The only problem we have is senseless leaders.
Military generals pushed the country to this very bad state.

If we have determined president the country can weather the storm and be a great country.
Baba for how long will you stop blaming your leaders? You blame your leader as if they were not raised in the same society as you and me. About sixty years ago, your grandfathers blamed the leaders, your fathers did the same, now you are also blaming your leaders. Most of the leaders today were not known about 20years ago. The leaders are not the problem but instead the system is. You cannot carve hundreds of ethnic tribes in same country and expect them to act as one. Especially a country that was forcefully created without the natives approval. The reason Ghana and Botswana have little corruption is simply because of ethnic similarity.

nigeria should stay together if we get things working well.

There is strength in togetherness.
there is strength in togetherness when you share something in common. Not in a country with 300 ethic groups!!!
PoliticsRe: R by deedeedee1: 9:54am On Apr 30, 2017
Let it break. We do not share a common language and culture. The british created nigeria not we.

Like we give a pooo. Respect is not by force. Let both of them go and sit down one place jor! The ooni of ife is not superior to any king in yorubland. Every town and tribe in yorubaland have their own king. He is the ooni of ife not ooni of youbaland. I as ijesha do not recognize his throne. Let him go and sit down. Nonsense!!!

SirShymexx:
Lmao @ 41-year old Klischko knocking AJ out.

When was the last time Vlad Klischko knocked out anyone taller than 6'4 with almost the same reach reach as him? I'm sure you know Vlad and Vitale are two different Klischkos, no? Better don't waste your money on that type of bet because it's never going to happen.

Both have almost the same reach and height. Both had great amateur careers with Olympics medals...so they can both box. However, AJ has the advantage in age, agility, power, hunger, and raw strength - while Vlad has experience to his advantage.

Don't expect AJ to fight him the same way he fought Dillian Whyte due to emotions and wanting to shut the guy up. He's going to box him, take away the highly effective jabs, and wear him down with speed and pot shots. The 41-year old wouldn't be able to deal with what's going to hit him once it's past the 6th round. If Klischko is going to have a chance - he has to do it from round 1-3. After that, his chin and old legs would have to come up big. Put your money on AJ...he's in his best shape ever and he's hungry.
sirshymexx i hail ooo. I do want omoluabi to win today sha.

Good!
In Edo maybe you all silence your women.
We do not do so in Yorubaland, she is in our soil now, and a Queen....free to open mouth and speak, in the tradition of Yoruba women!
i am not from edo. All i am sayin is she should not interfere in yoruba matter. Simple!!
CultureRe: Hierarchy Of Kings In Yoruba Land: The Top 5 by deedeedee1: 4:29pm On Apr 27, 2017
It is high time you stop saying this nonsense!!! There is no number 1 king in Yoruba land. Before the British came, Yoruba were never known as one. So when did all these ranking start? Ijeshas were known as ijesha and they had their own ruler. so with ijebu, ekiti, oyo. There is no number 1 king in yoruba land. Every king in Yoruba is number 1.
Not to forget. you guys have to stop calling the oba of Benin Yoruba. The Benin people language and culture is different from ours.
CultureRe: Monarchs Superiority- Queen Of Ife Responds by deedeedee1: 4:19pm On Apr 27, 2017
MayorofLagos:
To respond this way, the effect of westernization is biting you, not the Queen.

At no time in history has the Yoruba woman lost her voice in society, never has and never will!

Take it from Mayor!
But this woman is edoid and not yoruba. She should keep her dirty mouth shut!!!!
CultureRe: Monarchs Superiority- Queen Of Ife Responds by deedeedee1: 4:06pm On Apr 27, 2017
The ooni of ife boundary stays within only ile ife. there is no superior king in Yoruba Land. I as an Ijesha man do not recognize his throne.
CultureRe: Oba Akiolu Publicly Humiliates Ooni Of Ife (PHOTOS) by deedeedee1: 4:00pm On Apr 27, 2017
Though i do not support the oba snubbing ooni but i think people have to stop trying to compare which oba is superior to another. No monarch in yoruba land is superior to another. The ooni is not superior to other obas. He is simply the ruler to ife people not to ijeshas, ijebus or the yoruba people at large. Akure have deji, ondo have oshemowe e.t.c

Since this man became governor, i have never heard him put policies in place for creation of jobs or anything that will better his people. Instead the only thing i see him doing is to buy akara and bread, fish on the road. How has this helped his people? Mr. fayose, this not why you were voted for.

PoliticsRe: Who Is Responsible For Nigeria's Woes. Our Leaders Or The System ? by deedeedee1: 7:22pm On Apr 24, 2017
MrMaestro:
I agree wholeheartedly with this.

Nigeria needs a revolution. As of 2016, 70.4% of Nigeria's population is under the age of 30. Let that sink in for a second. There is absolutely no reason as to why Nigeria shouldn't have a president that represents the ideals of the younger generation. Until the political sphere is taken from those who shouldn't be controlling it any longer, we will continue to have problems. We cannot continue to be cowardly as a younger generation. We must take our destiny in our hands, as it will never be given to us.
I disagree with you. You tend to forget that the people who drown regional government were the same youths. People like gowon e.t.c were all youths. The first coup and the revenge coup were all executed by young men who were not even up to thirty-five years. If the youths take over, Nigeria will get much worse because the youths are much more tribalistic than the old ones.

PoliticsRe: Who Is Responsible For Nigeria's Woes. Our Leaders Or The System ? by deedeedee1: 6:52pm On Apr 24, 2017
Realist2:
The problem of Nigeria is the Politicians, they have bastardized the system. We have about 109 senators ,360 house of Reps. Members and each of them take home over 2million monthly apart from other allowances . Now, since this administration, what development has anyone done?, Nothing.
They are not productive, they swindle our collective partrimony lay it up for their unborn generation or idle in a foreign bank ( the money they don't need ), the money is being used to develop another nation, some of them die without a trace of money in that country.
Let us kill all our politicians and share their wealth among everybody.
You can keep blaming your leaders till eternity like your leaders are from russia
PoliticsRe: Can This Happen In Nigeria? Lessons From The French Election. by deedeedee1: 6:29pm On Apr 24, 2017
Nigeria can never be like France because of ethnic sentiment. Every ethnic group in Nigeria is fighting for supremacy, so it does not matter if their tribesmen is scandalous or not. All want we want is power. You can not compare such to a country that is dominated by a single culture.
