TravelRe: "There Are No Jobs In Dubai, Nigerians Don't Be Deceived" (Photos/video) by deedeedee1:
Not only in Dubai but even in European countries like the u.k. You will see many stranded Nigerian youths who cant come back to their country but will rather stay there. Right from 1960, Nigeria has always been hell. Dont tell me things were better then because they were not!! Unlike today, there was very few university graduates then. So competition for jobs were not like today. Remember the song "suffering and smiling"? It was sang in the 1970s. Four decades ago!! No be today Nigerians dey suffer.

It is not by force to live together. Countries dont grow like this. The only reason why africa cannot develop is because of too much diversity, not because of poor leadership. Tribalism is same as patriotism. When you have patriotic citizens, then corruption dies. We call it tribalism because we live in a diverse country. China with a population of 1.35 billion people does not have 300 ethnic groups. They have 56, with the largest(han chinese) occupying 92 percent of the country while minorities are 8 percent. The black man really need to think like human and stop being ignorant. Our ignorance has kept us backward. You cant put three majority ethnic groups with similar population percentage in a country and expect such country to grow. You just cant!!! They will always fight for superiority. There is a reason why nigeria has failed in every aspect. The yoruba people, igbo and hausa are almost 40 million each. This is enough to form different prosperous countries. Let us stop being ignorant like our fathers and grandfathers were. If we follow their path, our children will suffer more than we are today.

I do not believe that first picture is real. Children are not give tribal marks at that age. Even if real, yoruba dont give tribal marks at such age.

This is the reason why we are not moving forward in this country..... Not because politicians are too corrupt not because the price of crude has dropped not because our education is poor but because we as a people we are divided.... No Nigerian ever sees things or make statements as a Nigerian it's always our tribe first or our religion first before we remember we are Nigerians..... SHAME!!!!!
Unfortunately, this is how it will always be until we disintegrate peacefully.

It seems this man himself does not know yoruba people history. 150 years ago, we were not classified as one. The ijesha man was known as ijesha, same with oyo, ijebu, ondo, ekiti, igomina, awori e.t.c. Each one of this tribes had their own respective king ruling them. We were not known as yoruba then. As an ijesha man, i will only respect him for being an oba but i wont give him much respect like i give oba of ijesha. I dont understand why these ones fight for stupid superiority. He is called olugbo of ugbo land not olugbo of yorubaland. SMH!!!

This men of god need to speak the truth. For how long will people be patient? Countries dont develop with prayer and fasting but with a good system. How can you carve 300 ethnic groups in a country and expect it to work? People can only be patient when they see a brighter tomorrow. Unfortunately, there is no brighter future for nigeria. So baba speak the truth and let the devil be ashamed!!!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is Not A Nation, It Can Never Work! by deedeedee1: 9:43pm On May 14, 2017
Op, you are a smart person. It takes only a intelligent person to see and speak the truth. Unfortunately, how many africans are as intelligent as this? How many are ready to speak the truth instead of being ignorant? I was suprised when i heard that togo, a country of just 6.5 million has about 33 ethnic groups. Until and only until a black man uses his head, he will never move forward.

You have poor comprehension issues. Read my post again, this time, slowly. To reiterate, I sid most Yoruba Christians voted Gej and 99.99% of Muslims voted Buhari. Only very few Christians voted Buhari. These few Christians that voted Buhari fall into the category of liberals (agnostics, atheists, free thinkers and liberal chrsitians) who were willing to give Buhari the benefit of doubt and desired true change. This is the same category I fall into. Prior to the campaign, all my friends who were pro Gej and anti Buhari were Christians while those who were pro Buhari and anti gej were Muslims while few christian liberals like me who don't do party politics chose to go with buhari becuase we felt gej was corrupt and we trusted Buhari to right the wrongs. Although the muslims and the few Christians who voted Buhari had different motives. While the former voted along region lines, the latter voted along common sense and desire for true change. Yes, you may argue that that isn't suffiecient evidence to reach a conclusion. yes, i agree...but I don't need a million evidence to reach a conclusion as well. This few sample data isn't far from what the true state of things were.

If licking the ass of your slave masters up north is a proof that I'm Yoruba, then I don't want to be Yoruba. You happy now? Now fckkk off!
You dumbass! You have no single proof that majority of yorubas that voted for buhari are muslims. Like i told you before, you are not yoruba!

