Who did they ranking?
The angels of God?
Or western think-tanks that hate anything Cuba-russia.?
And you believe all these ranking without independent proofs?

Which doctors came around to help Europeans during Covid?
Wasn't it the Cubans?
#misinformation

If you want information about the ranking, you can find it on worldpopulationreview.com

One thing is Cuba has always had a program since the 60s called Cuban Medical Internationalism where they send health workers particularly doctors to some countries in need of them , initial aim of this was to build diplomatic ties with other countries during the years of US sanctions, but as time went by , they also made some money from this program .

The country has a high doctor to patient ratio which makes it easy to send them outside , but a doctor to patient ratio isn’t the only yardstick for assessing how developed a country’s healthcare system is .

Thirdly, Cuban doctors are some of the lowest paid in the world as well , as a result, they are also eager to go on international missions to make more money . The pay in Cuba is as low as 50 dollars monthly and the cost of living is high as a result of years of trade sanctions and restrictions by the west .

WHY IN GOD'S NAME MUST AMERICA BE THE BENCH MARK?
WHY NOT CUBA ( which has one of the best health care system in the world: in case the western media don't tell you).

Cuba doesn’t have one of the best healthcare systems, it’s ranked 103 , even below Ghana at 100 , Nigeria is ranked 144

Obviously your husband has got alcohol dependence issues . Each time he attempts to stop, he develops withdrawal symptoms such as the shivering you described and unfortunately, he finds himself running back to it , it can get so bad that some of them have seizures when they withdraw from alcohol for so long 1. He can't stop drinking alcohol on his own , he needs to have his withdrawal symptoms treated
2. He needs medications to reduce his craving for alcohol, I don't know if the psychiatrist offered this to you
3. I wouldn't know if support groups like Alcohol Anonymous are available in Nigeria, if so , he needs to join one
He can't do it simply by stopping

Education / Re: Obinna Udeze Autopsy Result: Septic Shock Killed Pupil by delana(m): 4:45pm On Feb 28, 2022
pretydiva:

Thanks. Meaning this autopsy is false. A baby of 19 months can't die of this. Not possible

It seems you didn't get what he said quite well. Anyone at any age can die of septic shock. What happens is that an overwhelming infection gets into the blood stream, the immune system then overreacts , leading to failure of several organs including the heart .
The shock in this instance means blood the person's blood pressure drops significantly.

Now , back to this baby , beating a child of 19 months is a terrible and grievous offence.

However, if this autopsy were to be right , what it means is that the baby was probably sick as well asides the beating he received which could have contributed to his demise.

Being a presidential spokesperson has to be one of the most difficult jobs ever , you have to learn how to use falsehood to defend the obvious truth.
What was described about the state of the Nigerian economy by financial times is nothing but the absolute truth , the unfortunate thing is just that the Brits are also happy with the situation of things in this country, the amount of money they make from visa applications alone daily will never make them seek progress for this nation

Currently seeing the Algeria vs Ghana game, it seems the algerians maintain a high press when they aren't in possession, they are good passers of the ball as well, with a very mobile defensive midfielder.
Ghana on the other hand, i feel some of their players have the same deficiencies we noticed among some super eagles players as well such as,
poor ball control, positional awareness, misplaced passes, the wing backs not contributing to attack at all.

A good president from any of the zones can't fix Nigeria's problems alone. The structure of the country needs to be revamped, it will be difficult for any well meaning president to succeed with the current political culture.
It takes much more than one person to make things work.
Just take a good look at your local government, what impact has it had on the people despite it being the closest tier of the government.
Governance is far from the populace, we recycle the same set of individual because of that useless thing called 1999 constitution.

Lies!
That's why HMO system is onboard, because of greedy doctors like you.
I don't know if you have tried using a government hospital before, if you need to undergo a procedure, you would be told how much it will cost, but asides that, other fees like bedspace which is charged per day would be added to the final bill.
Now , this woman probably had ivf done which led to the triplets, she then had preterm delivery at 7 months necessitating the use of neonatal intensive care for the babies which my brother isn't beans at all to run, you can try asking how much neonatal care costs even in some government hospitals .
The point is the hospital isn't at fault neither is the couple, a good health insurance system would save people from this kind of situation.

