To be honest I think 10k should be the base/average target for any driver. I started this hustle 2 months ago and any day I work full day because I do this part time (on my off days) I must go home with 10k inside my pocket not Uche’s bolt account balance.

It is now a routine that for every 8500-9000(full tank) fuel I buy I must make 10k three times before I refill. And this is just in Abuja with horrible fare, I believe Lagos should be higher.

There are people who net 20,30 even 40k daily, but these are experienced old timers with a long network of offline clients.

Comrade don't start this argument again nw, there is no one consistently netting these amounts you quoted daily, nobody can even net 40k in a day under normal circumstances.

Those babas no dey overwork themselves for peanut, na our ehailing come pour sand sand for their garri.
Normally they just sit at their parks and gist till passenger come, that gisting alone is healthy and the kind of food they eat too (not gala and bigi cola). They can do just 3 trips in a day and be very comfortable

In my experience, if you get a good car, you spend an average of 20-30k per month on all maintenance inclusive of oil changes. Let's use 25k.

25k on one car multiplied by 12 is an average of N300,000 maintenance per year. For both cars he's looking at N600,000 on routine maintenance.

The key is getting a good car to start with.

Assuming his drivers pay 25k without a single default, he will get 50k x 52 weeks = 2.6m.
2.6m - 600k = 2m.
But drivers will definitely default

I ended up meeting him, though i did not see the Es350 (he said its at home), i gave an advice that he could sell it , buy two standard bolt cars (YES , he can get two good cars with 3m or even 2.7m), put them on bolt, wait for drivers to return profit. Even if he sold the car 3million and gives car out at an ok price of 25k . He’ll get 2.4million at the end of the year.

Not heard back from him.

But I’ve given the best advice i could.

I want to give moove a shot since procuring a vehicle has been taking long and the few ones I've contacted here either says the vehicle available is strictly hire purchase or that my location is far.

In my opinion, it's only a fool that will drop 1.8m as initial deposit for ehailing car and now suffer for minimum of 2 years servicing loan.
