Dantedasz: Were these the players Sir Alex used to win the last title? Only De gea,Phil Jones,Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young remain at the club from the players who won the last premier league title. I may be wrong but that is what I can pull out of my head right now. Sir Alex saw the pending decline of the club and quickly retired before he would be disgraced. There have been four managers since Sir Alex quit as the manager with the same poor results. That should tell you something is wrong. 1.David Notes. 2. Ryan Giggs(care taker status) 3.Louis Van Gael who won the F.A cup. 4.Jose Mourinho who won Europa cup. This shows the problem is deeper than sacking the manager. I believe it has more to do with finances. Liverpool and Manchester City have unlimited war chests to sign any player they want. In fact looking at these team's they have at least two world class players for every position in the team. Manchester United can not compete with these two teams except we get a sugar daddy Arab financier to buy out the debt the Glazer family has plunged the club into. By the way when was the last time any of the Glazers was at Old Trafford to watch the team play? It tells you something doesn't it? I have been a supporter long enough to know Mourinho is a dead man walking until either January when the window opens or June when the season ends. He will be sacked. I also believe Woodward has an agreement with Zidane to take over but whoever takes over the team without proper funding will always be in Man City and Liverpool's shadow except funding is provided to back the ambitions of the club. Anyway that's your opinion but I have to tell you that you've not been following the team or your just a mere spectator without any idea of the club. Funding is never the problem from the initial start of Jose reign as a manager, the board has been doing their best for the club and the manager but cannot see any improvement yet from him. If this business is yours will you continue to pump more money without any significant improvement. The players were acquired by him yet he gets fade up with each and every one of them within a short time, what does that tells you. Spurs didn't spend this amount yet they are playing good football, Liverpool didn't spend either etc. I bet you that Mourinho will still not achieve any good result if given the best world eleven now. May be you are a die hard Mourinho fan but just be fair and call a spade a spade, don't shift the blame to the board bcus I don't see any reason to blame them rather blame them for acquiring a manager that was rejected by Chelsea for his incompetence. |

You would say some already qualified clubs did not feature their best team early enough which they even later did and it was already too late to salvage anything at that time How else do u think big teams fixed matches, they do it an a professional way which is quite obvious but you cannot do anything. |

WHY CAN'T WE DRAIN THE SWAMP? WHY DO WE PERPETUATE THE SAME RECYCLED SHIT EVERY YEAR AS POLITICAL LEADERS ? WHY CAN'T WE TRY SOMETHING NEW. DO YOU REALLY THINK ATIKU IS GOING TO CHANGE NIGERIA FOR THE BETTER? HE HAS BEEN PART OF THE RULING ELITE SINCE 99. THE COUNTRY SITUATION IS GOING TO STILL BE THE SAME. LET US CHANGE THE NARRATIVE BY ELECTING NEW LEADERS WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THE CORRIDORS OF POWER. You are right but remember that we hv only two political party and those other parties are just there for the numbers. Even if we hv a better candidate from other parties, how are they going to get the votes. Even if the get massive votes they will still be rigged out. Cabals are the one controlling this country and those cabals are in the same APC and PDP. |

Health › Re: Growing Trend Of Young Men With White Beard by DEGABA(m): 7:40am On Nov 17, 2018 |
Serendip: Here is the answer
Back in the days men used the razor blade. With the razor blade, the grey hair only comes at the ‘normal time.’
However, with the advent of shaving creams and certain types of powders, men tend to dump the regular use of the shaving stick. Especially the busy/affluent/ rich ones.
The creams and the powders genetically impact the areas where they’re constantly applied, and that leads to the white/grey hairs.
I use razor and I don’t have such problem. stress is the cause not what u wrote here. |

The policemen took very unnecessary risks. We've seen suicide bombers pretend to be people in need of assistance.
This could have easily been a decoy. What if the health challenge was feigned to attract their sympathy, get them distracted and leave them vulnerable to attack.
Next time, The police should call for an ambulance while they keep at what they were sent to do.
Protect the highways from kidnappers and robbers. Hmm! Waiting for an ambulance to convey the corpse thereafter, that's very wrong. Kudos to them for not choosing your own option. |

kotv: I don't know why some of you keep asking the same question over and over again. It is not that difficult to figure out. The answer is very simple
They trying to make him lose that's why. Since when do an opposition start instructing their opponent how to win an election. If he picks VP from SW, they weaken his stronghold and that lifeless defeats him easily. If he does not, they have to work extra hard to rig him in because Buhari will get a fight of his life. They know APC/Buhari is hated severally in three areas, NC, SE and SS. All three combine knocks out SW votes. Even within the SW votes, the three equally have a significant number of their people contributing to the voting number there plus there are some yorubas who do not support Buhari so there's no guarantee block votes for Buhari over there but there is a guarantee block vote for Atiku in SS and SE but, if chooses a SW VP, that block vote is gone for Atiku. Atiku although not severally liked either but is seen more accepted by all than Buhari. They pretty much trying to knock him off his game but unlike the lifeless one, Atiku is actually semi-educated so I doubt he'll fall for it. Am from SS but i quite agree with you, having lived in Lagos and Enugu i can tell you that Igbos don't hate Yorubas as they do to Igbos. |

If Atiku want to loose disgracefully let him pick his vice from SW. SW is the stronghold of APC but Lagos will give him up to 40% of the vote and it's the state with the biggest population in SW. SE will give him 99.9% of vote and SS will gv him the same if he picks his VP from the SE. |

I still ask... Why is it that everything crumbles during Mou's 3rd stint? Is there anything behind it? Seriously, it's really worrisome. And United of all clubs. It's painful really. Although Man U ain't my team, but the fact that Mou is ruining a top club like Man-U is crest-fallen. The man is a confirm business man, portugues are whites but very close to black African in business acumen. He said and i quote after signing the contract extension "I AM NOW THE PRIVILEGE ONE". There is nothing wrong from anyway, that's his way of hoowinking his employers. Sack him and pay him handsomely or you stick with his mess up, any angle he's still the winner. |

SIRcumalot: our next manager must be a no name coach with a good track record of winning while still playing attacking football. But first we must rid the club of many of our players first. The next manager should do that bcus some of them might start performing when they see a new attack minded coach that understood modern football. |

dmcdad: I disagree with the emboldened.
Football and life in general ain't always like that. The fact that you've won some trophies in the past is not a yardstick that you'll win more now. Agreed, experience matters a great deal, but even you will attest to the fact that there are other factors that come into play too.
Zidane won a treble of the UCL title successively albeit with his supposed lack of experience at the highest level before taking the Madrid job. Pep did wonders at Barça as a rookie coach pre-Barca. It goes more than your past. How you can adapt your game to the present matters more than anything at the moment. Mourinho's tactics are outdated, plain and simple. This happens to be somewhat normal in the coaching field. But then, when it happens, what do you do? Do you keep on doing the same thing while expecting different results? Or do you take a step back and re-strategise before proceeding? The latter was what Pep did after his stint at Barça. The former happens to be what Mou is doing, and like every other thing in life, it will never change.
So, your past experience as a coach will count as nothing if you don't adapt your game to the need of the current trend. Thank you,u understood football. |
