Firstly, this girl doesn't look her age so anybody could have wooed her without knowing except people who are privy to her details and age.


The police are right that as law goes, baba ijesha is a billable offense cos there is no where in this video we see anything pertaining to rape and not even an assault cos there was no case of violence here. Just some poor level of resistance all because the lady is playing a script.

However, Baba Ijesha is wrong cos this is an indecent act committed by him. No doubt he is promiscuous and to think he could not even care about age, he is really a disappointment. How can he allow his dick lead him cos all the signs are there. You met everyone at home and they left you with a girl who should be scared.but rather confidently played along. So shameful.

Those calling rape, you all just looking means to vent the anger and frustrations, seeking conviction and as usual, meting jungle justice as always but based on evidence, this not a rape case. Even more is not a molestation but obviously, he needs to be rebuked and am sure the humiliations he already experienced will be a life lesson for him. If the law decides to sentence him join, he brought it on himself however I believe such justice could be tempered with some mercy. He is just been a foolish man.

That been said, we should not exaggerate this cos the evidence are clear. To some extent, the evidence also show some level of consenting else, cos it is premeditated and with a good lawyer, he did probably get off the hook. The only issue here is the minor. That is all that is against him.

However, a lawyer friend has a different opinion as below:

Consent
Did the girl issue a consent for this act? Yes could be a safe answer as she was playing to a script to allow him touch her that way (after-all we all know it was a setup). Indeed her consent was given by way of agreeing to play that script, then sexual harassment can be ruled out. (Princess messed up here, perhaps out of ignorance. You can not permit a minor to play such an adult role)

For me, i see the guy walking out with minute scratches based on the fact that the law itself is not fully established. Did you read the police comment about this event being a bailable act? That might be a tip of what may happen, perhaps the only reason they are still keeping him in custody is for his safety against a mob action and not for the perceived inappropriate act. With a good lawyer, this guy might claim to practice a religion that supports child marriage/sex and walk away on basis of freedom to practice his religion and belief system.

This should be a clarion call to our leaders, they need to make and establish laws without double standards. This event may never raise an eyebrow in northern Nigeria, as we see Governors still actively involved in child marriage .

It is very dicey, a conflict between morals and laws....

I met this girl last week, we discussed for a while then i let my intentions known to her... She accepted and fell in love with me...

TBH i loved her too unconditionally, after 3days she paid me a visit, we talked, got to know each other better and ended up having an epic romance but no sex because i had no condom at home when she visited....
