Pedro JP: Detects of our world do not allow for absolutes. So no principle assures perfect relationship. Women are not programmed and can't work as if programmed.
And who told you that? Women have a master-code that makes them easy to handle. The code is A.L.P.H.A-M.A.L.E. It's what i deploy on my girls and it's still working.

I'm still on my knee begging her that never will I repeat such attitude again but she had not forgiven me. I felt bad thinking that had I know, I shouldn't have said that... Honestly because of this, I had a sleepless night. sad

Guys...make money and be financially strong! Then anything you say to a woman would be sweet music to her ears...even if you introduce her as "your biatch".

I don't know about other schs but my alma-mata (UNIZIK) pulled out of ASUU around 2002 during that 9month strike back then. From that time till now, no strike from ASUU has ever affected them. The only downside was that our sch fees increased with over 150% rate and there was a demonstration.
Take a chill pill ... I think a lot of folks who commented on the thread are being sarcastic
In my humble opinion, i don't think so. I have come across a lot of people I̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ the course of my carrier as an IT expert who hold this view about computer viruses very seriously.
Let me give you an example of an experience i once had from a client. He is a lawyer and his son's mini laptop had a problem which he summoned me to his house to fix. After diagnosing the system, i discovered that it had some registry problems which made the system very slow and it was infected with some viruses. I first of all disinfected the system using AVG and then cleared the registry.
After doing that, the unresponsive laptop picked up and started working as good as new which i called the man's attention to and he confirmed it.
We were in the living room and his son who is about 12yrs old was at the dining eating his dinner. You won't believe that when this boy came to inspect what i did on his laptop with his "soup-stained" hand, his dad roared at him that he should go wash his hands BEFORE COMING CLOSE TO THE COMPUTER OR ELSE HE WOULD TRANSFER LOADS OF VIRUSES into the laptop via his unwashed hands grin This is coming from someone who was a one-time commissioner for justice in his state of origin! shocked
I almost choked with laughter that day grin grin

Nigerians and their yeye mentality. See everyone shouting about the guy bringing out another "incurable disease". My experience in ICT tells me otherwise... The guy put some malicious code in a chip and injected the chip into himself. It will have no effect whatsoever on him or anyone he comes in contact with (physically or sexually). This is because computer viruses are made up of various mark-up languages that affect only targeted operating systems on a device (computer or mobile) depending on which one. Computer viruses have no RNA or DNA that can have any effect on the human metabolism.
It's just like getting a drop of blood from a HIV infected person and drop it on a USB flash, plug it into a computer and then say the computer is now infected with HIV! That would be laughable!! Because HIV thrives only in the blood-stream of humans and some other animals and not in a Windows Operating System.
Abeg ignorance is a disease itself.

Family › Re: Security Tips For Ladies. by Decryptor(m):
smoosh15: 1) What should a woman do if she finds herself alone in the company of a strange male as she prepares to enter a lift in a high-rise apartment late at night?

Experts Say: Enter the lift. If you need to reach the 13th floor, press all the buttons up to your destination. No one will dare attack you in a lift that stops on every floor.

What if it is an apartment where the floors are usually isolated? By then, the evil deed would have been done. Secondly, lifts and elevators can be stopped midway.

2) What to do if a stranger tries to attack you when you are alone in your house, run into the kitchen.

Experts Say: You alone know where the chili powder and turmeric are kept. And where the knives and plates are. All these can be turned into deadly weapons. If nothing else, start throwing plates and utensils all over.

Let them break. Scream. Remember that noise is the greatest enemy of a molester. He does not want to be caught.

What if the house is in the middle of nowhere or he has a loaded gun and shoots out of panic...in the case of the latter, i'd advice the lady to keep her calm and co-operate

3} Taking an Auto or Taxi at Night.

Experts Say: Before getting into an auto at night, note down its registration number. Then use the mobile to call your family or friend and pass on the details to them in the language the driver understands .Even if no one answers your call, pretend you are in a conversation. The driver now knows someone has his details and he will be in serious trouble if anything goes wrong. He is now bound to take you home safe and sound. A potential attacker is now your de facto protector!

Good idea but not really brilliant...the license plate number of a vehicle can be swapped or changed. The only fool-proof logic is to have access to his driver's license which is not realistic at this point

4}What if the driver turns into a street he is not supposed to – and you feel you are entering a danger zone?

Experts Say: Use the handle of your purse or your stole (dupatta) to wrap around his neck and pull him back. Within seconds, he will feel choked and helpless. In case you don’t have a purse or stole just pull him back by his collar. The top button of his shirt would then do the same trick.

Still not a good idea especially when he is doing over 60mph/100kmph. The vehicle could lose control and topple over which might result in the loss of your life and the driver and this particular feat is only possible when you are at the back. Criminals usually think about counter situations before carrying out their crime...in this particular case, the driver will definitely not be alone.

5} If you are stalked at night.

Expert Say: enter a shop or a house and explain your predicament. If it is night and shops are not open, go inside an ATM box. ATM centers always have security guards. They are also monitored by close circuit television.
Fearing identification, no one will dare attack you.

Entering a house: The occupants of the said house are also security conscious. They might pay a deaf ear to your alerts. I for one would not open my door for someone i know is being stalked by a possible killer. I'd rather call the police from inside my house.
ATM: A much better idea only if the stalker is aware that ATM have hidden cameras that can take his picture which many people in this part of the world are hardly aware of. The most safer part is if there is an "armed" security guard at the ATM post too.

After all, being mentally alert is the greatest weapon you can ever have.

Please spread it to all those women u care & spread awareness as dis is d least we can do for a social & moral cause and fr d safety of women.

Bottom-line...never pray to find yourself in any of the aforementioned situations cos some others before you did same but did not live to tell the story. God is the ultimate protector!
