I had rather have solid tarred road with street lights from Eleme to Igwe Ocha than idiotic monorail in Igwe Ocha which Nigeria does not have technological knowhow to maintain. For example in USA, people leave and go to work everyday of the week from cities with equivalent distance from Enugu to Owerri. This is made possible by good roads, no police checkpoint, no custom checkpoint and constant visibility of highway patrol officers. In addition, there is world-class inter-state railway system. Most of the city projects embarked by certain governors in Nigeria are at best white elephant. The current noise about revenue sharing is a misguided political folly instigated by spoilers. I read an article where all the states under the financial insolvency are from northern region except Osun State from the southern region. Yet we were told the governors from northern regions are not crooks and usually have financial surplus every years. Nigeria as a country is practical joke and must come to an end by any know means. |
stop chatting that which you dont know. Honestly, this singular post of yours has turn down the integrity of all your previous post to the bearest minimum. How can you combine sheer ignorance with lies in just one post? Ehn. . . Sorry to disappoint you, Nigeria has one of the most qualified structural welders in the world with international comperatives salaries and recognition. AWS, ASME, API,CSWIP CWeng certifications are like pure water among Nigerians. In portharcourt presently, Nigerians are building the largest deep water project in the history of mankind. You can easily be seen as a big lair if you choose to continue this way. I met alot of them in Bayelsa with a world wide mouth watering salaries. Plenty of them recieve nothing less 7000 dollars/month. And again, when you speak about electricity or sketch. Do you know that there companies in Nigeria that haven't withness any blackout for the past 2 decades?? I can count many of them right away. BTW, what do mean by sketch or plan?? FYI, my company has provided detailed engineering design and services, from mere sketch to a complex 3D real simulations to many successful projects, build and commissioned by local guys. Design of ship and barges are one the simplest among mega structures, with a little complication around engine clearance and shaping the hull, which can be quickly solve with any fluid dynamic simulating packages. e.g Grasshopper. So, seek little knowlegde about happenings in naija before you spew another trash. This is not 1966! Get it over it!!!
Good to know Nigeria is one breathe away from technological explosion. Please pardon my oversight on this one. However, an efficient environment with respect to electricity does not include obscure companies generating power for in-house usage. If Nigeria has large number of local, trained and qualified wielders as well as fabricators and home grown technological knowhow as you would want us to believe, one wonders why there is no internal combustion engine or any engine at all that is made in Nigeria. I hope this nonsense you spewed here is not your usual display of misguided and youthful exuberance. I could be madder if Nigeria has attended the technological height you elucidated yet it can not manufacture a horse carriage. |
I will rather vote for a northerner than ibo !
You do not need to indulge in a fool’s play to state what is obvious. Are you not a Yoruba and grandson of Awo? |
@POST This is really funny. Is Nigerian navy going to build the frigate with wood, imported nails and hammer? Nigeria as a country does not enjoy regular supply of electricity, does not have iron and steel mill, does not have efficient and qualified wielders, does not have complementary industries for necessary parts and does not have any place where sketch plan of the ship could be drawn. |
Siena:I usually do not engage people who preach a certain standard and act in an opposite fashion. As you referenced OgidiBody’s right to express how he feels, I have the same right to express how I feel to the post. Do you not think so? Please go reread OgidiBoy’s post carefully and you will notice where OgidiBoy posed a question about apologizing to his mother. I did not say anything about trait but nonsensical reference of respect for privacy. Parents, as long as their kids live under their roof, have every right to know what their wards are doing behind closed doors. |
This is quite incorrect. Edo is last on the list of 8. Cross River is no more an oil-producing state since after ceding bakassi. Also, I think there is more oil in Abia than Imo.
Bros, my words are not gospel and I guess you know there are many factors injected into the rating of crude oil production including political expediencies such as granting credit for offshore wells which actually belonged to all Nigerians. Ukwa-South LGA is only place penciled with crude oil producing wells in Abia State while Imo State has two LGAs with highly concentrated crude oil producing wells. |
Look at the bolded portion, think about it, and then go back and re-check your figures. It is one thing to disrespect people, it is another thing to do it and still come out looking stupi'der than the person you are disrespecting. How many barrels of oil does Imo state produce in a month and I will call two oil fields offshore in any of Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa or Rivers State that produce that in a week. Stupendeous ignoramous. Just because you have crammed the dictionary and use the words in the wrong context you think it makes you smart. Try that bullshit with the local champions in backwards Imo State not here on Nairaland. I may clown but dont you fuc'king dare contest me.
You are an unintelligible hog. For once in your miserable life seemed able to detect an honest error. Please do not blow down the walls of the place of your abode for a matter of no considerable brainer. It is 45% offshore and 55% onshore all are extimated. I guess the most idiotic individual in this discussuion was the fool who disparaged Imo State on crude oil production or lack thereof. It is on record Imo State still holds the mark in history of crude oil exploration Nigeria as the first place crude oil was struck. Did you write the bolded phrase in your post above, Mr. local champion from backwater? It is true a fool does not resist the temptation to flaunt ignorance. I just pointed out that Imo State is a solid crude oil producing state and a jackass in you equated it to my state of origin, olodo. |
@ Olawalebab!! Dude! Okay! Lemme apologize for my comments, but you would agree with me that it is insulting for states like IMO State to call themselves oil producing where States like Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Akwa Ibom are talking. And to add salt to injury, they start talking and Heartland F.C. Please dont get me started on Ekiti State! ![]() As long as you can promise me that no IMO State or Ekiti State post would feature on this thread, I promise and swear on Alusi Okija to be civil.
