Hemanwel: I guess his second stint as governor made him wiser and enabled him to correct his first stint flaws.
Perhaps, another reason we should give GEJ the number one seat in Nigeria so as to do the same thing.
My take. He's total failure just like the rest with the exception of Segun Oni, there's no improvement on the life of average Ekiti people, most young people have left the state for other part of the southwest. |

It's here that I learnt its from UK. Was shocking to me too. Lagos ibadan newspapers has a history of distorting the truth. Google GTBANK UK GTbank was formed in 1988 by over 35 young Nigerians in their thirties, spearheaded mostly by Tayo Aderinokun and Fola Adeola, but also included Femi Pedro, Gbolade Osibodu, Femi Akingbe, Akin Opeodu and others.

Even in worldwide ranking of ease of doing business, small and little known countries like new zealand, iceland, singapore etc, are ranked above USA, UK, China and the likes. The matrices these organizations look out for are not bigotry or what not....But in any event, its good to see the North make us proud as we've always done. Literacy level, security and per capita nominal GDP in Singapore, Iceland and New Zealand are higher than USA, UK and China and don't forget they also rank above them in HDI (Human Development Index). kennywagz: Quite the opposite boss, I want nothing more than to live a happy life with my family, we are very poor and I am working hard to help, even while still in school. My parents marriage I don't even know where it's going too,i was my mums favorite child, I always advice her I talk to her, i advice her a lot before I go back to school. That as a wife and a mother there are things you shouldn't do. But she likes to cling to her own way of life.... You too imagine this you have a wife, she doesn't respect you, she hasn't spoken to you in more than 5 months, she does nothing just go to her workplace come home and sleep without care if her children Will eat or not. That sheybi there father is there. Your own wife o....For 20 years I just remove my hand in the marriage aspect cause am tired.. Advicing her dosent seem to help. Am a very easy going person There are questions that your mum, you, your dad, your mum relative needs to answer before a competent counselor. Mental health issues can make the most caring person go rogue, it make people unpredictable. Your mum have psychological problems and various reasons can be allude to be the cause. For example there was a time I used to recruit people to hate those that I need to iron some stuff with and after I see that reasonable amount of people already hated that person then I will feel fulfilled and those that refuse to that refuse to hate that person will automatically be my enemy though I already outgrown it, It's normal to be like that because it's part of a lot of people personality, I know there is somebody you don't like and you wish the whole world shouldn't like them too. Your mum temperament couple with psychological well-being is cause of her problems help her in any way you can. If you are in Ekiti environment it'll be very easy for me to help you out. |

kennywagz: exactly boss, people are asking me to beg her and settle... People I have been doing this for long and it's starting to seem somehow... She once said she could kill me and nothing will happen sheybi na she born me You're already made up your mind because I can easily deduce that from the you only agree to the negative advice and comments about your mum that means you're just like her. People already gave you numerous causes of the problem but you hold on to the one that are against your mum. Let me tell you that I did caused my mum to have mental illness because I'm naturally stubborn and troublesome in my early childhood (till 12) and I was told that I gave her a lot of trouble during pregnancy and childbirth as well. The woman was overprotective for the first 6 years due to her experiences and start beating the hell out of me from age 7 upward still I didn't change. Every time if I don't come with one part of my body broken I will sure have blood coming out of my body due to wound, she spent millions every year and keep borrowing. She already fight with most of our neighbors too because they told her I was possessed. She started talking to herself alone and hardly talk to her husband, neighbors, sometimes she'll behave somehow, cry most time. The day she made up her mind to end her life and mine was the day she got help, the only thing that saves both of us was her telling me that anytime I make her cry again she will herself and I, and I happily tell my classmates that I will die tomorrow with my mum. The school authority call one of her siblings which she respect most and that person invite her to spend few weeks with her because she gave birth and that's where they introduced her to psychologist and that's when she got liberated. Any time I came home with wounds she'll let me suffer from it for few days and I started hating her Isstart learning how to play safe. After primary school she sent me to boarding school I spent only one term because I came home malnourished and sick, I realized I couldn't live without her and I hate her more finally when she liberated herself finish she sent me to her mum and grandma (my grandmother and great grandmother) in the village. That's how the problem was solved. She's successful and I'm successful and that's how the problem was solved. And I love my mum pass anything and I will do anything for her. You should be looking for way to help your mom out of her life misery, Instead of you to be looking for the solution you're looking for a way to hate your mum more.. |
Family › Re: I Almost Had A Fight With My Mom by DeejaywonDJ1(m): 11:48am On Jan 13, 2021 |
ModestGal: Don't take all the advice's on page 1 Your mum is your mum, and no matter what, you should treat her well. Your mum is in pains, she's deeply wounded, she's acting like a wounded dog. It could be from childhood or during her young age, she wasn't understood, everyone always blame her, no one listened to her, and thus she already see everyone as an enemy, and she doesn't care if the whole world see her as a bad person any longer, she will always fight when she feels cheated or wrong
Prolong injustice is usually the cause of such bitterness and anger to everyone, and how people always support the oppressor and fight the oppressed. This made her to detach her love from everyone, because she sees them as evil and that no matter how she behaves, they are there to blame her.
The truth is you are part of the problem including your father, maybe she's used to you sideing your father without listening to her own side of the story and she joined you in her mind with the people she has termed evil. Truth is, many a times we blame the victims in this part of the world. And I have seen it a quite number of times, especially people that fight everyone, they are usually the victims.
Have you ever taken your time to see the reasons she despises the people she despise? Sometimes, neighbours would look for her trouble because they want to show the world that she's always fighting everyone
In her mind, you are a bastarrd, because she also see how other people's children treat their mothers like goddesses, and you don't. All her curses are from pains, and fighting neighbours are from pains. She's a wounded soul and she needs treatment, the only way to heal your mother is to through love.
In this part of the world, people like pinching people they perceive weak, or with a problem. It goes in two forms, the victim will become stupid and dumb when people pinch her or even beg them or do what they want, and in the other case, she becomes a wild dog herself, because she's already expecting people's pinches
You said she didn't forgive your uncle after 20years of marriage, do you know if he attempt to rape her or even raped her? Will you forgive such person after 50years?and she wasn't able to speak or say to anyone, it could be an offence higher than that as well. I saw this happened to a friend after marriage. So please, you can't just assume until you know.
Don't be useless, prostrate and beg your mum with a teary eyes, why she's what she is. Only she has the answers Most Truest opinion and advice. We don't take Mental health issues seriously in this part of the world. |

