I'm a newbie in the stock market so i'll probably benefit a lot from other peoples' ideas. I'm just about to dabble into the Federal Government bonds in the market. Personally, i prefer to buy stocks for keeps rather than speculate and for this reason i don't buy everthing that is advertised. |
The Federal Government of Nigeria has inaugurated a new official web portal www.nigeria.gov.ng. Nairaland Users are invited to visit this site and offer their comments and suggestions in order to improve the site and the image of Nigeria. |
I'm scared to hell! |

If you have the time you can look up an english version of the Quran and you will find that Allah is sometimes referred to as God or Lord. You can also ask a Christian northerner what God is called in hausa. My answer is based on facts therefore the need for arguments is baseless. A bit of research might be worthwhile. |
Jesimiel, i beg to differ. Allah is the arabic and hausa word for God. It has nothing to do with having a son or not. Christians in the north refer to God as Allah in their language and that does not change the meaning for them. Likewise Muslims refer to Allah as God when translating arabic into english language. Whether God has a son or not is a different issue entirely. |
IAH and mamba, those are cool ones i ain't seen before. Olaide's chain letter depicts a Nigerian and of course Africans! The first time i received it, i had to forward it to specific friends who were so guilty. I once attended a workshop with an African who had his coffee from the milk jug even when tea cups were provided. He also took the laundry bag from the hotel home!! |
Talking about 'bata somi were were' reminds me of Yinka Davies' remix of that folk song. Quite nice and that is someone who goes the extra mile to perfect whatever she's doing. I guess that's why some regard her as being eccentric! |

VOIP can be done in conjunction with NITEL if you submit a proposal to that effect. |
Do you also know that NITEL has slashed its call rates? |
Someone is trying to tear Lord Williams' company apart. Bimbo is murdered, top directors of the Lord's companies have been arrested by the EFCC |
I think it will be viable for a new entrant considering the fact that unified licensing will be adopted in February 2006. |
@bell: That is exactly the point and that was why i said it wil be difficult for an indigenous company to win the bid alone. @Tobi: ZTE and Huawei do not have experiences as telecommunications operators. Rather they are equipment vendors but so far they have been doing wel and want to break into the Nigerian market. |
