shymmex: And you said you're not a PDP guy.

Why can't you mind your darn business, and focus on your state - where power continues to change hands from thieves to armed robbers. Ibori is locked in Belmarsh Prison, out here in London - go pay him a visit, and leave Osun state alone. Your lame duck president hasn't done a SINGLE THING since he was sworn in - yet the only thing you eat, drink, and sleep is Aregbesola. Mind your business and focus on your state.
Shut up Master Detribalized. It has been so nice to watch your mockery of detribalization. No wonder scallywags such as you would twist out of human form on the hearing of disintegration of Nigeria.

Nigeria is what it has been and will remain so, a basket of tribal bigots. I do not play lip service to certain things and the case of Nigeria is one of them.

Southeastern region has been in existence ever before Abuja was conceived and remains one of the bedrocks of Nigeria’s survival instincts yet it was plausible to build a world’s class and functional international airport in Abuja instead of the region.

My stand on Nigeria is not born out of tribalism but the need to give progressives a chance.

Callotti: Only 5 ministries should be allowed,
1.Finance
2.Education
3.Health
4.Defence
5.Transportation.

The rest should be privatized(State regulated ONLY). . . INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION AND AVIATION!!!
No ministry of Justice either! The minstries of almajiri youths and elders. . .and the ministries of 'ashawo womens' affairs' are the biggest jokes!
Junkyard woman, you would not know when you shoot out your honey pot. You want to keep ministry of transportation yet you still want to privatize it. I am not surprise at you though.

D sage: As we're all aware that, govt is spendind heavily on itself rather than implementing the major policies that could be of benefit to the masses.I dont need to explain further because most of you political analysts on this forum, knows what i was talking about. On that basis should the following useless ministries be cancel to reduced high cost of govt.

1.ministry of state for FCT.
2.ministry of state for defence.
3.ministry of interiors.
4.ministry of special duties.
5.ministry of youth&soc devlp.
6.ministry of state for finance.

And the follwn non-functioning ministries.
1.ministry of women affairs.
2.ministry of commerce.
3.ministry of science&technology.
4.ministry of solid miniral&nat resource.

Or is there any other means to reduced money spending on these ministries or to make them more efficient and delivered in performing their duties.
There is no such as thing as Ministry of State .However I should support the stay of the following ministries:

1. Finance
2. Education
3. Health
4. Defense
5. Transportation
6. Foreign Affairs
7. Agriculture
8. Commerce
9. Interiors.

What the hell is wrong with a moronic dingbat such as you with the comment? I was only intimating with a tongue in the cheek response about the hype of the World Bank Assignment.

Just like Ojukwu failed to get a senate seat in his own homestead. You never support yourselves. Forget all these online bragadacio.

Yes, Igbos shoot down their own rising stars because THEY ONLY UNITE when it has to do with a foreign assignment like the World Bank.
Can she run for any office in the East and be supported by the SE-XIST Okongwus there? Heck no!
Look at Dora Akunyili. How far did she go? Did the Ngige Mafioso not shoot her down? Charles Soludo nko?
The list is endless. That is my point.
You have shown your inherent ignorance in public once again. Did you ask your silly self if what is good for Nigeria is equally good for Ndigbo with respect to your drivel? I guess you forgot Okada riders might have guns too. Now, it becomes a matter of who is the best shot. When everybody is perceived to be packing a gun, it creates an unseen equilibrium. In USA, a policeman will always approach suspected law breaker with caution even if it is a minor traffic incident.

If Nigerians really want to engage in democracy, they must observe every bit of democratic nuances.

I do not have issues with your bitterly denunciatory demeanor towards Ikemba of Nnewi but your contemptuous display in embracing fallacies spurned by moronic loudmouths who would not like to see Biafra in their dreams.

Forget Ojukwu for a moment and think of yourself as a true Nigerian. I would want you to untangle the silly illogicality you wrapped around Gowon when you said “Gowon: Yes sir! I defended his actions of defending the unity of Nigeria by crushing the uprising that threatened the unity of Nigeria. I'm defending his actions from a constitutional stand point.”

May I ask you what the freaking constitutional stand point when Gowon was a usurper? Gowon claimed he was not a member of soldiers who planed the failed coup of July 29, 1967 yet he would not abide by provision of Nigerian constitution under armed forces act. In the other hand, Ojukwu insisted on the military parlance and armed force act which dictated the doctrine of seniority.

