bumi10: I understand were u r coming from and I echo ur sentiments. I want u to also understand were ibos are coming from and why they r sentimental to this thread.
The Ibo has known for years that the ND's are betrayals especially akwa-ibom, and it was because of them that Nigerians surrounded the Biafrans from our own backyard which led to the surrendering. At least my dad who was an ex soldier couldn't be biased when he told me one of his war stories back in the day.
Secondly, Ibos also know that Yorubas are 'snakes', sorry to use that word. They cannot be trusted and Ibo know this for years now and learned the hard way. They are even one of the reason why Biafra was declared.
So please forgive the Ibos for being sentimental on this thread. They are just surprised that a Northerner whom has always been known for their lies could come out and speak the truth.
And make no mistake, while most of the things he said is true, many of his assertion are also serious lies and can only mean deception. How can one say Igbos like Hausa? That is a lie from the pit of hell. I mean Igbos are not Yoruba that hide their feels. We make our feelings known.
Buhari was so surprised that he didnt get 1% votes from Igbos. anyi anachi Yes everybody betrays an igbo man while he is the only one that is meek. See yoruba and the niger deltan people never agreed to any terms with the igbos. You can keep crying betrayal all over the the place but nobody feel sorry for you |

Koolking: Of course, there has always been disunity among the Easteners/Southeners.
Biara failed during Ojukwu and will always be dead on arrival. The movement is shrouded in uncertainty. Even the igbos themselves don't trust one another. Let alone the minority regions like Calabar and Akwa Ibom and Rivers. There is fear in some quarters that the Anambrans would want to hijack the Biaran entity, dominate and enslave others. The supporters are the selfish minority who doesn't know the underlying motive for the movement.
Ojuwku was this close, but he was discovered to be a fraud by his own people. He lost. Uwazurike came on board and used it to bargain his selfish interest with the Nigerian govt, he is now history. Am not surprised with Kanu, he will toe the same path as his predecessors. While the not so smart followers will die for a cause that is not genuine.
Instead of exerting our energy fighting the common enemy - ethnic sentiments, bigotry tendencies, we are wasting it on a selfish course that is not tenable.
I support true federism, not sectional breakup. We are too divided to break up to make up. We can all make Nigeria the country we yearn for.
Long live Nigeria Nigeria will separate whether you like it or not. You better prepare for the worse to come. |

36STATES: From childhood, every Igboman knows a Yoruba man is a backstabber. Some of us ignored such eternal warning and tried to see things for ourselves and got stabbed immediately too. From cross carpeting to if "Igbos go we will go", it's all about Awolowo betrayal of trust. Obafemi Awolowo was the epitome of chameleon character (419 scammer pastor Adeboye of today) which has made his people so notorious across Africa as very untrustworthy people. You igbos should stay your lane while we yoruba people stay on ours. What concern you with what adeboye does? Stop poking your nose into yoruba affairs. We dont need you!!! |

LordAdam16: You did not answer the question, would you allow him to use the SW slot.
If you know he can never be given because he is not from the SW. Then why are you counting him among the SW officers in the current government?
You are very confused.
Everyone in the south was cool with Buhari/Idiagbon until they proved to be calamitous. It doesn't mean Idiagbon used the SW slot.
GEJ did not marginalize Yorubas. You voted against GEJ because your patron Tinubu wanted a VP position. He didn't get it. And the stooge Osinbajo can only ever be a Acting President. That is his ceiling.
And this nonsense white-washing in the media would not sell. Get that into your skull. If you guys want to continue, keep at it. I can't blame you guys for not trying. But be prepared for the expected outcome.
Buhari is not even dead yet, and you guys are already claiming 1/2 position and talking about Osinbajo contesting in 2019. E go shock una.

The only way out for you guys is biafra. I am yoruba and if i tell you what i think about what the op said, then i must confess to you that i want osinbajo to continue ruling. This is just the truth. Ethnic sentiment can not end in nigeria, unlike nigerians that lie to themselves, i say the truth the way i see it. I am tired of all these igbo, hausa, yoruba ethnic supremacy. Why cant we just separate and rule ourselves. If osinbajo is the president of oodua republic, we wont be having unneccesary fights about which ethnic group will suceed him after his tenure since the country itself with be owned by Yoruba people. This is what i tell every yoruba but they wont listen. Let this country separate!!! Let their be peace!!! Let us disintegate to rule ourselves and stop all these hate!!! |

1) Restructure Nigeria
2) Igbo presidency
Once restructuring fails, goodbye to Nigeria Why would you want to become president when the country is restructured. And besides you said if igbos are not given presidency in 2027, you want biafra. Does that not mean that your cries for biafra is because you want to become president of nigeria? |

I see a northerner taking APC flag in 2019 together with a South East VP. Go and read the history of politics in this country or read about the emergeance of Shehu shagari as President. Then let us just say that the reason you cry for biafra is because you want to rule the country. Is it not so? |

I am a yoruba guy and i support it. I am sure many Yoruba people concur. If truly want biafra, then go and meet your reps to get referendum for you. If referendum is rejected in the house, the whole world will know how serious you guys are and how badly you want your contry. Come to social network where people exhibit their real character, like nairaland which is a faceless forum, this is where you understand the opinion of majority in any given matter. Majority of afonjas are afraid and against Biafra. Its only 2 out of 10 afonjas that will support it for only special reason known to them.
Average Yoruba man is against Biafra. I really pity you igbos. Even as many yoruba people have come out to support your cause, you still keep deceiving yourselves that Yorubas are against Biafra. You guys are deluded. You think you are special but you are not. Yoruba people will survive on their own without you. Donald duke should stop wasting his time. Nothing can make nigeria work. Black people dont like to make changes. Look at most African countries. The way the whites left its structure is the way they still are today. Apart from south sudan, 90 percent of african countries were created by the whites. Even though these countries are not working, the african black man will never make changes. Black people are mentally lazy |

EzeUche: No one is blackmailing them. If they want to remain in this contraption, then so be it.
A referendum will decide if they want to join us or not. It will not be by force like it is in Nigeria
If they reject Biafra, I will wish them good luck and we will move on. Why exactly must they have referendum to join you? Why not allow them stay on there own? You and i know that if the minority south e.g Ijaws are to choose between Ijaw republic and Biafra, they will choose the former. If you truly love them like you claim then you should know that carving majority Igbos could destroy their culture and their native language. If truly you want them to enjoy their resources, then let them stay on their own. If Nigeria separate you Igbos should better prepare for the worst because just like you want to be free, the minorities wish same. They do not want to stay with the three majority. They want to enjoy their god given resources so let them be!!!! |