Community development which education is part of is the responsibility of everybody (both government and the masses) the mistakes we make is that we put everything in the care of the elected leaders whereas we are the real government. Majority of schools in US and Europe are funded by the government, the school alumnae, donations from individuals/corporations and funds from NGO's. Just Imagine the quality of primary/secondary school with those streams of funds entering into her pulse yearly. |

macof: From wikipedia
according to what I have read, Aganju is the force in Hot places and the unknown/unexplored eg. Deserts, Volcanoes He is responsible for the mysteries of the unknown and burning desires/emotions i.e anger, hatred, curiosity etc.
@folykaze.
Orungan represents Solar Air, i.e Oxygen (emitted from the Sun's heliosphere) which literally intermingle with hydrogen across the atmosphere to produce Water on earth. If Aganju is Shango's father as well as Orungan than he should be related to the Solar energy which possess thermal energy that charges up in the atmosphere as one major component of lightening. Today this same thermal energy is converted artificially to produce electricity
Helium is a gas of unusual high temperature, it is responsible for the heat we get from the Sun. and Thermal energy is the energy of a single body by virtue of temperature.
All these has made me see a side of Aganju I never realized We're already closer than I thought in teaching science in Yoruba, those names can be converted to Yoruba scientific terms |

If you want to argue, I will post some pictures of random Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo or Shanghai skylines. But then I'm not against the good idea of incorporating local designs. That's is good and I said so in my earlier post, I never said they don't have buildings with local architectural imputs, I was replying a post that suggested that Asians insist almost totally on local designs. High rise architecture designs are not western tradition but base on inspiration, creativity of the architect |

How we dress, what we eat are cultures clearly different from way of worship.

Even though I've been a born again Christian of over 25 years, I think we Christians really need to let the sleeping Dog lie. I have been to several Arab nations on tourism and Evangelism and I can attest to the fact that Arabic remains one of the unique and outstanding languages on earth. What is the big deal in having Arabic inscriptions on Naira notes and Army uniform? Nigeria is a country of Muslim majority and due to their numerical advantage I think the Muslims deserve to have the Arabic as a national symbol. I mostly prefer to read my bible in Arabic language for better understanding despite being a Christian. The Muslims in this country have never complained of the fact that the national language is English. The Christian missionaries brough English language to Nigeria and our dear Muslim brothers easily accepted it without fuss. Why are we Christians trouble some unnecessarily? We Christians really to be careful not to cause a national disaster We call them "CINO - Christians in name only". They'll never practice what Jesus teaches, they interpret Jesus words to sooth their own actions. |