The single action of Gowon in the usurpation of power in 1966 had continued to torment Nigeria till today.

D1KeleVra: I really don't think it sucks that it's not legal to own a firearm. I think Nigeria and Nigerians are still growing and learning. As you can see from the daily hustle and bustle attitude our people, coupled with impatience and the "do-you-know-who-I-am" syndrome, people would be shooting each other like it was legal to do so. Someone has a very bad day at work + probably trying to deal with the frustration of impotence grin grin uhm. . . gets his car scratched by a danfo, he might get all trigger-happy.

Like I said we are still learning, it's not very long ago that Nigerians started wearing their seat belts willingly, without thinking of LASTMA. A few years ago this wasn't the case. Also the same with littering (throwing trash out your car windows) . Not to say people are still not doing these, but we are still learning not only what is right, but what is reasonable.

Legalising firearms at this level of our development, to me, is not advisable. I might not be right but that's my view, maybe not the intention of the Law Makers. Altho there's the need for solutions to self protection. I have been thinking of how to legally get a hold tasers for this purpose.
Before Nigeria/Biafra civil war, law-abiding Nigerians were allowed to own gun and freely go to hunt. But since after the civil war, the cabals due to the fear of being ignominiously booted out of office by the angry crowd slammed gun ban on the society and gave petty thieves the leeway to be real bad.

There's actually a way for an ordinary citizen to obtain license for guns. In the snipped attachment below, the 1990 constitution states that individuals can own fire arms if granted a license by the President or the Inspector General of Police.
Please could you give more facts on the section of Nigeria 1999 constitution about owing a gun? I know a person can own a shotgun of any type but handgun.

[quote author=Okija_juju]Dude

For the very first time I am disappointed in your post.

I'm typing from my phone so it is rather difficult to fully reply your post but I will give it my best shot.

Gowon: Yes sir! I defended his actions of defending the unity of Nigeria by crushing the uprising that threatened the unity of Nigeria. I'm defending his actions from a constitutional stand point. If the same happens today, Jonathan is expected to do the same. Now to the pogrom which trust me, I have first hand accounts from men who escaped death by whiskers at the hands of SOLDIERS (yes! Actual Nigerian soldiers and not just fulani herdsmen). I studied the history of the events that led to the pogrom and I'm afraid I also took away sentiments, tried to understand the polity at that time (taking into account the general mentality of the Northerners, illiteracy and also the influence of Islam) and I was faced with a really tricky situation.
Now from several accounts of the Nzegwu coup, all publications and articles keep repeating the phrase 'Igbo coup'. Now this belief was fuelled and rightly so I might add by the fact that the principals in that coup were Igbos and also by the fact that most of the casualties of that coup were from other ethnic groups. In fact, it is also rumoured that the only igbo casualty in that coup was killed because of reasons other than the fact that he was actually a threat to the success of the coup. Now taking this into consideration and the instalment of Ironsi as Head of State, and also the fact that Ironsi failed to court marshall the coup plotters, this must definitely had left a lot of bad blood in the hearts of the Northerners (civilians and soldiers alike). Now this fact is evident in the counter coup that ousted barely 200 days after he became head of State. A coup organized by 'Junior Northern Army Officers'. Now fast-forward to the pogrom. This is where the mentality, illiteracy and the influence of Islam comes into play. The Pogrom was nothing short of vengeance for the Nzegwu coup. Now judging that the killings were perpetuated by not just civilians but also soldiers, Gowon must have had a lot to deal with, This is not me saying its ok to kill anyone for any reason, or distancing Gowon from the pogrom, I'm just looking at the avaliable facts from a distance. I don't know what challenges Gowon faced then as to how to handle the pogrom especially since the Army which he would have used to quell the situation were actuaLLy a part of it (if not even the originators).

Aburi:: Now this was the best thing to happen to Nigeria. Its no surprised that Aburi failed. I mean this was the 60's, Oil had just been discovered at Oloibiri and more where being discovered. There was no way the ARMY (emphasis on army) would have allowed for an independent state type system of government. That would limit their powers and access to lootable funds. In my little opinion, I honestly believe Aburi failed due to the greed of the powers that be (esp. The North and maybe the West as well), Once again my opinion, But then, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that the west also got screwed on the Aburi deal. I guess the East felt they would have benefited the most due to the Niger Delta oil deposits in our part of the region!! Hmm. O well, That's just a brief summary of my opinions on why Aburi failed (again I stress 'my opinion, not LAW or FACT).