I certainly believe you are a doctor, would you say that you would have spent less if you had been schooled in the UK or US? On standard of education abroad and in the country how come foreign countries recruit Nigerian medical doctors even though they are products of poor education and training. I know for sure that foreign countries would never bother to look at Nigeria if they don't have quality services from them
It seems you missed my point, you see if the government wants to increase the training fees for medical students, it's a welcome idea provided there will be a means of repayment as obtainable in other countries.
Secondly, doctors aren't requesting for millions, we are only saying pay something reasonable and make it regular, there is no point paying 250k , and it comes once in 5 months , it's unfair.

Any medic who wants to leave naija should go the UK route.
Go USA if only you are extremely intelligent, smart and diligent cos matching isn't easy. I didn't talk about the money too, its crazily intensive financially
I never said passing usmle guarantee matching into a program, I only disproved your statement about majority being Uber drivers.
What you have stated isn't wrong at all but my emphasy is on the word "Most " ,that's wrong and for matching, it's a bit easier to match into less competitive specialties like Family Medicine, Internal Medicine , and maybe OBGYN. Nonetheless, what makes the process tedious is the fact that they consider other things like publications and research experience when selecting candidates.

It's Nigeria and anything goes , thats why a whole employment scheme would be done , taking your doctors right under your nose and no one is batting an eye.
I would be glad if you could confirm how much unilag medical students pay currently, and even compared to other medical courses.

True , country is in a chaos but for once , we must speak the truth , if the medical education is that easy , why them no go Learn medicine for this same Dubai they're rushing to work ?

Call a spade a spade , they're swindling the govt and I think it's high time govt should stop funding medicine in federal schools.
The fact that they claim their education was subsidized doesn't translate to being treated like shit, if other sectors can't ask , someone needs to do the asking.
If you want to increase Medical school fees, no problem, ensure you improve the quality of training and provide student loans as well which we will gladly repay, but is the government willing to do that?
We have countries where Education comes at no cost and people are reasonably paid and not owed their dues for God's sake.
You don't pay salaries regularly and you expect them to keep quiet, has any of the ministers ever missed out on their allowances?

I took the time to read through the article, I am wondering what the government need to do. But as if I don't know, you see so long as political office holders continue their medical jamboree outside the country things will never change.

But on the other hand, there is the issue of the subsidy on the cost of going through the medical school in Nigeria. That on one side, the Doctors should also consider the health of Nigerians.

Like one chap suggested above, Nigeria can utilize the opportunity to produce more doctors and export them but they should also be willing to give back to the nation the money they've been given in Nigeria during their medical school years when the cost of their schooling was subsidized
This subsidized medical education sounds quite funny and that's the narrative painted by the government for the public.
Let me ask a question, even if you didn't study Medicine, the quality of education you got in a Nigerian University as well as the quality of life you experienced, does it worth paying millions?. Same scenario applies to med school in Nigeria , prior to graduating, they introduced a clinical fee of 100k per session asides school fees and accommodation making the total fee almost 200k , yet you have about 8 students in a single room at times and they claim it's subsidized.
Others will say Medical studies in UK, US, Canada is expensive forgetting that the quality of education and quality of life is worth it, secondly , there is facility for student loans which is repayable after graduating .
You want us paying millions for the current standard of Education in Nigeria, it's not possible and the government knows this.
What is more embarrassing is that neighbouring West African countries pay their health workers much better than Nigeria even with a poorer economy.

Cubans also have a longer life expectancy than us. They are sanctioned by America meaning they can't really trade with the global world yet they're still living longer than us. This is more proof that Nigeria needs socialism if we want to grow. Our economy is bigger than Cuba yet they still have a better quality of life than us. We need to stop listening to the west's lies on communism. Communism with Naija characteristics will save us! Capitalism is the reason why this country is a mess and it must be dismantled.
Capitalism has always been a scam, a mixed economy would have been more ideal, where government gets to checkmate the activities of the private sector.
A good example is the Cement Industry, if we had a government owned cement producing company with a reasonable price, Dangote and the others in that sector would be forced to beat down their prices.
Secondly, if the inflation rate was minimal, ie , most items remained affordable, I don't think anyone would be complaining about salaries, but can you imagine how much a load of bread is compared to 2019, yet salaries are not being paid.

I hope you are aware that Cuba is a communist society unlike Nigeria. The government fixes the price of every item and salaries as well.
The monthly pay for an average Cuban is 20 dollars, while for the doctors is 60 dollars.
This means that you are being paid relative to prices of commodities in the country.
Education and Healthcare in Cuba is free, at zero costs unlike Nigeria where you have to pay out of your pocket for healthcare , and even though we claim Education is subsidized, we still have to pay school fee.
