That was 4 years ago. There's been numerous negotiations thereafter and several payouts (if true). Yet, things are only getting worse.
Farmers whose produce have been destroyed have no compensation. Those displaced have been abandoned in IDP camps. Gumi only sees the nomadic Fulani suffering without due consideration for others. |

The bulk of the Sokoto-Badagry expressway lies within the North.
This is one meeting. It's wise to look at all the approved/ongoing projects for proper perspective.
PMB stopped Ibadan - Abuja rail line and the SE line in favor of Kano- Maradi rail line. He favored the North more in every way. |

Drug distribution is also different from the use of drugs. I pray that more clubs are visited. The impact of drugs on the lives of our youth is horrible. |

If the majority of the enrolees visit the hospital often or have complicated health issues, the money won't go far even with subsidy. I think LASG should consider having different insurance products based on peculiar circumstances and affordability. |

We should stop granting amnesty to murderers who call themselves bandits. They continue to live large while their victims, Christians and Muslims, live hopeless lives in IDP camps. People who have been forcefully uprooted from their villages should be assisted by FG to resettle properly while the terrorists are dealt with. When there are consequences for bad actions, peace reigns. |

Great pity that her problem started with her parents giving her out at 15 with no education or skill to live by. The chances of receiving help from them is slim so running back to Lebanon may not work out positively for her.
If there are laws that make men responsible for the upkeep of wives and children up North, she could key into that. I only know of Lagos in that regard. |

Politics › Re: Life Gradually Returns to deserted Igbo Communities Formerly Occupied by Gunmen by delpee(f): 10:49am On Oct 29, 2025 |
Faber: The story of Agbobu village in Okigwe local government, Imo state.
Unknown gunmen of Gentle De Yahoo group, who had their camp and base in Aku village , controlled many communities around Okigwe hinterland and Agbobu was dealt a heavy and fatal blow. They controlled the little village, raped their women and many youths and rich men of the community fled to Aba, Okigwe town, Owerri and some relocated to foreign countries.
When money was no longer flowing. These men from the deepest and darkest part of hell, removed the roofs, iron doors and windows of the community schools, local maternity and health center in the village and sold them off to scrap dealers. The schools were deserted. Children in the village have no school to go and no health center or maternity to care for the health needs of the villagers.
They didn't stopped there. They imposed monthly tax in the guise of security levy on the villagers, they made them enter into covenant and oat taking with blood of animals. Anyone that failed to comply were killed or marked for elimination.
Today the village lie in ruins, no schools, no health care centers, no roads... just a ruins, occupied by grieving and wounded locals.
This is a true story from a man from Agbobu, community that I met at a social function in Benin City, some weeks ago This is most disheartening. Which means that the story of Fulani invaders or NA oppression wasn't the issue. 😏 I pray that they experience perfect peace and progress on their return back home. I also pray that all those displaced in the North are able to settle back in their various villages soonest. |

Politics › Re: My Shop Was The Only One Demolished By The Lasg Because I’m The Only Igbo Perso by delpee(f): 2:59pm On Oct 28, 2025 |
Saturnalia: It is not the Lagos Government fault.
When shops were being demolished at Oshodi to make way for the road expansion and the new bus terminal; Human Skulls, Cut-to-Size Local Pistols, English Pistols and Effigies of Otumokpo were found at the demolished shops of the Yeebos.
The same thing happened at Yaba Railway.
You would agree with me, that naturally, wherever crime are prevalent or incorrigible people who are prone to criminal activities are concentrated, the searchlight of the security agencies and the Government itself are never wanting; simply because they do not want Lagos (their ancestral homeland) to be desecrated like Anambra or Abia States.
And the truth is; the Yeebos are going to be seeing more of these random demolitions in places like Festac, Ago Palace Way, Ajao Estate where they are mostly concentrated. This is because they always poke their noses in the affairs of their host communities while beating the chests that they are the lost children of Yahweh.
Well, in retaliation, let’s just say that the humble & wise children of Oduduwa would always assert themselves subliminally, which is the obvious result of what you’re complaining about.
Now candidly speaking; The Hausas and the Yorubas are not having problems in Ghana, Togo, South Afrika, Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso, India, Turkey, China, Thailand, Hongkong and Pluto; but only the people from a particular Nigerian Tribe. Why? This is so unnecessary. Bitterness and hatred aren't omoluabi values. |
