Nigeria needs to be destroyed. The first action of Boko Haram led to dismissal of minister of interior, Navy Captain Emma Iheanacho (Rt). The decibel of tribally induced calls to replace him would have reached God if it was possible. Since then there have been numerous Boko Haram atrocities yet there are no calls to either replace the minister of interior, NSA, Director SSS, or IG.

No country ever made it out of progressive basement when it is covered with tribal sentiments.

Aigbofa: The fight for Biafra could not continue because Biafra was not a product of homogeneous people of eastern region? When exactly did you find out the people of Biafra were not homogeneous? Before or after the war? Seems everything and everyone is responsible for the failure of Biafra, from Yorubas to Great Britain, to Russian and Americans to Biafrans themselves who were unfortunate not to be homogeneous!
Unless you tend to claim dunce, every breathable punk outside eastern region of Nigeria knew the ethnic composition of the region was not homogeneous. The war had hardly ended when some peeps, which were nose deep in the affairs of Biafra, suddenly, publicly and continuously claimed their people were not consulted on Biafra. These groups of people had stopped at nothing to make sure the issue of Biafra was Igbo affairs.

Dayolodo,

If this was a class room, imagine the type of laughter you would have generated with the above silly response.

At this stage of your miserable life, you still can not strike a difference between war of independence or war of oppression and civil war. When you achieve a score of failure, you blame it on race bias instead of your abject deficiency in comprehension.
Politics › Re: Ojukwu: A Giant Who Lived For Others - Prof Achebe's Tribute To Ojukwu by Dede1(m):
emisun: there is this question i av been wanting to ask since i first started taking interest in global affairs and that question-why did the ojukwu led rebellion only lasted for a mere three years when others else where like Tamil tigers,LRA,FARC,PKK etc lasted longer and some of them are still rebelling.
I guess your question can be regarded as fool’s delight because it is a manifestation of ignorance. Your question could be simply answered if you had devoted an hour everyday to study the issue of Biafra without bias. Tamil tigers,LRA,FARC,PKK etc lasted longer and some of them are still rebelling than Biafra because of the originality and composition of the people involved. In addition, there could be little or no superpower interest in the real estate that serves as home to Tamil tigers,LRA,FARC,PKK etc unlike eastern region which British government declared richest estate within commonwealth nations before war started.

It is very erroneously damning that most Nigerians assumed or believed Biafra was Igbo affairs or Ojukwu and Biafrans remotely planned to kick off revote. Biafra was collateral damage of socio-politico-economic exigencies of the cesspit called Nigeria. There should have been no war if Nigeria had allowed the eastern region to follow its political destiny. The fight for Biafra would have continued like Tamil tigers,LRA,FARC,PKK etc if Biafra was a product of homogeneous people of eastern region which had remotely planned to remove itself from Nigeria.

There is nothing fundamental in Nigeria that binds us to together except the finger sprints of colonialism.
Now unlike you ndu_chuks, I will answer your question with a straight answer - no bull no trivial solutions (mr trivial solution I bet your laughing your butt off) Lol.

Disintegration is not the only cure for Nigeria but its another antibiotic turked away in the shelves should the first shot fail. So much has happened in Nigeria for me to say the only thing that'll satisfy me is immediate disintegration. As a human, I want to have plan A and B, my plan A is to make where I'am work but if its not working I should be able to use my plan B.

These are conditions under which I will be comfortable drapping Nigerian flag (plan A)

1. Create equal number of states or go back to regional govt.
2. Conduct credible census with ethnicity in the data.
3. Every state should be allowed to keep and manage its resources, that is if we dont go back to regional govt.
4. Only 50 % of resources found in a location or region or state should be given to FG.

5. Let states or regions control all their stuff from education to police, FG police will only get involve in matters that are more complicated (e.g if mr A from State B or region B is denied justice because of his ethnicity or faith)

6. Abolish current presidential system and replace it with parliamentary system and let every state or region produce First minister. From the pool of these first ministers we can choose who will be prime minister (This #6 can be modified).

7. No more bogus numbers of house of assembly, any region or state that can not stand economically must lose their house of assembly members and must be required to merge with any region or state that accepts them.

8. Every state or region must make their laws and their laws must be consistent with One Nigerian ideals, it must never be discriminatory.

9. FG will only handle two things - Defense and currency.

10. FG must never use our common wealth for religious purposes, be it pilgrimage to Mecca or shango or Okija, enough of that.

11. Seal the border with Niger republic and Chad, whoever must cross must do so after being properly checked.

I probably have other things to add to that list.
Anyway, if we can have that either through national assembly or SNC then I'm in.

If we cant get at least 70% of whats on that list then whats the point wasting time building and building when I know its going to be another 50 yrs 2.0.
I shall add the abolishment of all quota system, examination’s score cutoff marks and federal character in Nigeria. Everything pertaining to promotion or initial intake shall be based on examination.

