The native Americans never said they have immigration laws that were flouted or did they?
:
Quit the absurdity. Venturing unwelcome unto the territory of other nations has ALWAYS been unacceptable in the moral and legal ethos of EVERY civilization and it is disingenuous to pretend that the modern invention of visas is what defines this principle when such unwelcome invasions have not only been the cause of wars throughout history but in fact led to wars between the Native Americans and the invading Europeans.

internationalman:
Not entirely true, but you have a point though.

The US imports oil despite high production due to a mismatch in crude oil types, as many US refineries are built to process heavier, sour crude, which is often cheaper, while the US produces more light, sweet crude. Additionally, location and transportation costs can make it cheaper to import oil to certain regions from Canada or Mexico than to transport it domestically from other US states.

Its becoming clearer by the day that Wole Soyinka didn’t deserve that Nobel Prize. We can all see that from his character. He only got the award because other African authors at that time shunned the prize in protest but Wole, being the cunning man he is sneaked behind and collected it.
:
I dont know about this, what I do know though, is that Chinua Achebe was a better writer x 10 and deserved it more.

-----------------

The Debate: The main controversy wasn't a formal "boycott" but centered around a long-standing literary debate about the nature and direction of African literature, often seen as a rivalry between two schools of thought represented by Soyinka and his fellow Nigerian writer Chinua Achebe.

The Criticism: Some critics and writers felt that the Swedish Academy's choice favored Soyinka's more European-influenced style and complex language over the direct, socially committed, and more widely accessible prose of writers like Achebe.

Achebe's Position: While there was this underlying debate, Chinua Achebe himself often downplayed the importance of the Nobel, calling it a "European prize, not an African one," but his position was not a call for an outright "boycott" of Soyinka's win by a group of African writers.

Is south korea and usa oil producing countries? Why are they getting 3 biggest refineries each ahead of even Saudi? Venezuela with their big refinery, still not ok in terms of economy
:
The USA is an oil producing country, even one of the largest. It's just that it's consumption is so much that it still ends up importing more. So it's not an exporter.

Watching the video below made me prouder to be Muslim. It’s a content a that shows the stack differences between how underprivileged strange people are treated both in a church and a mosque.

I have not opened this, but I believe I saw it on Youtube. Note that while I dont excuse the hostile reception of the churches, there is a difference. The churches visited were formal establishments while the only two mosques visited were street side, street corner kind of gathering places and this likely may account for the difference in reception of the content creator.

If he had gone to a large formal mosque like the National Mosque or Lekki Mosque, then there would be an equivalence to genuinely see the difference.

If you don't want Palestinians to keep dieing,, turn your attention on Hamas. If Hamas doesn't shoot, Israel will not shoot. I'm still waiting for you to condemn Hamas for killing firing at Israeli positions in the first place.
+
Sometimes I wonder how you sleep at might with a conscience burdened and so heavy with support for mass murder.
Be honest - they did one round of killing already before this, over allegations of Hamas not returning dead bodies. Who starts killing more people over corpses - except those who are waiting for the flimsiest excuse to kill?

Secondly who kills 104 people in retaliation for one death? Mind you, it is not proven that it is Hamas that killed that one soldier. But even if they were, this kind of over reaction is why the world has come to despise the Israeli administration. No person of conscience will ever applaud it, especially when half of those massacred are children.

You call yourself a Christian and you know Christ would never take the stance you are taking in a million years. Never.

Is it not true that the Quoran says Musa practiced magic when he responded to the deeds of Pharaoh's magicians.

Secondly were angels not said to be sent to Babylon who taught people magic, even though they claimed that people should not disbelieve as a result?

Thirdly was Mohammed himself not put under a spell by sorcery with the incident of a comb being bespelled and put in a well? How could the Prophet be spelled by sorcery?

you can not even estimate the number of people using mobile phone service subscriber count. Some people have more than 5 registered phone numbers. Some mobile numbers are registered to devices e.g. vehicle tracking software. Some of us have never owned a mobile device

Nigeria is not up to 200 million. That number is around 100 million or less
Mobile registrations are only one method to get a hint. There are many methods which even include population estimation by satellite images. The population of Nigeria is not estimated only by census. International bodies have sound technical ways of estimating it and many such bodies estimate us at 230 million.

What about the voters register, it's entirely fake as well?

What about NIN. Do you know 126 Million have been registered so far?

What about BVNs, do you know it's over 60 million as of this year?

There are many pointers that we are FAR over a hundred million.

u don't wonder why some states in North have better road infrastructures than some so called oil producing states in the south, especially south south, when I see some SS people complaining about other people stealing their oil money, I tell them to better hold their governors responsible, a state like jigawa should not be looking more advanced than bayelsa or delta...... U r right about the emptiness though... I still don't believe we are up to 200 million people in Nigeria.... U can travel for more than 3 hours in Niger state without seeing a significant village or town
We definitely are . . . . regardless I understand your hesitation believing it, when there are places in this country where they count cattle in census figures . . . .

How to know we are? There are some indices that can tell . . . when you look at mobile subscribers alone, you get an idea (notwithstanding that many people have more than one line - still many more - especially in rural areas, have none at all still). Over 170 Million subscribers as of May 2025. That gives you an idea.

If you look at the voters registered in the last election, almost a hundred million people. . . . all of these give an idea and a hint.

That’s actually a misuse of the no true Scotsman fallacy. It only applies if someone redefines Islam to exclude wrongdoing but that’s not what’s happening here. The point is that the Qur’an itself never commands killing for disbelief or apostasy; it explicitly says, there is no compulsion in religio. The distinction isn’t about true vs false muslims. It’s about the difference between Islamic teaching and political abuse done in its name.
