Politics › Re: Ojukwu Would Have Ruled Nigeria —Gowon by Dede1(m): 2:23am On May 09, 2012
jp philips: now remove the bre.ast from your mouth and read that post again before you attempt the following questions;

was ojukwu the sole "dECIDING" member of the then military council whether old or newly formed to decide for them who the next head of state would be?

when the votes were cast, was the majority for or against ojukwu?

whether you think Adebayor and co's decision was unfortunate or not is your opinion only relevant when you are ontop your woman.
You are a bloody fool and I have no time to lecture a moronic troll such as you. You have shifted from supreme military council to mere military council. You should disabuse your silly mind before engage a person like me in your idiotic drivels.

There was veto power enjoyed by the members of military executive council. The opposition staged by Fajuyi over the faith of January 15, 1966 coup plotters prompted many northern officers to concluded that Fajuyi was part and parcel of the January coup.

There was no constituted meeting of military executive council after Ironsi disappeared. During the phone discussions among the members, Ojukwu insisted that in the absence of Commander in Chief, the chief of staff Supreme Military Headquarters should assume the position of commander in chief until the faith of commander in chief is known. I do not blame a moronic fool such as you to assume there was supreme military council because there was position of chief of staff supreme HQ.

jp philips: who is dis guy?

your quote in red; was ojukwu a deciding member of the supreme military council at the time to decide for Gowon and co who should be the next head of state? even if they asked for his opinion, what was the majority vote in the last meeting that produced gowon as head of state?

your quote in Green;

how does regional bifurcation and state creation stop the pogrom that tantamounted to the meeting in the first place?
In case your father was too young to tell you that ojukwu's major demand at the Aburi conference was his sought for "A CONFEDERATION" in a federation, even an imbec!le aided by a political mosquito knows that it is an act of war even amongst family members let alone a country.
now go and play with your mates, you are historically malnutrition-ed.

can someone please post the transcript of the Aburi conference for this "mofo" so that a lost sheep will enjoy some reunion
I should tell you to go back to school, olodo. There was no supreme military council when Gowon usurped the position of commander in chief. When Ironsi assumed power, he created military executive council made-up of the military governors and certain military officers. As the military governor of eastern region and sole military authority in the east after partial success of July 29, 1966 coup, Ojukwu remained the only bona fide member of the military executive council to tell Gowon that Ogundipe was 2ic to Ironsi.

It was unfortunate that officers such as Adebayo, Wey, Ejoor, Katsina and Johnson had to succumb to fear and urged Gowon to continue to thrash the rigged principle of Esprit de Corp.

If I call you and your father fools, it should be a compliment because pogrom started in northern region when Ironsi was the commander in chief. Again, if you have any brain at all, you should have known that the July 29, 1966 coup only succeeded in western and northern regions. Eastern region was absolutely out of bound to coup plotters. In fact, Gowon could not even attempt to visit Benin City, the capital of Mid-western region, during the era in discuss. The coup that brought Gowon to power was an illegal act and Ojukwu as military governor of eastern region opposed it.
Politics › Re: Ojukwu Would Have Ruled Nigeria —Gowon by Dede1(m): 7:01pm On May 08, 2012
Gowon is bloody liar and the center point of what Nigeria has become lately. Nigeria/Biafra debacle was a needless war if Gowon has accepted Ojukwu’s stance on Esprit de Corp and adherence to the strict military parlance which demand Brig Ogundipe should become the commander in chief in the absence of head of the state.