Irrelevant conjectures in your awkward world can be regarded as valid points and damnable conclusion in a scenario that the East is a victim of its playbook. The most laughable junk I read from your post is the wily assumption that North and West, regions of Nigeria, are sensitive, understandable and reasonable.

I hope you usually take quick glances of both sides of the busy traffic way before dashing across.
Lots of thoughtful inputs suggesting a reinvention of the wheel. Not that doing so is bad, but without eliminating the root cause of why Igbo has been kept out for this long, the reinvented wheel will work for a while and then in the long run end up in just the same dead corner that you find yourself now.

I am sure the North and the West are sensitive and they understand the situation and can reasonably comprehend the injustice of presidential politics without Igbo people. However, which one of you know for a fact that Hausa/Fulani will yield the spot for an Igbo president to emerge or that Yoruba will sit out a turn so an Igbo person can become president? It is not going to happen! You, ndigbo must not ask for any of the other people to sit out their turn or yield the spot for you; that will be a hopeless expectation. Ndigbo have some strengths but you also have some weaknesses and unfortunately politicking happens to be one of those weaknesses.

Ndigbo or the East has produced more vice presidents and senate presidents than West. So in actuality, you had been in executive power far more times than West. . . . so what has prevented your emergence into the top position? I refuse to believe that the North and West colluded to block your entrance, you were already in.

West has produced only one vice president and its the same person that has been recycled twice as president. Sonekan was an interim president and his term was short lived. West has never produced a vp under a civilian regime for any of the republics since our independence. So in actuality if any region deserve the presidential spot in 2015, its West, barring which the vp position must come to West irrespective of which non-Yoruba zone produces the president.

. . . .so, truly, ndigbo needs to search inhouse and pinpoint what you are doing wrong. Why are you so close, yet so far away from the top?
It is very funny you attempted to pretend while genuinely displayed the flow of condescending demeanor. In one instance you knew the secret and root cause of why Igbo has been kept out for this long and another it is the style of Igbo politicking or lack thereof that constituted one of the weaknesses. I guess treachery can be said to be inherent straits with certain group of people.

There is a philosophical gesture one ak47mann posted in another thread pertaining to a Lion. It reads “Regardless of economic hardship in the jungle, a lion can not eat grass”.
Do you mind explaining the bolded in layman's terms? Do you, like the known separatists and secessionist, believe that disintegration is the only cure for what you call radioactive minds? Please do not dodge this question because your views are respected.
The issue is not the radioactive substance which has a half-life when properly guarded. The problem is the National Accelerator Laboratory, in this case Nigeria, which continues to churn out radioactive minds, if I may borrow the Sam’s phrase, without good policy to regulate or guard the minds. In fact, it is insult to USA to have Fermilab liken to Nigeria in any scenario. There is no phase of unity in Nigeria except the useless real estate. Sometimes I am tired of English language yet the seemingly central catalyst for unity in Nigeria is the source of its disunity.

Nigeria is crack house that needs to be destroyed. I shall be the first person to stand forward as a nationalist, separatist or secessionist when issue of polity in Nigeria is set on a political roundtable discussion. However, I shall never become a known Cabal.

I hope you noticed those comments. Everyone in Nigeria except Ndigbo is responsible for the sorry state of affairs.
How body? I am even the least commentator to indicate the scenario that Ndigbo have been kept out of the rudder section of Nigeria. Prominent exponent of this school of thought is no less a person than Sanusi L Sanusi the governor of Nigerian Central Bank.

Senator Ibrahim Mantu, then deputy president of Nigerian Senate, did not mince words when he delved into the palaver of OBJ’s third term ploy. He claimed that inner circle kingmakers tagged him an Igbo man because of his stance for equity and fairness to avert the factors that engendered 1967 civil war.

I do not speak for any ethnic group in Nigeria, not even Igbo, when I state my political opinion.

I see no reason why every region should not be a mini-country of some sort by having everything that a country deserves which includes international facilities such as airports, seaports and possibly a regional government. Politics › Re: Do You Think Nigeria Can Actually Get Better? by Dede1(m): 9:10pm On Apr 07, 2012
I must say that anybody who is born in Nigeria and lived abroad while visiting Nigeria will declare that the country is a practical joke at the airport. NIGERIA WILL GET WORSE

The moment the person gets to Nigerian officials at the airport, the sense or variable of what is considered as a nation evaporates. On the road from the airport will present another unforgettable silliness from the touts on the roads called Nigerian Police and Army.

While in Nigerian cities, you will definitely mistake the scenery for Serengeti Park. The worse aspect of Nigeria comes from the so-called elected and appointed officials. Nigeria is one of the God-forsaken places on earth where a governor will close a public road because the governor is either on lunch break or ready to go for one.

Those of us who were born in the 80s; many of our parents were able to get a college degree during the late 70s and early 80s. I cannot say the same for those who were born in the 60s or 70s whose parents were "peasants." I really hate that term by the way.
Who did you think gave rise to your parents if you were born in the 80s? Few individuals have given a scenario that insinuates offspring of peasant famers may not achieve education beyond farming. This is simply not the case with Nigerian society