Asaba Massacre: Let me pray we are both referring to the same thing and point out that in war, shi't happens. It was war. If the war had never started, the army (northerners) would never have stepped a foot into the eastern region and carried out such a dastardly act. Once more let me say that I do not support the killing, but when it is war time, there are no rules, no 'you can't do that one' or 'that one no follow'. Its war! Crazy, lunatic, heartless Northerners were the ones sent to quell the uprising. The same niggers who were killing us up North. Dude, I'm sure you didn't expect them to come and put their prisoners in cuffs. Even if the government had given them a 'shoot only if shot at' order, they would kill every and anything that moves. And I'm still not saying its o.k, but atleast Gowon apologised for the atrocities committed by the Nigerian soldiers during the war (wether he meant it or not na another matter). Please show me one documented account of Ojukwu apologizing to the East for bailing on us when we needed him most! When the true test of his courage and loyalty to the biafran cause was put to tHe test, it failed (this is the undiluted brutal truth)

Starving the children of Biafra; once more sir, it was war. War! WAR!! Do you understand the concept of war!! Plus I read in several books that the Nigerian soldiers only started blocking food aid to the east on suspicion that arms and ammunitions were being smuggled in as well by the same planes bringing in the food. I also have read reports that pointed to the fact that even the little food that managed to get into the region were on the orders of 'our General' sent to the soldiers on the frontline and not to the shelters.

Jeez!! 'Nigerians delibrately targeting civillians. . ." Once more sir, you need to take into account the factors I pointed to earlier, and put it in the heart of every northern soldier in war and tell me if you expected a "UN peace-keeping style" conflict or even an 'American Marines' style conflict, where they target only combatants. War crimes were commtited no doubt, but it was war. I have seen report of the nasty things Biafran fighters did to captured Nigerian soldiers as well, this pendulum swings both ways sir, but the vanquished sides story always attract more sympathy. The Pogrom, if we decided to act like cowards would never have achieved up to 200,000 kills. The moment we put ourselves in a conflict situation, we opened the door to a pogrom aka war of genocidal proportions which is exactly what happened.

Biafra: Sir when I say forget Biafra, I'm talking to the hard liners who keep holding onto the belief with such zeal they wouldn't hesitate to throw us into a war situation at the slightest provocation should they have the chance or be in a position to take us to war. I'm talking of those who feel that the only way out of the ditch that we Igbos currently find ourselves in is a split along ethnic lines. I'm talking to those who still feel its their lifes calling to avenge Biafra. I'm talking to the Biafran zionists. Stop misconstruing my comments.

Who am I?! What pedigree do I have?! Hmmm! Nna I am honest to God, a nobody. If I were, trust me, you would have read about me in the papers. I would have probably been cursed by an assembly of elders, Chiefs, youths, native doctors and what have you of eastern decent, because the same thing I say here, I'll say anywhere you find me. BUT then again, who are these men you listen to that you feel are bigger and better than I am?! Who are these somebodies that you and your likes have listened to since before 1960 that have with all their supposed widom and somebodiness (whatever that means) have failed to get us to this promise land?! Even Moses got the Isrealites to their destination in 40 years even with many wars and casualties. So we declared independence due to a pogrom, since 1967, there have been over 10 pogroms in which easterners have been specifically targeted and killed, I wonder why we haven't declared independence again?! Nwokem, I am nobody, but at least I am not a Coward. Most of the people who died in the civil war were nobodies. These nobodies were the ones who stood at the frontlines and fought to defend the Biafra that your 'somebodies' didn't consider worthy to lay down their lives for. The nobodies like me where going about their businesses oblivious to the politicking of the people you feel are 'somebodies' until they dragged them into a war without proper training, strategy or arms. The nobodies are worthy of death, the somebodies are worthy of life. Forget the nobodies, their voices are not to be heard, they are not worth immortalizing, the somebodies who skipped town are the ones worth having a 7-day public holiday for, flying the flag at half mast, building a Park for. Abi!! Once more sir, I'm nobody to you, but you as well as other pro-biafrans are nobodys to me. Not becos we do not agree on issues, but because indeed y'all are nobodies to me. You don't feed nor clothe me. Get it!!

