Judging from the experiences in Senegal, Sudan and Central African Republic, I would implore those clamouring for secession adopt the peace-talk option and opt for a round-table discussion on this matter rather than resorting to violence. Civil war is not the answer to the Biafra divide threat. A logical solution should be deviced to solve the ethnic, social and political issues raised by the Biafrans and the people from the Niger Delta region in other to ensure peace in the country. I would personally call for a referendum on restructuring the present political system in the country. Regional Government could solve this ethic problem.

In my honest opinion, Freeze isn't childish here. She has no right to curse anyone here. Are the people she is cursing or wishing an evil predicament responsible for her and her husband's woes? Lots of lives have been ruined, lots of families have been shattered so that herself, her husband and children can live an ostentatious lifestyle. Those are the real victims we need to spare a thought for, not her and her children. They aren't the victims here, they are the ones closely akin to the VILLAIN. Freeze behaved childish when he brought her kids into it. They did not direct their dad to steal in order for them to live large. They are victims here too in a way.

My babe called and said a guy bought her some present. To her greatest surprise when she open it lo and behold she saw panties, underwear and swemming kits inside.
I feel it is normal for someone to buy you a gift, but what is not normal to me is the motive behind it.
After she open the gift the guy now ask her out. She told him she is in a relationship already and she love her guy. The guy said no problem cus she can date us both and compare after which she will choose which she said no. The guy press on by inviting for swimming which she also decline.
My questions:
why will a girl even collect gifts from guys?
Is it even morally right for a guy after a girl told you she is in a relationship to still keep on pressurizing her.

Have you paid her bride price that you want her to not recieve gifts from others because of you?
If she decides to decline gifts it should be because she does not subscribe to what the giver of those gifts wants from her in return wether she is in a relationship or not.
To me she did wrong accepting those gifts if she knew she would not want to date him. She for no open am sef taljless of keep am.
A girl can double date same as men but sex should not be involved and each date shoukd not expect to recieve gifts and treatments meant for serious partners. When you two decide to settle with each other(exclusive) then you must be mature and make sure you are not in it for fun or to pass time.

Typical average Nigerian mentality. Does it concern you where he wants to keep his money? Developed country you say? Maybe since they do not have criminal minds like the average Nigerian who would rob you with no remourse that was why he was confident to keep his money at home? Had he known that most layabout Nigerians have the "make it by all means syndrom" he would not have kept that money at home because the moment he took that guy in, his home siezed to be in a developed country.

Good questions.
1) The economy was brought to its knees when the prices of oil crashed because the country rely majorly on export of oil as a source of income. This doesn't mean, there are no other sources generating income or capable of generating income.
Its just that, for years, the Governments (including your State's government) have neglected other economic activities which can be developed to generate greater income than oil.
2) There are many economic activities going on in Nigeria presently from which Government can generate substantial income through various forms of taxation but Government is not looking in that direction e.g Mining, Maritime, Agric , Power sector etc.

Oh well, my comment was based on your post that oil isnt the majour bulk of Nigerias Revenue..I know there are many other things we could benefit from in Nigeria but I fear that we are not in position to start doing them. I mean, our land would be totally messed up judging by how lax and greedy our leaders are there wil be too many conflicts and Nigeria as a whole would go to the dogs. Take blood diamond for example. Our leaders would sell out to foreign interests. Let us just balance well and reset our brains befote we start abusing the land even more.

Which means some men out there are sleeping with men too. They must have found out he was a dude in the process but still went ahead to do it with him. Some of them would be on NL now forming and insulting the dude.

True about spiritual unity makes a peoole stronger but just after the war I amvsure there must have been some distrust from the Igbos tiwards the yorubas. They may have seen it as another way of manupulation.
Although I strongly believe that the Igbos have a lot of selfish people anongst them who will seek to benefit to the detriment of their society which is not easily obtainable from the average Fulani/muslim or should I say hausas united by their religion. I will have to study this case extensively to know the mindset and what caused the divide.

After wars, it is hard to trust anyone or pattern.