Gowon also reneged on every principles agreed during the peace mission in Aburi, Ghana. Gowon initiated the division of Nigeria into twelve (12) states while Aburi agreement upheld Nigeria shall remain in a regional mode. It was after the usurpation of power and arbitral state creation by Gowon that Ojukwu declared eastern region an independent nation.
Politics › Re: Regional Integration Will Not Solve Our Problem by Dede1(m): 6:42pm On May 08, 2012
From this interview and other political commentaries of late, it is clear Oodua Republic will turn into a beggar country if Nigeria disintegrates. In addition, the republic will be the first to start a war by attempting to grab some crude oil producing areas and will eventually get serious beat down. In the interview, the dude named Senator Iyiola Omisore kicked against the idea regional integration because the weakened center will mean saying goodbye to the “Oil Money”.
Politics › Re: 25 Years After Awo’s Death: How He Predicted Events Of Today Half A Century Ago by Dede1(m): 3:26am On May 08, 2012
Who told the moronic essayist named Ayo Adebanjo that Nigerians wanted whatever nonsensical crap Awolowo predicted? Today’s Nigerians want disintegration and my recollection informed Awo never supported or predicated disintegration rather he fought for the cesspit called Nigeria amidst the slogan “One-Nigeria”.

Few loudmouthed junkies in Nigeria will attempted to turn a Satan into an Angel.

kingoflag: Certain Politicians (and some of their uber-gullible followers) are having hard-ons thinking if Nigeria Separates they'll get all the Oil they've been aiming for all these years. . . . they forget their Ijaw neighbors have the likes of GEJ, Henry Okah, Tompolo, and Asari Dokubo.
kingofool,

You will definitely collapse into abyss worrying about crude oil one of these days. It is far better to live in separate, harmony and unity than to live in pretentious one-Nigeria.

There are many countries in the world without crude oil yet they are on top of the scale among industrialized nations.
Politics › Re: TY Danjuma - Nigeria Is On Fire by Dede1(m): 2:37pm On May 05, 2012
I honestly do not blame TY Danjuma about Ironsi’s assassination and allocation of crude oils because if a person prepares a bed for a dunce, the moronic screwball must find means to sleep on the bed. Ironsi was a fool beyond foolish. There are still large numbers of Igbo peeps that think like Ironsi as write this post. I had wished Ironsi was the only imbecilic person killed by TY Danjuma as his colleagues.

Politics › Re: Okorocha, Imo Workers On Collision Course by Dede1(m): 2:52pm On May 04, 2012
I had continued to pray for Okorocha to expedite the skewed idea of Imo State rescue. There is no doubt the reality will definitely come to light as the majority of Imoiks have started seeing through the cloud. If what is good for geese is also good for gender, what stops federal government from constitute 11/2 (one and half) – tier government before second-tier? The federal government should institute State Community Government Council, staffed with federal government bureaucrats and tasked to deal with State governments.

It is funny nobody, not even the justice department, has called this out-of-control governor of Imo State to order. I thought Nigeria is guided by the tenants of democracy yet this joker called Okoroch is allowed to rubbish the constitution of Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Okorocha, The Magician by Dede1(m): 1:13pm On May 04, 2012
I have my fuss with certain political shenanigans Okorocha has pulled in Imo State. However, I must admit that one of must important political display any politician of Igbo extraction has ever done to gladden the hearts of Ndigbo, dead or alive, is the political master stroke he uncovered in Kosovo by speaking in Igbo language.

Beneath the fanfare that surrounds the Okorocha’s visit to Kosovo, the act of speaking in Igbo language underscores the need for nation state out of the cesspit called Nigeria so that people will realize besides English, French and Chinese there is Igbo.

Car Talk › Re: Made In Nigerian Buses Finally Hit Lagos Road. by Dede1(m): 7:27pm On May 03, 2012
Mmuo Okija: Innoson busses are not made in Nigeria but assembled in Nigeria.

Patronizing them is no different from patronizing Peugeot (assembled in Nigeria by PAN)), Volkswagen (assemnled in Nigeria by VON) or even Anambra State Motor Manufacturing Company (ANAMMCO).

All they do is reduce the production cost by assemblinghere in Nigeria at a cheaper rate and sell them at international price and make us pay.

I would rather buy imported Marcopolo Busses from Germany that are guaranteed and full optioned and assembled under the strictest quality control conditions than buy a car assembled in nigeria where chances are the job was badly done and could cost me my life.

