Please who has done PEBC evaluation for pharmacist, how long did it take before you received a mail acknowledging their receival of your transcript, pcn letter and co.. Someone please help.

It depends on which documents they are still waiting to receive. If all documents have been received and your are sure due to tracking, then any moment soon, you will get the acknowledgement mail and your 8 weeks starts counting down. Koko is to track your documents if possible.

Also you can send them a mail asking for the status of your application, with that they will tell you what documents are still outstanding. Pls make sure you quote your pebc identification number in the subject of your mail.

All the best.

Hi.
Please what can you say generally about Ottawa. In terms of neighborhoods, transit, housing, opportunities, French speaking etc on a general note. And also the different parts of Ottawa.

Thanks

Hello House,

I just got my COPR and I am trying to book my flight to Edmonton with Ethiopian Airlines, I notice there is a stopover at Dublin. Now the question is "Do I need an Irish Transit visa?"
No you don't. You won't even disembark from the plane. The stop over will probably be due to crew change and refuel.
Congratulations on your copr...

Good evening,

I just scanned my PCC and a little part at the bottom of page 2 is not showing clearly (place showing Alagbon Lagos) written by hand, is it going to be a problem or can go ahead with it like this? I tried to rescan and the information showed but a little part of the little finger thumbprint on the right went off. I have tried different positions, none is coming out better. Which of them is better to use? I don't know if I am worrying over nothing, I just want to be double sure. Thanks.
You can use CamScanner to scan it. Download the app on your phone.

I was previously the primary applicant (B. Eng degree) as far back as June 2017 on 430 despite my wife was a pharmacist. Her ECA was reviewed with WES as we didnt want to go thru the stress of PEBC which took abt 3 to 4 months for evaluation results to be ready. We felt 430 was sufficient to give us an ITA.

We kept waiting in the pool hoping the scores would drop to 430 or below... After waiting for abt 3 or 4 months we decided to do another review of her ECA using PEBC ( reviewed as a professional degree) so she could be the primary applicant. Just a few weeks ago her evaluation was complete. I deleted my profile and made her the primary applicant. Hence benefiting from getting increased points from her evaluation as a professional degree. Hence we sit on 472
Congratulations... What a smart decision. PEBC takes time, true but the after result makes you forget the wait period. Weldone and congratulations...

Yes it does. I used mine. So far you were paid.
It doesn't count if you weren't paid.

Please, for those who have done medicals at Children's Practice.... Ikoyi Lagos, is it possible to get the upfront medical certificate the same day?

Thanks for your help.
They issue you a print out that's same day, that's what you will upload in the medical portion in your cic account.

Thanks Deebay.. The child is Canadian citizen via father.
But wont the child need to present any doc at the airport?
The child NA citizen abi? That one alone sef na free entry. I believe the child should have a Canadian passport. If yes then that's all if no then probably they issued a COPR for the child. I don't know again Sha. Ask the mother what passport documents the child has.

Please my people

A sis of mine just got her stamped Visa from Ghana. But her child's(2yr old) Visa wasn't stamped.

It was returned the same way it was sent.

Could it be that she wasn't given because she is a citizen by birth(the father is)?

Wont she need any document for her daughter at immigration if she decides to immigrate to Canada any time within the 6 months visa validity period?

Has one that has experienced this?
Anyone well knowledgeable about this?

Is the child a US citizen? If yes, US citizens don't need a visa to enter Canada. I believe the child was issued COPR, even as a US citizen such child will still be issued this.

There's no space or column till after ITA. You are on the right track.

So who did you eventually use for your ECA? IQAS Or PEBC?
PEBC of course. The question asked was related to licensure, not ECA.
For licensure, people with Bpharm from the USA skip a step while others with Bpharm from Nigeria for example skip no step.

Please I have a question.
If you studied pharmacy in Nigeria and do your masters abroad? Will you also need to get the Canadian licensing exams to practice there? And is the license needed for industrial work?
Pharmacists in the house your help would be appreciated.
1. Yes. If your Bpharm was from US, you would have skipped a step
2. No idea about industrial work. But for community, hospital, yes it's needed.

does the child care subsidy pay all of your child care fees where you live? It doesn't on my end. It pays a portion and what you get approved for is dependent on your income. There is also no waiting list here.
Pls I don't understand how this works. I have read on cic website but still don't get. How will it be calculated for newly landed immigrants ie what do do need to use in applying ? Must one get a job before such subsidy can be applied for? What if the child is in grade one will such subsidy still b paid? Will such subsidy be given cash or how?
Pls no mind my plenty questions, I am just in the planning phase. Thanks

I currently work in a pharmaceutical industry and I have a WES evaluation report, but my concern is that: what if I got to Canada and could only get a job in Hospital, where practising license is required. Would I still be allowed to go through Canadian Pharmacists licensing process? I need submissions.
Yes you can but through pebc.
To practice pharmacy in Canada you need to undergo the licensure procedures, write exams etc via pebc. Check their website for the steps to take as an international pharmacy graduate.

Can you post a link supporting this?

You have posted it already. We are saying the same thing. Practising in Canada has nothing to do with cic. All they care about is the eca from pebc from those who practice pharmacy profession here with pcn license (community and hospital). I have no idea for industrial pharmacists.

Using pebc actually is also a plus for those who intend to practice in Canada, cos aside from eca report, one is also given a letter that qualifies us to apply for the Evaluating exams.
It's also stated on pebc website.

Do you plan on writing the evaluating exam or practising at any time? if Yes, use pebc.

Well even if one doesn't want to practice or write the evaluation exams, as far as such person is applying as a hospital or community pharmacist, such person must use Pebc for ECA.
Pharmacists who get ECA from pebc are automatically eligible for evaluation exams. It's now left for the pharmacist to decide whatever career path he/she takes after landing.
Most people have the misconception that using pebc is only if one wants to practice, but it's not. It's for ECA and for pebc to formally invite you to apply for the Evaluating exams so it's like killing two birds with a stone.
Lol

Hello i'm new here and i beleive this forum can be of assistance to me. I'm a pharmacist and i just got my IELTS result. My wife too has already written the IELTS exam. I have done ECA with WES only to find out that PEBC should have verified my credentials. Apparently the agent that i used then didnt realise that i need to use PEBC for my evaluation. I just finished my MSc programme and my question is this; should i go ahead and upgrade my qualification with my MSc from WES or do I need to do PEBC evaluation outrightly? After using the CRS tool, I have a total point of 426. Do you advise that I use an agent or should i just try to do the processing on my own, of course with help from gurus here. Thanks
Every one here is a DIY person.
OK, what are your ielts scores?
How many years experience do you both have as individuals? Age? Degree etc. Let's have your details, who knows your wife could be the PA.

i doubt WES is acceptable.

WES is acceptable for pharmacist whose work experience isn't community or hospital pharmacy. Eg pharmacists that have work experience as med sales rep can use Wes. Meaning any work experience whereby our license isn't required, such person can use Wes or any other body.. Pebc is compulsory for pharmacists whose work experience is hospital or community.
That was why I asked what noc code her friend Is applying as and what experience she has.

Deebay never said that. S/he only mentioned CIC says financial institution, implying mortgage bank is also a financial institution that the statement can be used. If pension account (which isn't a bank) can be used, then a mortgage bank should suffice.
Thank you sir for this.
