He has won their hearts by rendering good service.

May God touch the hearts of some self centred governors.
Family › Re: Guyz! What's Your Policy on Illegitimate Child From Your Daughter by delpee(f): 10:47pm On Oct 08, 2025
dawnomike:
Reprimand her, get to know the stupid guy that put her in the family way... After raising hell up and down, I will calm down, take care of my daughter to ensure she delivers the baby safely.
Afterwhich, I will ensure she gets back to the plan of building her life back on track and never allowing herself to be a mumu again.
Good. Plus getting to know the in-laws so they can get involved too. Not necessarily for marriage if the guy isn't interested but so that the child has balanced development.

Martinez39s:
I would ask her who the father is. Regardless of the answer, I would tell her to get her baby and go camp with the guy who impregnated her. As father, you must warn your daughters early on to avoid unwanted pregnancy or at aleast make sure they get pregnant for a guy who is capable and willing to house and take care of them and their kids.

If you get pregnant for a guy, you are leaving my house to go stay with him and I won't be responsible for you and your child. If the guy happens to be a bum or one irresponsible bad boy who wants nothing to do with you and your child, tough luck and go fend for yourself.
This isn't the best way forward if you want your daughter to stay alive and well. After the initial disappointment and anger, it's wise to ensure that her life isn't wasted because of one error.

Wickedness! They're the reason why gas is now so expensive. They're making life more difficult for the masses they claim to be helping.
Politics › Re: Insecurity: Kwara Bleeds by delpee(f): 9:52pm On Oct 06, 2025
From the story, it seems everyone is aware of the location of the bandits. Why is it difficult to deal with them ?

I remember when some terrorists were in Lagos swamps and creeks wreaking havoc. The Governor worked with security agencies to clean up the area. Peace reigned thereafter. Hard decisions are needed not forgiveness for unrelenting terrorists.
Politics › Re: I Notified Nigerian Military But My Request Was Ignored – Borno Governor Zulum by delpee(f): 8:03pm On Oct 06, 2025
When there's no punishment for criminality, evil thrives. We can't be pampering "repentant terrorists" while victims suffer and expect better behaviour.

It is getting clearer that LASG is doing sentimental cleansing. Can the same rule be applied to Ebute-Meta, Lagos Island, where houses are clustered without PLAN. grin grin grin grin grin
I am not Igbo but I and many others of various tribes (mostly Yoruba) are also battling with LASG in respect of proper documentation of land and building approval. It is necessary in a sane environment. We've received notices and are complying.

FG owns Trade Fair land but town planning and building approvals are done by State Governments. Those whose properties are duly approved will be duly compensated if demolished.

No one is above the law. Let's learn to do the right thing and stop playing victim.

If Abuja fails, the capital should be moved to either calabar or kogi, at best run a decentralized capital like south Africa, we have had enough of Lagos
We were happy in Lagos when the capital moved to Abuja. We thought Lagos stress would ease off. Well, the city expanded more and is still growing.

Yoruba needs to be heading traditional stools n Kwara state.

An Oba should be installed in that state. A first step to reclaim what's rightfully Yoruba's.
There are Yoruba Obas in Kwara South which is predominantly Yoruba. Kwara North has Nupes hence the Etsu title.

Your moniker indicates an acceptance of your status. You need to affirm positive values consistently and pray for God's guidance and support to turn things around for good. Think in terms of the fulfillment of God's purpose for your life each time you want to go astray.

You know right from wrong. Learn to control your mind and you'll be free from the grip of evil thoughts which leads to terrible actions. Engage in sports, worship or creative activities that positively occupies your time. Focus on working towards your freedom and you'll surely succeed.

Wow! You appreciated and rewarded everyone except your sister who (besides God) is the reason you're in a position to help anyone. You should have bought her a good gift or give her money to support her in looking after your brother.

She probably decided to focus on her last responsibility...the Lawyer...and move on from there. She's a very selfless and caring lady. May God multiply her blessings.

Listen everyone! It’s not about the criminality, it’s about the culture and practice of the land. There’s are ways to things like this. The king maker will not just make a decision of dethroning him even if people wants him dethroned. So far he’s not dead yet they need to follow the policies either by contacting the Gods etc. culturally the people would still support their king and see no bad in all he has done. A king is always a king still. Thanks
In ages past, he would have been dethroned if he didn't make the choice of opening the calabash of death. The kingmakers are compromised.