You have proven beyond reasonable doubts that stupidity can not be cured. It is unfortunate you have chosen to incessantly flaunt ignorance on any subject deemed for discussion on this forum. Since the advent of Internet, certain knowledge is no longer a tenet of monopoly. I suggest you take a study ride to Google, it is free too. Nigeria’s crude oil production is 45% offshore and 55% onshore. The production level among states is: 1. Rivers State 2. Delta State 3. Bayelsa State 4. Akwa Ibom 5. Imo State 6. Edo State 7. Abia State 8. Ondo State 9. Cross River State; may be drastically affected with the ceding of Bakassi to Cameroon. Baring Offshore drilling and punitive boundary adjustment program aimed to cede crude oil producing areas of Igbo land to Rivers State, at least, Imo State would have ranked higher than shown. |
I do not know much detail about Nigerian judiciary system. If this is a case handled by the so-called tribunal, the case of jurisdiction does not hold water because tribunal could hold or sit at any city regardless were the alleged crime is committed. Tinubu does not need to enter the dock as the Chairperson of the tribunal has ruled because it not a case before traditional court room. The issue of jurisdiction would have arisen if the office of DPP has charged Tinubu to court. |
igbo2011:You are a drooling efulefu not Igbo. You should as well drop dead for Hausa because you are not big enough. Why is it that some Igbo kids are so avoidably stup.id? |
@OP I guess your stupidity for not listening to your parents drove you from 20 to 32 years still unmarried. Look pal, the worst blunder you will ever commit in life is to marry without the consent of your parents. You are the first son and head of the family following your parents and I do not think you would want to introduce dysfunctional element in your lineage with lady who does not understand Igbo culture and tradition. |
@OP You should go apologize to your mother for such despicable act of stupidity for ordering her out of your room because your useless manliness has not developed yet. If any woman is qualified to see you unclad, I guess it is your mother. If you fall sick suddenly to a point you could not bath yourself, who do you think will be responsible for giving you a bath? When you go to hospital for certain illness, nurses you do not know from hell will grab your silly manliness as if it is a microphone talk less your mother. I am not saying you should form a habit of exposing your unclad body to your mother or sisters but it not a big a deal if your mother or sister unknowingly bash into you while naked. It is unfortunate Africans are foolishly drowning themselves in Europeans social madness. |
A woman who is sure of her physical appearance would not be jealous of another woman. Jealous women all around. if yu cant keep your husband at home with your bonny behind, find another woman to tak care of him nau., instead of hm to wander around.
Ekiti Ikebe, I am not sure you can keep a man with your “amala booty” and “ewedu face”. The assurance of a lady’s physical appearance does not deter her man from away matches. The fatty behind of lady does not equate to keeping a husband at home. There is no doubt a physical fit woman is sexually attractive. I am not talking prettiness. |
No mind the ibo woman.when you go tell them make them no dey fat anyhow, them no go hear .now her husband is tired of her and she turns herself into a wild beast.Rubbish
Please apply a common sense to the article and do not stereotype based on your previous knowledge of Yoruba ladies and fatness. She is a slim fit Igbo lady in a top physical form hence able to deal ruthlessly with those husband snatchers in Jos, Plateau State. ![]() |
How did this bedridden miscreant named Eze Chikamnayo get to the position of Special Adviser, Information, Strategy and Orientation in Abia State? No wonder the caliber of T O Orji, a political misfit, is elected the governor of Abia State when serious people in Igbo land were bent on electing human beings. I blame the Abians for encouraging this sort of rubbish. |
Nigerians are not comedians alone but also patented jokers. Does it take a Nigerian to ascend to the position of governor of a state to realize the country named Nigeria is a living fraud along with worthless bundle of sheets of paper called constitution? |
Demdem:I guess deluded objects that navigate to this forum fanning for nonsensical respect have deleted it. I posted to the thread but they are gone too. This is one of the reasons Africa breeds despot because certain individuals could not stand dissenting views. It is an indescribable idiocy for a person to approach anonymous public arena such as Internet to seek respect. |
people like you,dede1 and afam4eva are worse than beaf.
Stop proving your ignorance with defiance. I not surprised on your attempt to aid a fellow dehydrated camel. |
Eko Ile:I have written you off as a deluded and misguided monkey. GEJ has not spent a year in office as president-elect of Nigeria yet the epistles about Yoruba marginalization in Nigeria are already running riots in political and academic quarters in southwestern Nigeria. In fact, if I may borrow your nonsensical jargon, it really sucks to be a Yoruba and have a drone as son who goes by Eko Ole, Oloshi Oloribururku. |
Eko Ile:In the same manner it sucks to be Yoruba and Oke Ole the maggot. |
It is funny some deluded persons of Igbo ancestry are bent on disassociating themselves from Igbo. Whether the dialect is Isuama, Oru, Uratta, Ngwa, Wawa, Asa, Ndoki, Ikwerre, Ubani, Aro, Abiriba, Uhuhu, Ibeku and Ibano, they are all derivatives of Igbo language. I really do not know what tickles the OP’s fancy about so-called Ika language. Let me inform the poster of the thread that the so-called Ika language is more Igbo in texture than many Igbo dialects found in certain places in Igbo land. @ agbotaen, Igbo language is centrally the same regardless the tone. Ugboko/Egboko/Ugbo/Ubi = Farm Offia/Ohia = Forest Ewuru/Eworo = Leopard Udume/Odum = Lion Ali/Ala/Ani = Land I had the opportunity to live in community/communities that comprised almost families from Igbo land that stretches from Agbor to Arochukwu and Enugwu-Ezike to Igwe Ocha/Igwe Nga/Ubani. Believe me, at first convergence, most Igbo land dialects sounds gibberish to the first listener from a distance corner of Igbo land. |
