Like I said before, your hide, ginger etc do they just go to the North, take their farms, harvest the available ginger without paying to the farmer who has grown that ginger and export his ginger abroad just as they do crude oil?. Are the farmers not the ones directly making cash from the sales of their products to exporters while the rest of Nigeria only shares from the duties, taxes etc paid?on the other hand, crude oil is not first purchased from the locals directly, exported and the revenue from exportation shared amongst Nigerian States. These are two different things.

North doesnt buy crude oil. They share from the revenue of crude oil whereas the rest of Nigeria buys their food with cash and all revenue stays in the North and it is not shared amongst the rest of Nigeria.The south buys petrol and others just like the North butbwe do not export their products and share the money amongst the other states. So they enjoy crude revenue for free while the rest of the country pays cash for their agricultural products.
See it this way, you sell fish and I have garri. You take my garri or revenue from my garri sales as a right but I must pay cash for your fish. Then you turn around and tell me I woukd die of hunger without your fish. If we want to play fair then you either give me fish for free as you enjoy the revenue from my garri for free or you should also pay cash for my garri as I pay cash for your fish. The revenue from crude does not go to the south alone. Can we also say the revenue from agricultural products of the north is shared amongst every Nigerian? No. We pay cash for their goods.

Northern farmers sell their goods to Nigerians while the South doesnt sell crude to the rest of Nigeria. Worse cones to worse North would remain with their food while the rest of Nigeria start embracing agriculture and sell amongst themselves and crude oil sold in like form to the North just as the rest of Nigeria buys their food.