Proverbial crab mentality:: Erm! Pull down Ojukwu you said?! I laugh in Nnewi. All I did was the same thing you and many others like you did. Shout out your opinions! Your lot said "fly flag at half mast", I and my type say "No! He fought against the flag so he dosent deserve it". Your lot say "he is a hero", my group say "he is a coward". You say he (Ojukwu) is a symbol, I agree absolutely. Like the chart boards psychiatrists hold up during psych evaluations and ask 'what do you see?', you see hero, I see coward. You say I'm divisive , I say you are narrow minded and headstrong because in all honesty, I'm advocating we deviate from the old line of reasoning that has achieved nothing but bickering and shouts of oppression and marginalisation and opt for a new line of attack. You say I have a 'better than thou' attitude, but look at you here holding onto your beliefs and tagging me an anathema because I hold a different idea from yours and many like you. In a land of like-minds, innovation suffers.

"The bastard son that point at his fathers house with his left hand!!?" That adage only applies to good fathers that can die to protect their children, not to cowardly fathers that lead their children to the slaughter house and dessert them. Get it!!

Eze Ndi Igbo of Nairaland: I'm now convinced from your last post that you have lost the plot entirely. This is all fun and games. I have enjoyed every second of the shenanigans we all have exhibited here. If you think for one second that I actually gave a Bleep about our banters here on this thread, then I say you need to grow a sense of humour and get to understand my online personality. "Igbo enwero eze", that's something you'll need to remember in the future. I'm still here purely for entertainment value and to throw in a twist to the entire thread. Don't take this personally my brother, its all fun and games. That's actually all that is. I hope to one day serve in the capacity of a leader of people. Someday, whenever that day comes, I wouldn't want to lead a group of people who feel any opposition or ideas contrary to theirs is a taboo.

On a closing note, the one thing that stood out of your post was the 'all that ojukwu achieved' line. I have always pleaded for someone to point out these achievements to me and tell me how these achievements has bettered our lot as a people (the Igbos that is).

No bad blood between us hommes, this is just a debate. We are simply exchanging ideas. That's all it is to me.

Goodluck!

P.S: typing on a mobile phone no be beans. My fingers don dislocate. #phew!!

I had an account before this on Nairaland that was banned because during one of those riots in the north that killed igbos, I suggested that for every one igbo killed up north, w0 northerners should be killed down south. violent: This information is NOT factually correct! US military actually does have a very strict process for individual possession of side arms.

Ordinarily, a military officer in the US may buy and own a firearm like any other civilian, but you can't carry this with you everywhere you go. As a matter of fact, you will be arrested if you are caught carrying a personal side arm in a US barrack without the approval of a provost marshal. In combat zones or during special operations, a few US officials, mostly medics are allowed to carry registered firearms that must be returned to the arms room after operations.

Neither the US nor its embassies will put up an official excuse for this dude; as a matter of fact, if the US military requires him to carry a side arm while in his hometown -- a situation that is very unlikely except if he was there on special assignments--- the US would have obtained approval from the Nigerian government. Nigeria is a sovereign country with its own constitution!

All that said, I'm still looking around for information on how one may obtain license to carry arms in Nigeria, if anybody has this, it will be very helpful
Thanks very much for the above write-up. It is very rare to read accurate information from NL without undue influence of tribal bias. However, I guess Nigeria government is very silly with its ban on public possession of firearm. How about the law, Section 4 of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provisions) Act, Cap. R11, Vol. 14, Laws of the Federation, 2004? It sucks because every firearm case does not necessarily relate to robbery.

shymmex: Can you accept a "civil disintegration" where every tribe in Nigeria would declare their own republics? You and I know that's unacceptable. The 3,000strong olukunmis in Anioma can say they don't to live in a Biafra republic - and they want their own country - will ndigbos allow that? Will the North allow all the small clans in Adamawa declare their own republics? - or will Yorubas allow the Baribas declare their own republic? how about the Igbankes in Edo and the Apoi Ijaw in Ondo?

You keep thinking Igbos would defeat the Yorubas in a full blown war - and that's not war strategists do. Personally, I don't think any tribe in Africa can't defeat the Yorubas in full blown war - not even the Arabs (I may be sentimental because I'm Yoruba). I have studied Yoruba history, and I know we go in - when decide to fight.

