Sophyrocks: Nigerians and their Nosyness. They always wanna use your age against you. Its a terrible culture we've got. We never have anything positive to say about the next person. We can use age to bring down the next person to make ourselves feel better. Thats hypocrisy and inferiority complex. I dnt blame people for hiding their ages. Even from the people ruling us down to the common man, they forge ages. Its a culture and its pathetic. I wish our mentality wasnt this horrible. We are tooooo age specific in everything. Almost always brutal.....Very true shaaa |

Weah96: Religion is organized corruption. On one hand, we have some pastors who are themselves victims of the brainwashing.
And then there are the atheist pastors. The ones who don't buy the nonsense, but are willing to use it to get rich.
At the head of EVERY FAITH HEALING church is an ATHEIST pastor. Bro, just yesterday evening, a friend and I spent more than 3 hours discussing how fraudulent the whole package of religion is. We agreed it's a tool to dehumanise people and keep them in check. I'm so happy for knowing this. I can't fall a victim of this scam anymore. I'm a Christian! |

Lovetinz: YES YOU CAN! The saying goes 'Age is just a number'. With determination and a little time, you will see visible (or is it audible) improvements.
By the way have you watched the movie 'the Pianist?' Its an Oscar winner and emotion filled.
I enjoy good classical music, and I will be looking forward to seeing (and hearing) you at the top! Thanks for these encouraging lines. Playing classical at a top level is a dream I can't describe with words. I will endeavour to watch the movie you described. I promise.. |

Today, I'm an Engineer. An HSE professional to be precise. I've been working in that field for over 5 years. It has put food on my table. It has played a huge role in my success as a brother, uncle, father and husband. Living without a decent job can be very challenging, especially in a nation without government's assistance in social safety nets. I'm rereally grateful to God for my job!
A few years ago, classical music has become a joy to me. I'm currently learning the piano, and also taking online lectures on musical theory. Whenever I listen to Mozart, Beethoveen, Bach, and other great classical pianists, deep feelings of joy and satisfaction flood my soul.
Is it too late for me to be a classical pianist? It's my dream! While I was in the Deeper Life Bible Church, an opportunity was created for me, but my parents scuttled it up for me.
Today, I'm looking for ways to achieve that childhood dream of becoming a classical pianist. I know Western pianists are more in demand in Nigeria, but I can't just let go of this burning desire to play the classical way.
Can I still achieve it? |

Christianity Etc › Re: Can a person Make heaven without baptism by dein77(m): 6:24am On Nov 20, 2014 |
Once a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour, they're born again, and are consequently candidates of Heaven.
Baptism doesn't add or diminish a Christian's entitlement to Heaven. Baptism is our physical demonstration of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, and how we have publicly decided to follow Him. It's advisable all Christians be baptised shaaaa
Remember the thief on the cross? He made heaven without having to undergo water baptism.
But new converts should undergo it. Shalom! |
