rapheal5: I don finally get 2005 corolla but I have little issue with uploading car documents I can't see where to upload vehicle license and the rest...I only see lasdri, lasrra and driver badge no where to upload hackney permit. I want to come to lagos by monday I'm coming from abeokuta, pls house i need to know how much e go cost me for all the lagos document, list of what I'm paying for and how much for the inspection and also inspection center address with little crowd....I already have a profile with bolt and I did an hour work on bolt last December here in abeokuta but they later sent me a message last week to go for inspection.... Thanks Congratulations on your new car. For the car documents, that will be taken care of at inspection centre. You don't have to upload hackney permit. Inspection is 1200, but those guys like to be roja'ed so just hold like 1500 or 2k. I don't know any inspection centre with little crowd, I do mine at conoil filling station after dopemu bridge (the first fuel station by the right after the bridge coming from iyana ipaja) The other documents, I do not have so I can't tell how much they are |

Ernesttoby30: The car is not up to two years sir but almost (May 2020). The previous owner doesn't know the brand of oil his driver used in servicing the car and currently they are not in good terms. According to him, his driver rough used the car and stole some things in it, which took months for police to settle the matter. So he ended every contact/relationship they had together. Forget it, it can never be the recommended oil |

Delete the car from your profile, then add it afresh and put the new colour. Upload the necessary documents including the last inspection report. I think that should solve the problem |

This will include ......
Cost of engine oil ( where you buy ur oil from) Labour Cost of filter ........
And how many times in a year u do oil change .

dru23: That should not be ur concern... But that 20w50 oyel u dey use make ur car no go do Kakakakakakaka on 3rd mainland Bridge at 1am .. You will be force to leave the car there.. Police and arm robber are notorious for robbing and throwing people into the Lagoon .......
And am sure u go leave the car there , coz life is more precious than material things.. But by the time u go back next morning to tow ur car. Na skeleton shape of the car u go find there.. That is if those thieves pity u be that........
A word is enough for the wise I will not be on 3mb at 1am, so that renders everything you said invalid. Money I've saved from buying 20w50 instead of 5w30 synthetic can buy a new engine so I don't care if the engine packs up, it's still strong kakaraka, not showing kakakakakaka boooom sign |

dru23: Kakakakakakaka boooooom. Will not be ur portion in 2022 ...... Changing oyel every 3k miles and if u doing uber that is like every month. With workmanship plus oyel filter and plus engine oil that is roughly at least 10k naira every month......
Plz don't go and buy the oyel that will make ur car do Kakakakakakaka booooooom. We no go feel sorry for u o .. Na u go lick ur own wound o
Ps for those that are reading this .. If you are not buying your 20w50 oyel at any accredited petrol station like Mobil and total . you are increasing the chances of your car doing Kakakakakakaka boooom Thank you for your advice. When are you doing Christmas giveaway sir |

Pearl1910: VAT is a consumption tax. It's usually paid by the person enjoying the product/service. It can be charged as an extra cost or sometimes it's embedded in d cost of the service. Whichever way they want to do it, it's not partners that will bear that cost. Either they will charge VAT separately in addition to d fare like Bolt is doing with the 3% or they will increase fare to accommodate d VAT. Since Uber/Bolt insist they are not a transport company but a technology company it means partners are the transporters, providers of the service and d collectors of payment reason why they need your TIN to tie all d VAT u generate. Well explained. Thanks |

Pearl1910: But they clearly said it doesn't affect your earnings. Uber and Bolt must pay tax na...whether they shift it to d Rider's or they pay from their pocket, that's their business, it will not affect your earnings, so leave people that are posting 'photoshop' dashboard out of this abeg. That's how they will be saying it will not affect your earnings, so where will the 7.5% come from? Why do they need our TIN, why inform us in the first place if we will not be the one paying it? It's like saying I will beat you with this cane but don't worry it will not pain you |

Pearl1910: Talk true, U never open ur engine for oil related damage? U never wash sludge comot for engine? Ur oil pressure light or engine oil light hasn't blinked when engine is on? And the sound of your engine is still like when u bought it?? With all honesty, no one of the above has happened and sound of my engine is still like when I bought it. If I'm not using ac and the fans are not rolling fast you won't know the engine is on. That's why I lay more emphasis on changing oil as at when due, it goes a long way.. longer way than using recommended oil and not changing as at when due |

Pearl1910: This "it has served me well" u guys always say for palm oil. How many years have u used that oil without having any engine issues? Most of the damage those bad oils cause begin to surface after like 2yrs of ehailing use. So the testimonies should wait till like 3yrs then u can confirm if it has served u well or not.
No be by prayer and no be curse, if u use wrong fluids u are bound to change engine or transmission sooner or later.
U guys don't fathom d level of stress on d engine driving from morning till night everyday, then u now come and add to it with wrong oil. It's just a matter if time... Sharlu oil.. it has served me well. This is the 4th year (since 2018) |