And I also personally don't think, Northerners would have defeated Biafra without the Yorubas. I have heard stories enough stories from my pops, and his late brother - who both fought in the Biafra war - about how poor, and stupid Northern soldiers were. My dad told me, Northerners never used to stay in the trenches during the war - hence, why Nigeria lost loads of soldiers. You guys more chances of winning a war against the North - than your brothers in the West, trust me.

I'm not a war monger, I'm just trying to set the records straight. We already had a civil war - it's time to move on - and embrace the diversity in Nigeria. I know a lot of Igbo guys who feel comfortable with Yorubas than Igbos - and I also know Yoruba guys, who feel more comfortable with Hausa/Fulanis, than their fellow Yorubas. Let's embrace our diversity, and make Nigeria better.

.
I do not give a rat arse if Nigeria disintegrates into 300 nations. All I want is Republic of Igbo land. Again, dunderheads such as you will poke nose into the affairs of Ndigbo. If it is not Igbo land is landlocked, it will be to tell end limit of Igbo land.

Please let it sink into your psychotic skull that northern region did not and will never defeat eastern region even if eastern region fields army of girls. Biafra was defeated by the combined forces of Britain, USSR, Nigeria, Australia, Egypt, UAL, Niger, Chad and Cameroon.

I shall not even miss a sleep about the pending war against Yoruba. Anybody who swam Atlantic Ocean can not be afraid of a swimming pool.
Politics › Re: Nigeria's Amalgamation Was A Sham And The Root Cause Of All Our Woes by Dede1(m):
adegeorge: Nigeria is a very complex country. Our problems did not start yesterday. It started about 1884. Lord Lugard came here about 1894 and many people did not know that Major Lugard was not originally employed by the British Government. He was employed by companies. He was first employed by East Indian Company, by the Royal East African Company and then by the Royal Niger Company. It was from the Royal Niger Company that he transferred to the British government. Unless you know this background, you will not know the root causes of our problems. The interest of the Europeans in Africa and indeed Nigeria was economic and it's still economic. They have no permanent friends and no permanent interests. Neither their interests nor their friends are permanent. Nigeria was created as British sphere of interests for business. In 1898, Lugard formed the West African Frontier Force initially with 2,000 soldiers and that was the beginning of our problems.

Anybody who wants to know the root cause of all the coups and our present problems, and who does not know the evolution Nigeria would just be looking at the matter superficially. Our problems started from that time. And Lugard was what they called at that time imperialist. A number of British soldiers, businessmen, politicians were very patriotic. But I must warn you; they were operating in the interest of their country. Lugard became a Lord.

Nigerians, too, should operate in the interest of their country. When Lugard formed the West African Frontier Force with 2,000 troops, about 90 percent of them were from the North mainly from the Middle belt. And his dispatches to London between that time and January 1914 are extremely interesting. Lugard came here for a purpose ant that purpose was British interest. Between 1898 and 1914, he sent a number of dispatches to London which led to the Amalgamation of 1914.

The Order - in - Council was drawn up in November 1913 signed and came into force in January 1914. In those dispatches, Lugard said a number of things, which are at the root causes of yesterday and today's problems.

The British needed the Railway from the North to the Coast in the interest of British business. Amalgamation of the South (not of the people) became of crucial importance to British business interest. He said the North and the South should be amalgamated. Southern Nigeria came into existence on January 1900. When Benin was conquered in 1896, it made the creation of the Southern Nigerian protectorate possible on January 1, 1900.
If you remember, Sokoto was not conquered until 1903. So, there was no question of Nigeria at that time. After the conquest of Sokoto, they were able to create the northern Nigerian protectorate. Lugard went full blast and created what was to be known as the protectorate of Northern Nigeria. What is critical and important are the reasons Lugard gave in his dispatches. They are as follows: He said the North is poor and they have no resources to run the protectorate of the North. That they have no access to the sea; that the South has resources and have educated people.

The first Yoruba lawyer was called to the Bar in 1861. Therefore, because it was not the policy of the British Government to bring the taxpayers money to run the protectorate, it was in the interest of the British business and the British taxpayer that there should be Amalgamation. But what the British amalgamated was the Administration of the North and South and not the people of the North and the South, that is one of the root causes of the problems of Nigeria and the Nigerians.

