So perhaps GEJ sees into the future.. .the governorship ambition may not be the ultimate goal, rather he probably might be better off running for senate, and taking over the senate presidency... Come 2015 I believe Ribadu will be in a better position of power rather than just a mere state governor...

all4naija: I quite agree with you on the security issue but it is not the only thing mentioned in the ranking. In fact, the buck of the problems has be placed on poor development(physical and human). There is lot missing in that area. I have always pointed out there is need for massive infrastructure provision in all sectors of the society.

Talking about budget, the government hasn't done enough to secure the loopholes in the revenue collection. There is no proper taxation in the country. That goes a long way to prove that they just seat there and wait to make noise while nothing is done to collect tax from citizens and use it for what it's meant for. Nigeria is not organized. That makes it difficult to run things effectively and realize most objectives which could help us to avoid those troubles.

There is need for change. That has to come with getting organized. When that is addressed building a better and working institutions becomes easy. I have always talked about getting organized in this forum.

all4naija: This is a sad news for Nigeria. It is still one of the viable economies in Africa though. The government needs to take this indication and us it to make changes. This is what is annoying about that country. Nobody is willing to do something than complain of blackmailing or oppression. People just seat there and make noise.

hansad: APC vindicates itself of Boko Haram and its violenc? Jokers. One thing with APC top leaders is their belief that most Ngerians are stupid. So na whiteman Davies shall now come from Australia to tell us the genesis and funders of Boko Haram? Nonesense. Even the link of Ihejirika with Islamists is ridiculous. What does he gan from aiding Boko Haram who has been bombing his brethren? Northern governors adopted sharia rule. Boko Haram emerged and said it is fighting for sharia. Most of those northern governors that introduced sharia are now in APC. Whither APC vindication?

litetias: When some while back the former NSA Azazi who was himself a member of PDP said that BH was a product of the PDP I expected that revelation to bring about the end of BH. However he was sacked and few months later killed in an helicopter crash. Also the president said that he knows the sponsors of BH and they were in his own government. I also expected the end of BH however he changed his tune and started singing that they are faceless. Nobody knows it all but as an intelligent human being it's clear to me that the president has the full confidential file of BH but cannot do anything about it because that would mean destroying the very party that brought him to power. His desire to run for a second term means he cannot destroy the very vehicle that he wants to use. There's no president who will not use his powers to bring down the opposition party if he finds out that they are responsible for the terrorism in his country. His shielding of corrupt politicians within his government from being prosecuted by the EFCC goes a long way to show he values partisan politics than the collective good of the country.
