Too much of inhumane beatings at Ile kewu (Madrasah), that's why many of their students become more stubborn.

Few days ago, two seniors at Madrasah saw a junior of them riding bike like the touts do. The two just looked for canes around & waited by the road side for him to return. When he got close, they whipped him so hard that he nearly lost control on the road. We wondered what they would say if the immediate punishment had led to a fatal accident.

This is how they train and breed hardened and merciless 'graduates' that would later become boko haram and bandits. By then, human life and dignity would have become like a cow waste in their consideration

The govt steps are all geared towards sweeping the case under the carpet thereby shielding the sch and the perpetrators of the dastardly act from prosecution. Why did they choose to set up the needless panel? Is it to find out whether the students were actually brutally flogged or not, or to find out if they caused bodily harm and injuries on the students? Besides, if it was destined to crash even in the hands of a hired certified pilot, it would still have happened. The unfortunate thing in Nigerian politics is the collapse of party supremacy and manifestos. In the olden days, the parties ruled with their internal mechanisms and well drawn-out manifestos which must be adhered to by all governors ruling under each party...and the plans were peculiar and party specific.
Sadly, these days, moneybags rule the party with no clearcut agenda or manifestos. In saner climes, and when political parties superintended on members, no matter how rich anyone was, someone like Adeleke can not contest even for local government council chairmanship election.
I am neither a fan of Oyetola nor his APC, but granting Adeleke the governorship ticket in any party is an insult on the collective sensibilities of the Osun people.