#justsaying
You do not need to be honest in your assessment of INNOSON Motors whether they are assembled or manufactured in Nigeria but you have to accept your ignorance. Anyway, there is no automotive manufacturing outfit that produces every part required to build a vehicle not even GM or Toyota or VW. Even if they have the capability to do so, it is more economically to source out certain components.

Again, you showed such flagrance display of ignorance when you cited Marcopolo Busses as built in Germany. In fact, Marcopolo Busses are manufactured in Brazil. When you have chance to research, you could find that most Interstate buses and trucks, even though manufactured by one brand outfit, could be fitted with different engines from assorted manufacturers.
Politics › Re: Genesis Of Boko Haram: by Dede1(m): 4:33pm On May 03, 2012
Do not pay any mind to the above conjectural thread on genesis of Boko Haram. Nigeria national security adviser and one of most decorated army officers Nigeria has even produced as in Azazi has announced that PDP is Boko Haram and Boko Haram is PDP.

From the interview, a moronic halfwit could easily discern the Boko Haram has been in existence befor G-34 was conceived. Yet Azazi equated Boko Haram to PDP. What a loser.

According one Captain Tolofari who had referred to must army officers in Nigeria army as butt lickers, I am quite sure that Azazi is one of such officers
Politics › Re: Okorocha, The Magician by Dede1(m):
Abagworo: Dede mbukwam diali o! I'm from Imo and know how Owerri was last year. Even the State secretariat is seriously undergoing re-construction. I saw a new highway near Imo hotels. Modotel now looks magnificent. I saw several new estates @ both new Owerri area and Egbeada. Everywhere was perfectly clean and I saw uniformed people trimming the flowers. Imo is working. My visit to Oguta or Orlu anytime soon will give some hints on his performance in rural areas.
Here we go again with feel-happy and misguided praises of Okorocha. Modotel hotel is a private entity and has nothing to do with Okorocha as governor. There is no new construction of highway initiated by Okorocha. For the past eight months since Okorocha assumed the office as governor of Imo State, the clearing of Owerri ring road extension opposition F.U Anyawu Steel Industry has not progressed beyond 25 yards.

As of the continuation of work on the State secretariat, Imo State contractual agreement with contractors does not terminate when a new governor is sworn-in. We need to behave like individuals with well organized social orders by subjecting our leaders to constructive criticism. I will want Okorocha to succeed as governor of Imo State but will not close my eyes at his shortfalls.

Ekiti Ikebe aka (Ileke- IdI) must extricate herself form the hairsplitting indictment of Ekiti ladies by Okija deity.

I must add that the hospitality in Ado-Ekiti is second to none. As in difference to the case of Okija-juju, Sharp Sharp Hotel was not functional during my last visit to Ekiti.
Politics › Re: Okorocha, The Magician by Dede1(m):
Abagworo: Visited Imo and was impressed. Very impressed but the quality of work is funny when compared with Rivers. New housing estates have sprung up everywhere and new roads are under construction. The people look happy and I think that's the most important thing.
This pattern of observation is one of the major reasons Nigeria will even remain retrogressive in nature. Are you insinuating the housing estates started by Mbakwe regime to Ohakim’s should be credited to Okorocha? Since six or eight months of Okorocha,s administration, there is no new housing estate in Imo State. Nobody should knock Okorocha for failure to start housing estate for the sake of it but created should not be given Okorocha on the hard work of former governors of Imo State.

@POST

This is one of the reasons certain moronic gypsies in Nigeria would want to go to war on hearing of disintegration of Nigeria. They will also take the lead as to gleefully narrate the number of their kinsmen that made the so-called Forbes billionaire list from Africa. I seriously do not blame both the loudmouths and the evil doers in Nigeria because the certain mor0ns from former eastern region of Nigeria aided the criminal assault on crude oil and its industry by outsiders to the eastern region of Nigeria.

dexmond: They are not attacking tribes but CHRISTIANS, Islam hates Christians and Jews.

Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."

Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

Quran (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!"

Muslim (1:33) - the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah
Nigeria is one of the most useless countries in the world and the inhabitants are not far behind it. If the professors killed during BUK attack were Igbo, the above post would have stated Boko Haram are killing Ndigbo instead of the copout such as “They are not attacking tribes but CHRISTIANS, Islam hates Christians and Jews”.

When Igbo are killed in the senseless attacks by the Boko Haram in northern region, the caption reads Hausa/Fulani/Kaunri and Muslims in the north are slaughtering Ndigbo. However, when the number of deaths from the same idiotic attack by Boko Haram seemed to come from tribes other than Igbo, then the attacks are not targeted at tribes but Christians.

shymmex: How can you break the country into pieces without another civil war?
The problem in Nigeria rests with people such as you and your ilk who would want to go to war because certain groups of people do not want to share this same nationality with you.

For the sake of this stupid debate, give me one humanistic reason why a knucklehead such as you would want to initiate a war because Ndigbo do not want to share nationality with your dumbass folks.

If Ndigbo want to erect Republic of Igbo land, it is their freaking business and the same goes to Yoruba with Republic of Oodua or Islamic Republic of Sokoto with Fulani or Central Republic of Middle Belt with Tiv and its group or Islamic Republic of Arewa.

I do not give a slightest of fig if Ogoni agitate Republic of Ogoni land. Why certain foolish and moronic Nigerians are afraid of sudden or gradual disintegration of damnable country?
Politics › Re: Roadmap To A New Nigeria - And The New Regional Governments by Dede1(m): 9:35pm On Apr 28, 2012
All these talks of regionalism and federalism as new road to new Nigeria are absolute hogwash. Anything short of disintegration which will give rise to nation states based strictly on ethnicity and affinity as well as mutual agreement to stick together as a country is a waste of human endeavor.

Nigeria must disintegrate so that each group can chart its destiny. I do not want a central government which will still represent and look like Nigeria of the old.

manny4life: Brother, I do realize that you have unclear issues with the model when it comes to Nigeria, but it doesn't negate the fact that it exist. Just to correct your notion, majority of large ocean-liners and newer models(Ultra and super ultra large Container carriers, Panamax and Post Panamax carriers etc) that carry huge amount of containers do carry on-board cranes so that that they can accept feeder vessels containers from theirs and vice versa. Look into these vessels and research it, you will see that they DO NOT depend on terminal cranes to unload, now it doesn't mean terminal cranes can't unload from them, it just means it's doubles the speed of unloading. If two/three cranes are designated to unload from that ship coupled with two/three more cranes on board, you have more 4/6 cranes doing the job faster.

I mean doesn't it make more sense that large vessels have their own cranes to unload and speed up process, rather than depend on terminal cranes, after all, it's not the only ship that's berthing at the port. If a company s gonna spend three digits (millions of $$$) to purchase a ocean vessel liner, don't it make sense to fully equip it? The operation may seem complex to the average person, but in reality, such systems have been tried and tested. Large vessels perform these "calculated task" you call risky.

I don't know about bulk carriers and their transfers since bulk carriers have storage like silos, I doubt they do transfer, however, what I was emphasizing about is Containers Vessels NOT break-bulk or bulk carriers (that carry rice, sugar, cement, etc). However, there are carriers (Wet Cargo - Chemical, Crude Oil ) that discharge directly at sea. I'm not denying that it's a menace, but how can there be menace of pirates when you have on-board private security? Besides, piracy has always been a menace and the maritime industry know how to avoid them. I know nothing of Maritime security, but I do know large container carriers hire private security personnel for their large carriers.
Bros, I heeded to your advice and found that container ships with onboard cranes were old ships that were, in fact, used for high sea transfer of containers. The new ships do not have onboard cranes. In fact, one article suggested the cranes were removed to provide additional container space on the ship.

I am not oblivious to the fact container ships had onboard cranes but seriously doubted the high sea transfer operation with respect to Nigeria.
