn't help but laugh when I read all their posts above.

These guys don't even realize that we don't reason like them and we don't just act spontaneously to things.
That is why we will forever be ahead of them.

I have said several times on NL and I will say it again. Yoruba will never fight a war that he would not win! Take it or leave it!
Politics › Re: Atlas Cove- MEND - Go To Hell OPC and YCE by deb(m): 12:41pm On Jul 23, 2009
there is not going to be any bloodbath, yoruba people are just not into fighting.

Great number of them are cowards, you know Grin
You are so stupid. The fact that people who have a life to live and a dream to fulfill in live don't want to die does
not mean that they are cowards. They are just wise people. You low lifer!

And wait till we are pushed to the wall and see whether Yourbas are cowards or not. You obviously know nothing about
the Yoruba history or you probably think only the people in Lagos are Yorubas. Ode!
Politics › Re: Fashola Warns Mend by deb(m): 3:58pm On Jul 22, 2009

That hopeless NewsPaper house that is just struggling to survive will do anything to be.

Hissesss angry

WHEN the Osun State governorship aspirant was Minister of Aviation, he changed the face of the aviation workers and airports’ patrons. Some people even adjudged him the best aviation minister in Nigerian history.
How did he do that? By stealing more money than Rowland Iyayi?

PART of the N19.5 billion special intervention fund provided by the Obasanjo administration to tackle the rot in the aviation sector, which he met on assumption of office, was well utilised by the governor in waiting. All airports which benefited from the largesse are now of international standards.
Which of the Airports? Our rubbish Murtala Muhammed or is it the MM2 that is just a little better than MM1 but less of any international standard airport?

I don't agree with all of you.
As a matter of fact, this is the only reasonable plan that i have seen from this administration.
University education is not for everybody. Free education up to secondary school stage is enough.
If you really want to go to college, then you should have the brain for it. If you do, there are bursaries and scholarships available.
The reason we have the type of college grads that we have today is because 99% of them used EXPO to get into school.
What is the point of graduating 1 million students every year when you only have 100,000 jobs available.

If you feel you really need to go to college and you are poor and not smart enough, go get a loan.
This may seem harsh but is the best thing that will happen to the education system.
Tertiary education in Nigeria should not be FREE.
Its never been free.

Politics › Re: Fashola Warns Mend by deb(m): 12:22pm On Jul 18, 2009
Yes, we called it oil not Oyel like you.

[Yoruba achievement and success before Arab and European invasion:]
we set pace over the course of centuries. We built the first story building, the first school, the first ammunition “Basukka local guns,” the first Urbanized cities across Africa, the first and ony tribe with highest twins' or multiple birth in world history, while your people still walking around butt naked in the bush we had local woven fabric “A so o fi,” first scuptor and most superior and distinct of all African art and artifact and the strongest military built up in the whole Africa by Oranyamiyan. This Yoruba warrior had a tall staff to commemorate his lost solders during tribal wars. The staff became a prototype for National monument in Washington DC, built by USA’s military to commemorate their solders too.

[Three years’ assessment after the self-autonomy government of 1956:]
Yoruba people, the largest homogenous ethnic group in Africa, are highly urbanized. Yorubaland boasts of some of the Flourishing cities in Africa
Each of the more than 20 cities in Yorubaland has a population of over a million inhabitants. When in 1959 the British colonial government conducted a census of Nigeria, out of the ten most populous and strategic cities, eight (Cool were located in Yorubaland. These are: Lagos, lbadan, Ogbomosho, Ilorin, Oyo, Abeokuta, Oshogbo, Ijebu-Ode, Ado-Ekiti and Akure.
The Yoruba race boasts of an array of highly qualified professionals. The naked truth it is that it parades the highest number of intellectuals on the continent of Africa, a tradition bequeathed to the race by her early access to Western education. The Literacy levels in Yorubaland are above 70% while 40% of the literates are qualified professionals of diverse disciplines and professionals careers.

[Few weeks before independence’s assessment:]
Yorubas under self-regional government took a giant stride of 60% in health, education, culture, industrialization, infrastructures in the entity called Nigeria.
@@@@Irk-man00, they said somebody older than you and you said is by little? You must completely be on powder! It might just take you two millenniums to get to where he's at! Just proof me wrong on this fact!
You forgot to mention that the first TV station in west africa was started by Yoruba.

Men are goal oriented and getting a woman is no different. Once that is achieved
He moves to the next agenda e.g. make more money so he could settle down.

Men need to understand that women are not wired the same way so they should learn to strike
the balance and should not expect the woman to understand that they are focusing their attention
on other areas that will make life better for both of them

I will personally make sure this messages gets to the ministry of information. This is what the whole
exercise of re-branding Nigeria is all about not the interpretation some negative minded Nigerians are trying to give to it.