It's visible to the blind that the number 1 ethnic group in Nigeria that opens a thread like this is Yoruba and sane people like myself keep asking whyhuh And there has been one answer to the "why"; jealousy.

Jealous people attack those they envy and yoruba people open threads like this to showcase their jealousy. so, pardon me and my brothers whenever we shout "afonja" in threads likes this because you guys has made it your trademark.
like i said before, how did you know that the op is yoruba?

Guy, please shut da fck up... Gone are those when I believed such trash.. Yorubas is hugely divided along religion lines. Keep on living in denial. The Muslims are different from the Christians, atheists and traditional worshippers. My loyalty is to my tribe first. I slay and decimate people here who insult my tribe.. But Yoruba Muslims, you guys think and reason like cows.. Even the election results show the SW is divided.. while most Christians voted Gej, Muslims voted Buhari..Obly very few liberals (atheists with Christian background and traditionalists) voted Buhari. And we have seen the light. we've since Buhari for whom he is. but you Yoruba Muslims keep on licking the assess of these people. them swear for you ni.

Stop playing that Yorubas don't care about religion card. Deep down you know the truth. While most Christians and atheists want the best and are advocate of true federalism, you pathetic Islamists have refused to progress. You're always on the same page with your slave master. you're anti progress. I have spent enough time on nairaland to know how pathetic you guys are and how the flattinose have always lumped all of us together thinking we're slaves.. I can never be a slave. You Yoruba Muslims have deep inferiority complex. You have made it a point of duty to live in perpetual servitude to your slave masters up north and you're dragging the rest of the sane Yorubas who want progress.

Guy, why don't you stay out of my mention, and go do what you know how to do best, which is your lick buhari ass and his aboki brothers. mthcheww
how the hell do you know that i am a muslim? You must be very dumb for writing this nonsense. You said "yoruba christains" voted for goodlucj while the muslims for buhari. How the hell did you come up with that? Where did you get the statistics? This alone shows you are not yoruba.

Which simple question did he ask? who said that igbos have been the only one agitating for biafra? who said igbos are begging other southsouth minorities to join the course? do you need photos of biafran protesters of no igbo origin agitating for biafra in delta and rivers?

I know your pain. You are pain because igbos are not calling for" united south " thus, Yoruba race feels excluded. I bet if this biafran agitation would've included yorubas am sure all these Yoruba people saying shi.t about biafran struggle will desist but it's quiet fortunate for igbos and unfortunate for yorubas that we the biafrans don't want any back stabber in our biafra. Take heart and go form oduduwa republic with people from Benin republic.
lols!!! What the ffffuuuk? Where did you see me ask for southern unity? That is the last thing i will ever ask for. I only told that guy not to mention yoruba because your struggle is not our business. Who told you Yoruba people feel left out? Have you seen any yoruba that ask to join biafra? So how come do you feel yoruba people feel left out? Yoruba people are large and do not need you in anyway. Just stay on your lane and stop shouting yoruba in every thread that does not concern them.
SIMPLE!!!

You are not Yoruba!!! I really pity you because Yoruba people do not care about religion. Religion matters less to us. We care about what will benefit us as a people with similar culture and language.

Foreign AffairsRe: Emmanuel Macron Sworn-in As French President (Photos) by deedeedee1: 5:17pm On May 14, 2017
This is what happens when you live in a country that share a similar culture and language. A young man like this can never rule a country like Nigeria because everybody is fighting for ethnic superiority. In Nigeria, we all fight for what will benefit our tribesmen not really about what will benefit the country. Until we speak the truth that Nigeria will never be a united country, the better for us and the generation to come. The Yoruba ethnic group are larger than European ethnic groups like Norwegians, swedes, fins, Greeks, welsh, and so on. There is no benefit in living in a large country with many differences. I will rather live in a country with a small population that share a common language, culture that is peaceful and with a prosperous system than a country like Nigeria with large population with many differences whose system has failed overall.

This is an interesting read. It is appropriate to say then that the Igbos and Yorubas got the short end of the 'Project Nigeria' stick right from the onset and i think working together of the two tribes, is what will actualize the aspirations and desires of both of them in this contraption called NIGERIA.
The south west have nothing in common with the igbos. The only solution to this hate is to let both live in separate countries!!
