planetx:Guy, the gentleman has not even said anything that warrants an insult or what not...why such derogatory words towards him? Or did I miss something in his message.? O wrong nau |
dataking:Mods, can we pls look at options to explore to get this well noticed so actions can be taken... we can’t just let these actions slide... something has to be done.... it goes beyond one being able to afford , it’s plain cheating and stealing...except someone does not work for their money, it’s absurd to pay for what you didn’t get. Pls help resend this till it gets to the necessary authorities....IKEDC IS A FRAUD... the prices have to be slashed and the monthly estimated billing scrapped in its entirety.... |
dataking:You need to see how the bunch of people living in my area run after Nepa to pay such bills when they come with confidence to cut light .... it’s alarming and I wonder why nobody does anything.... I started something in October last year by challenging the distribution guys, others supported and we chased them away... next month they dropped the bill to 6000 from the usual , 12000. Subsequent months, its back to 12k... and they keep running after them... I’m just sick and tired of many things here... don’t we know our rights or we just accept it can’t be respected? |
Izanghi:You got this right out of my mouth... are there measures put in place to punish those who don’t adhere to the directives given please? Kindly help with numbers guys... IKEDC, precisely the distribution in Okota , Ago palace way are thieves... I was patiently waiting for the February bill to arrive and as usual , it didn’t fail me, before the recent directive to reduce estimated Billing and all, we hardly got any light in February, next, we heard the new amount to charge consumers, alas, i got my February bill and it was 11,824. This is just sickening , ludicrous and outright unacceptable... do we live in a country or a zoo? Why can’t anybody do anything about this day light robbery? In just 1 street in ago palace, these thieves make around , 3 to 5 million every month from estimated billing, just 1 street and there are hundreds of streets... as long as we don’t clamp down on this and just keep accepting, we can NEVER develop and the future is bleak... pls anyone with the right information on how to report these thieves, help with a number or email.thanks |
kingmeme:What area do you live? It’s a common problem with those that live in areas with high iron/lead content in the water they bathe with (the orange colored water that looks muddy). There’s a high tendency it’s the iron/lead laden water or the insects (roaches and bugs) as highlighted by some. But it’s tending more to the red/orange colored water which is a sign on lead/iron in high content..you can reply with a response if you fall in that category. |
hooha:Good you mentioned “one reason for such calls MAY BE....” Although I partly agree in spirituality, believing there’s more to people than meets the eye and the realm of the unknown by far supersedes the known, I feel the reason behind the calls from the spouse or gf when one is about to cheat stems from the fact that you have been together for sometime and she understands your movements (relatively) and may be able to predict your location based on downtime or end of work. As much as I know, people cheat mostly in their free times, albeit short or otherwise, the gf has been able to understand when these free times happen or when we have closing hours based on recurrence. (Especially those that do 9-5 jobs) So there’s a tendency for her to call you and perhaps catch u in the act when something seems to be going down... that’s just my take |
b2banifo:Google ACRO POLICE. Follow the prompt for PCC, fill in information, instructions and uploads, make payment , and wait. |
LIFE101:Sorry you have issues with this. I’d advise you put a call through to WES to clarify. I have seen a lot of Bells Students register to have their transcripts evaluated by WES. I happened to finish there too but had my Msc somewhere else.. I believe they take it . Perhaps there are ways around it... good luck to you |
There seems to be a latest trend in Nigeria in recent times regarding scarcity and/or outright unavailability of Nigerian passport booklets. It’s bad enough that people are coaxed into paying almost 200% increase in the original cost of getting a new passport, it’s now retrogressed onto no availability of booklets and to make matters worse, it’s purportedly nationwide. I hear the E-passport is now being issued to new applicants and only available in Ikoyi and maybe Abuja, (comes at a huge cost), but if the federal Govt need to scrap the other and popular Nigerian passport type, shouldn’t it be done so we know we are only getting the e-passport and in record time as well? It’s sad that Nigeria is plummeting into implosion in many areas and issuance of international passports to aid people running away from the country for different reasons is now proving even more difficult. I wish this menace is brought to book and those concerned do something about this. Passport issuance should never take more than 1 week for new applicants , it now takes over 3 months or even more. Change of name and /or re issue after expiry can take as long as 4 to 6 months... that’s outright sickening. I am sure I’m not the only one involved and it’s widespread...By the way I applied in Festac office. please share your views and let’s see or hear what can be done regarding this. |

I am selling my Gray Toyota Highlander 2008 model at a give away price because I am relocating. I have used to commute from Lere to Marina (work) for the entirety of the 2 years i used it mostly and I can confirm it’s been on a premium insurance scheme all the while until just Last month when it expired and I filed for 3rd party because of my travel plans. Everything works perfectly and I have also listed on some other platforms as well. Mileage is 170,000. And all parts are genuine Toyota parts. Pls message me ASAP or call on 09098826410 for information. 2,600,000 and negotiable...