When the amalgamation took effect, the British government sealed off the South from the North. And between 1914 andl960, that's a period of 46 years, the British allowed minimum contact between the North and South because it was not in the British interest that the North be allowed to be polluted by the educated South. That was the basis on which we got our independence in 1960.
When the North formed a political party, the northern leaders called it Northern Peoples Congress (NPC). They didn't call it Nigeria Peoples Congress. That was in accordance with the dictum and policies of Lugard. When Aminu Kano formed his own party, it was called Northern Elements Progressive Union (NEPU) not Nigerian Progressive Union.

It was only Awolowo and Zik who were mistaken that there was anything called Nigeria. Infact, the so-cared Nigeria created in 1914 was a complete fraud. It was created not in the interest of Nigeria or Nigerians but in the interest of the British. And what were the structures created? The structures created were as follows: Northern Nigeria was to represent England; Western Nigeria like Wales; Eastern Nigeria was to be like Scotland. In the British structure, England has permanent majority in the House of Commons. There was no way Wales can ever dominate England, neither can Scotland dominate Britain. But they are very shrewd. They would allow a Scottish man to become Prime Minister. They would allow a Welsh man to become Prime Minister in London but the fact remains that the actual power rested in England.

That was what Lugard created in Nigeria, that was the root cause of ALL of our troubles.
In accordance with the good examples you gave in the cases of NPC and NEPU, Awolowo also did not include Nigeria too. It was I think Egba Omo Oduduwa which gave rise to Action Group.

It was only confused Azik that went with Nigeria and Cameroon as in NCNC.

shymmex: You keep beating the war drum like it's just a walk in the park. To be honest with you, I don't think Igbos have fully recovered from the biafran war, and that was forty years ago. Hence, the constant clamour for Biafra, and the alleged genocide - you guys spew here daily. Bare in mind, Biafran was just an advanced military game - with restraints - not a full blown civil war IMHO.

Are you guys ready for another war? And this time, it's not going to be a propaganda war - with NO VICTOR, NO VANQUISH - it's going to be a winner takes all situation. You guys need to be careful about what you wish for - because WAR IS NOT A JOKE.

I don't want to see millions of young black lives wasted over nothing - we all saw what happened in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Angola - and what's going on in Sudan and Congo DR. If you think Nigeria is bad now, just imagine how life would be in a war situation. We can all join forces to fight our mutual enemies - which are the elites - rather than our secession pipe dreams. War with the elites is winnable, with less loss - rather than an outright never ending civil war.
If a war should be started between Biafra and your ilk, I say bring it any day. Nobody wants war but civil disintegration of Nigeria can not be possible because of dunderheads such as you.

It is unfortunate that marooned nimrod of the lowest rung such as you will be pained when a useless colonial contraption such Nigeria is wacked. If I could hold my own on a political slam fest against a country such as USA, a piece of dirt such as Nigeria could be abused all day.

shymmex: I didn't say they outnumber everyone - I'm just saying, if Nigeria is to disintegrate - every tribe will have to choose where they want to belong - irrespective of their states. I don't think Yorubas in Kogi would want to join the North, and become a minority over there - likewise, the Yorubas in Kwara. The same way I don't think, Igbos in Delta would want to be in a NigerDelta republic, and leave their kins in the East. It's just simple logic.

It shows how complicated the whole thing is, and more reasons why we need to embrace Nigeria - and strive to make it better. cool
Only moronic slowpoke will think Yoruba or whatever republic it forms will get Kogi. Please sniff a freshly brewed coffee. The kogi shall be dissected into many parts. One Mohammed from the north had already claim Offa and Republic of Igbo land will not tolerate turncoats sniffing around the southeastern Kogi.

There is nothing complicated about Nigeria’s disintegration. It is either you fight to see another day or be crushed, olodo.

shymmex: Biafra is a DEAD political philosophy, the Biafran pipe dream died when the war ended - hence, the NO VICTOR, NO VANQUISH declaration. Nigeria as it is right now can NEVER disintegrate - without going through a worse civil war, than Biafra war. And you and I know no country has ever survived two civil wars.

You keep clamouring for Biafra republic, but can ndigbos accept a landlocked country, which is what alaigbo is? If you guys can, I wish you the best of luck - but if you can't, you guys need to embrace Nigeria. lipsrsealed
Yes, Ndigbo will accept landlocked country as Botswana is the fastest developing economy on African continent. If Atlantic Ocean constitutes the cornerstones of you pipe dream, Ndigbo will allow you drown in it.
