But why are you guys looking at it just from the drivers perspective. Like I don't get it. You(driver) agreed to do delivery, at the end of the day you did not deliver item, you have refused to return item and you have refused to take your call all in the name of recipient being rude to you.

What if he was asked to go drop off some kids, will he say because the person who is suppose to receive the kids was rude to him then it's now his right to go with the kids?

You guys should put yourself in the position of the guy who owns those items and then make your judgment. It could be that those items where sold and meant to be delivered, probably in another state by the recipient who is meant to travel with the said item.

If the driver was vexed by the recipient s manners then he should try to resolve things with the person who ordered and not seize the item.

I beg make the driver go sit down. Like he has never in his life been rude to someone.

Did he offer to request another ride to return the item or he claimed right that his money was still reading so insisted that the driver should return it.

Is the driver picking his calls?

If yes, what is the driver saying?

If he has bad intentions he will not be picking rider's calls, he would have blocked him gan sef

Nobody is saying he must embark on another trip, it's a simple something tell them you're sending it through courier or explain to them that you'll bring it another time that's convenient.

Let the owner request another ride to bring it back simple. How can a driver use his own account to request for a rider. If something happens to the new driver nko

The driver is either being emotional or a thief. If the driver had good intentions, he could have simply ended the ride and asked the rider to request another to deliver the items back to him.

You gerrit. So everybody saying driver should have returned the items should put this scenario into consideration. As far as I'm concerned, driver has completed the trip which was point A to point B. Asking driver to go from point B to point A is another trip entirely which driver has the right to either accept or decline

Though rider said he ask the driver let him change the address to return the item but already the guy was paranoid at the point.

Since we can't hear from the driver I believe the way and manner the rider handled the issue too was not professional as well, I believe he too was authoritative due to the worth of the item he sent so he may think being authoritative would make the driver adhered to his command.

Let the ride share details of the trips here let's check something out, we have able men that can profile the driver to hear his side of the story.

For instance you are looking for a destination trip home from the island, then you get this delivery trip and because there are issues with the recipient (which may not be driver's fault) rider now said you should return the items to him on the island. Is it that easy when you've already called it a day? I'm not saying that's what happened but it may be something similar

True, but if Driver for some reason couldn't go back to PU, he could have just booked another ride to return Riders items to him. Then he find his way and everybody is settled since his own trip was a card trip.

How can the driver book a ride to return rider's items? That's the rider's job so we're supposed to ask the rider first if he suggested that

Nothing from his end shows he had any intention of returning the items.
All these judgements are based on the report we have until we hear from the driver maybe that will also influence the judgment, but I don't see any reason for him to seize somebody's property.

This is a dicey situation as you have at least 500k with that driver right now.

Play it cool. The driver is probably still emotional (maybe he had a bad rapport with the receiver)

Send him a message, apologize for wasting his time and what not, then offer him an incentive. If he’s still adamant, then he’s a thief and I’d advise you to get a police report and take it up with bolt.

He cannot take it up with bolt, bolt just cleared themselves that they don't run delivery services so he should take it up with the driver. The little information he has about him is enough for police to work with of they want to

Whatever the recipient told him is not enough reason to withold what is not your own, he has criminal tendencies.
He should have returned it to the sender since he already told him to do so, in as much we are yet to hear from the driver let's not pretend not to know what he did was bad.

You don't know the distance he travelled to deliver it, what if he has other plans after the delivery and intended to go offline. Drivers also have their private life to live you know

Did you read the part where he talked about the engine oil acting like a coolant to the engine kind of? And how removing of thermostat and connection of fan direction lowers engine temperature from 90+ -109deg cel to 65deg C? This cause the build up of sludge due to it's paraffins content in 20W50.

No matter the case your engine dies slowly over time.

When you maintain your car well it will serve you well. By July my biggy go clock 4 years. Still first body and engine never worked on, compressor still pumping well, exhaust never visit panel beater before. Gear is the only major issue I've fixed and condenser

Just go and buy a new engine i.e if you still want your car otherwise, meet kamaru to revive it then sell it off but don't go and use papm oil again o on a tokunbo car and if you buy a Nigeria used car just continue with the oil the former seller uses

It's pragmatic to use xhp when the vehicle has been using xhp.
Na car I wan drive, no be invention I say I wan do.
I use xhp service and service in 10 weeks.

I haven't even touched my car since 1st week in march.
Service last week in Jan and I will service next week.

That's just it. I service at around 3000 miles so after each service I reset my trip A and trip B. I use trip B to monitor distance covered between top ups and trip A to monitor when next service is due.

For newbies that are reading, do not copy me o. I intended using synthetic oil and the recommended weight but the condition of my engine when I bought it disagreed. If I buy another car tomorrow I will stick to factory settings till engine says otherwise

It has been said here, use synthetic oil from d beginning of your toks ownership.
If u have used XHP for more than 2years just continue using it, it's too late to revert to factory spec.
Mixing synthetic and XHP is fatal.
U can step down from synthetic to XHP after a long use of synthetic but u can't step up from XHP to synthetic after along use.

Now this is what happens when you pour synthetic oil into an engine with a great amount of sludge.

Full synthetic engine oils have cleaning additives, they work like detergents, and are able to break down accumulated sludge in the engine very quickly. The ability of full synthetic oils to keep an engine clean, in a healthy engine is harmless, the particles get trapped in the oil filter and after an oil (oil and filter change) drain the process is repeated again. sadly in an abused engine it is not the same. You have rapid breakdown of sludge, it overwhelms the oil filter, clogs up the strainer at the pickup screen of the oil pump, on and no time the engine is running on low oil pressure (which explains why the oil light started flickering in traffic) ultimately from low oil pressure the engine gets starved of lubrication, becomes noisy, rattles and finally freezes up.

If by drag you mean engine sound? Yes. There's this heaviness about the engine as soon as the ac is turned on.

I haven't worked on the compressor per say, though I remember changing compressor pulley and condenser but that was a long time ago

Your compressor may be overworking the engine, it has happened to my yaris before. Car would be driving smoothly without AC but once you turn on the AC it would be as if something pulled the car back and engine would then be working grudgingly as if they were forcing it to work. If this is the case, your compressor may be the culprit.

Thanks boss for your concern. The accelerating issue has stopped remarkably so, but currently, the problem at hand now is that the radiator reserve container dries out after driving several km and this drop in water level does not happen in the radiator.

Now, this is another aspect that confuses me. Even when the reservoir is full, when the ac is on the temperature starts to rise and it doesn't go down until I put the ac off.

In summary:
Reservoir dries up after driving several km, provided I fill up, car temp remains below half mark on the temp cluster.

Temperature rises above the half mark the moment I turn on the ac and drive for several km even if reservoir is full

No sign of visible leak as radiator remains full even with all the above stated issues.

Do you notice any drag on the engine when you turn on the AC?
Have you changed or worked on your compressor before?

I did 140 almost all thru just last week from ibadan to lagos. It still depends on the driver sha cuz I don't drive recklessly and know when to slow down ahead of time