I'll be on my way today to confirm. I checked from someone else's account (same bank) and saw she was debited even higher than me in some instances and sometimes lesser. I want to gather all information needed so I know I have the wherewithal to tackle such nonsense if proven to be so. But thanks for the input |
Hi guys, I just checked my alert now and realised for a very long time , say around 1 year, I have been debited wrongly for monthly card maintainance fee. Let's say I am to be charged 52.5 for this fee, I end up getting debited 100 naira on some occasions, 70 naira sometimes and others, around 80 naira. Dont seem to understand how this eluded me, I checked today with a calculator in hand and I realised I had been cheated all these while. Imagine the illegal moneys they would have made doing this to millions every month.? Pls how do I file a claim with the aim of getting my moneys or should I fine outright? I wish to make it big so as to help others. I'm certain its the same to most people. I have all necessary information and will divulge name of bank as necessary updates unfold. Pls experts in the house!!! Over to you. Thanks |
"The perineal gland secretion, civet, has been the basic ingredient for many perfumes for hundreds of years and is still being used today although on the decline since the creation of synthetic musk.[3] African civets have been kept in captivity and milked for their civet which is diluted into perfumes. They can secrete three to four grams of civet per week and it can be sold for just under five hundred dollars per kilogram.[14] The WSPA says that Chanel, Cartier, and Lancôme have all admitted to using civet in their products and that laboratory tests detected the ingredient in Chanel No. 5." Bro...if only u kept it alive.... |
businessman7:Contrary to the general idea, hybrids are very inexpensive to maintain. Go for a Prius with good service history and in 1 year you will not repair a thing. It uses normal Toyota parts which are readily available when any repairs want to happen like would be in any car. |

I met with Koffi at the ikeja country club sometime last year at an uncles birthday ceremony. He was the mc for d day. Feeling excited I walked up to him after the event and took pictures and cordially asked for his card which he gave happily. Afterwards I told him I will call him early this year for my wedding to be the master of ceremony, he obliged. Sometime last month I called again and got through to his secretary saying I needed his service to be my mc on my wedding day which was on Saturday 23rd April.. she said she will get his number across if he confirmed he was available for the date. subsequently he messaged me saying I shld call him. to cut the long story short. we negotiated back and forth and reached an agreement for 100,000 naira only. which he agreed. He sent his bank details (GTB) and said payment will guarantee booking. I swiftly paid and told him so. we exchanged messages on and off before the day and I asked to see him before the day like 1 week before to give him brides name , grooms name and all necessary information but he said he won't be around to meet before the day that I shld email to him... I did that. alas on the day, this guy gave only a show face, introduced himself, and spent less than 20 mins before he disappeared and left the scene, he left us with one mc like dat dat no one knew from jack. the sad side is, I didn't even get to the reception before he left. I never saw him but pple said he only came a few mins. the mc he left told me he said he wanted to hmgo eat somewhere that he wad coming back....IMAGINE I felt used, cheated and duped....what a disappointing day it turned out to be. I called him afterwards to ask for a partial refund of 50000 but he has rebuffed and told me he did me a favour by coming atal that he had an appointment he could not miss the same day...!!!! so why didn't he tell me that in the 1st place right? Pls spread the word that this guy is nothing but bad news for anybody atal. He is a cheat and a fraud. He is also obviously a poor man. if you have any event... dnt even think about calling him. I will get his number across to those that need it and make sure I go to any length to spoil his image. as I speak first thing 2mao morning I am going to the police station to report the case and luckily I happen to be related to the 2nd in command police station festac branch. a summon Is expected....this is practically a criminal case. he then said at least the service was rendered....he was so rude and arrogant like he is one superstar....Good riddance... I have all documents, pictures and messages to prove all that's written is true. |
