And what is occultic and satanic about NDE? Someone almost dies and comes back to his body and recounts his experience and some religious bigots say it's demonic? I might subscribe to some OBEs as demonic esp when it is has some occultic undertone but not NDEs!

aniiii: Are you implying that nigerian ladies are prostitutes??

Surely, Nigerian relationships are not wholly based on monetary value.

Is this not the case?
Stop deceiving urself girl! Nigerian relationships these days are on a basis of demand and supply. The ability to get needs and wants met and catered for! For the ladies, it's all about money, money and more money! For the guys, it's S3x, s3x and more s3x
Nairaland General › Re: Made In Nigeria, English by Decryptor(m): 6:06am On Jul 09, 2013
If i have noticed anything about the Nigerian English, it is the fact that it has evolved seriously overtime! There is this latest trend in english which has taken it's toll on the mouths of almost every Nigerian today both rich and poor, literate and non-literate when speaking english...which is the use of the word "THEN". Though it's unintentional but it has really gone viral. Let me state an example:
"I called my lecturer to ask him about my project, he then said i should see him in his office. I then woke up very early in the morning and then went to school. When i got there, he was in a meeting, he then said i should wait so i then decided to go to photocopy some materials but before i finished, my phone rang and it was my lecturer, he then said he will see me next week but i then said that i will not be able to wait till then because i'll be travelling. He then thought for a while and then said that he'll make it tomorrow, i then said Ok sir and he then hung-up and i then went home."

To say the truth, i was guilty of it before until i became conscious and "then" stopped...opps lipsrsealed
If I may ask, do you live in Nigeria currently? While most of Nigeria is still in the doldrums, can you say it is not clear some parts and parties have made clearly significant progress than others? If you are well travelled in Nigeria, answer honestly!

However, if you put it down to the argument of "no ideology" and you are not starting your own party to proffer clear alternatives, then these kind of situations will NEVER go away and WILL NEVER get better! Do you know that the God that a lot of Nigerians shout his name all the time they do something stoopid said clearly: "WOE UNTO the PHARISEES!". Substitute the current hypocrites of Nigeria into that phrase and you will see clearly why your prayers are going nowhere! Of the pharisees, he cursed them why? He said these same people (e.g. people like the Samaritarian Zuby, the OP) will go to the end of the earth to make a proselyte and thereafter, turn him into TWICE a child of HELL. I am sure you understand English quite well, read in between the lines and you will get my drift. Again, I do not live in Nigeria and you need to be outside a system to be able to judge it very objectively. My advice? Make progress one at a time! Do you know that the mere fact that a ruling party is voted out massively and completely in a subsequent election is significant grounds for parties to begin to sit-up? However, as soon as they know that Nigerians remain fish-brained thinkers, unobjective, damaged-goods from the military, colonial and religious eras, they have no incentive to do right!

Did you not read a trending story on OJB Jezreel on NL few days ago? God knows I never knew or heard about him before until then. You saw FOO.LISH Nigerians shouting and running around for $100K. Kudos to those who helped but again, this is a VERY STUPI.D approach to solving societal or national problems! Well, so you helped 1 person, what about the 1,000 similar patients suffering exactly the same disease alone (not to mention other equally serious ailments?). Is the life of 1 person >>> than the other? It is the same reason your leaders in Nigeria think they are >>> every other Nigerian and deserve to be treated with millions of USD while ordinary Nigerians die like chicken everyday! Think about it! In a place like where I am (and yes, they are FAR from perfect humans or systems) but MONEY or FINANCE will not be A REASON WHY he will be in such unfortunate situation! There is a system that would have solved the problem LOOOONNNNGGGG before it becomes a $100 K problem or managed it much better before he had to go through so much suffering and pain. If Nigerians keep voting their PDP and retardeenic governments, the rewards of the fooli.ishness will only be their portion and it does not matter how many times you call GOD or ask that another samaritan stops to rescue a 100 injured people when a functioning system will EASILY take care of the problem while providing jobs and quality care for the citizens!
My friend stop making noise like a forest cicada insect! You are talking about having a functioning system here in Nigeria and yet you ran away to God-knows-where and telling us trash! If you want Nigeria to become what you opine, then it's not enough for you to sit down in front of your computer and typing bladderdash on your keyboard. A great Nigeria starts with you and me. If you are so burdened, leave the country where you reside whose people have fought to make their own mark and come back here. Only then can we listen to you or else, stop giving us this Martin Luther King wanna-be sermon and hold your peace. Thank you

Even as much as my mum and i usually have issues and disagree most times, it is so unthinkable and unimaginable for me to let any harm befall her in anyway. I can't even imagine raising my voice at her even though she accuses and berates me of supporting my dad over their disagreement and separation which is normal in most families (some of you here know what i'm talking about).
But for me to come here and see this kind of story sends shudders down my spine! A woman who carried you for 9 months and writhed in pains from the labor and contractions of having you, carried you in her arms, breast-fed and nursed you...yet you have the mind to terminate her life! God!!
The Devil will reject some people in hell on arrival because he'll say he's more humane and noble than they are.

django1: I just checked the history of past winners, I think u ibo ppl need education.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_Nigeria

There's been more yoruba winners.
And see the controversy that trailed the so-called yoruba winners:
In 1988, dark-skinned trainee caterer Stella
Okoye crowned her successor Wunmi
Adebowale, who was also dark, thus
breaking a long line of light-skinned winners,
yet Okoye's reign had not been without
controversy - fellow contestant Omasan Buwa
told The Punch in 2011 "In the hall that day,
there was a big uproar and they had to take her
out with police escort[s]. The audience felt she
was very dark."...OFFENCE: NONE ACTUALLY...BUT THE ATTENDIES WERE OFFENDED BY HER UGLINESS.

Miss Nigeria 1981 Tokunboh Onanuga was
dethroned after a flaw was discovered on her
WAEC certificate; this has since been confirmed
by the examination body on their Twitter
account...OFFENCE: FORGERY OF WAEC RESULT

In 1990, Binta Sukai's eligibility to compete was questioned as she was rumoured to be non-
Nigerian, until it was confirmed that the
aspiring fashion designer was only one-quarters
Scottish. Although she has been referred to as
the first Northerner to win Miss Nigeria (her
father was Fulani), this milestone was already
reached when Grace Oyelude was crowned in
1957. Oyelude was from the Northern Region,
albeit of Yoruba heritage....OFFENCE: SHE LIED

I guess you overlooked those points in the very link you posted yourself hence you are the one who needs an education. Yorubas and their controversies.

I can swear that with this kind of present, Toolz will surrender her tools "Manchester", "Arsenal"," Puzzy" and Waist to Iyanya! I know what i'm saying. In my school dayz, i saw the then Miss UNIZIK pageant of a particular academic session and swore i must have her. Patiently waited for her birthday and sent her a giant personalized card instead of those ones they sell for N30 over the counter in gifts shops and an artwork which was moulded to look exactly like her. When i entered her room and gave her the items, i told her she doesn't know me but i just came to wish her a HBD and then left. Before i approached her gate, i heard someone shouting that i should wait...she came and told me that she doesn't even know me and wonders why i had to spend good money in personalizing those items just for her (truly, i did cos i spent close to 6k for the card and artwork)...i told her straight that it was because i loved her *wink* She then requested for my number and i gave her and as she turned to leave, i grabbed her hand and blew her a powerful french kiss which lasted for about 10secs. She was shocked but smiled. The following week, she was moaning under me in my room! CONCLUSION: Women love surprises when they never expect.
