I don't know why people keep on misconstruing 'democracy' as 'monarchy'. Nevertheless, good luck to Kogi state!!!. |

The lady is simply immature to work. Every Organization has got their modus-operandi,so, if you can't cope, u leave. This is not about discrimination nor racism. Did she not do her research before going for the interview? Just an analogy- how many times have we seen male bankers with bushy hairs or on braids? To attract publicity she shamelessly exposes her ignorance and inadvertently blocking chances of future job opportunities. |
A Vietnamese-Australian man who has been banned repeatedly by Facebook because of his weird account name he uses, posts his passport to prove his real name. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-34897404 |
The link below shows a recent ranking of the most powerful people in the world. Barack Obama trails behind Putin because while Putin is unconcerned about public opinion and the impact of his actions, Obama treads with caution in the exercise of his power. http://www3.forbes.com/business/the-25-most-powerful-people-in-the-world/28/ |
I think we should give them benefit of doubt to perform. It may be rather preposterous to start talking about who to "resign or be fired" at this early stage. A lot is expected to be done by men and women of goodwill for this country to move forward. So we need to join hands together to achieve this onerous task. |
Jihadi John (ISIS) is not his real name. His real name is Mohammed Emwazi (born Muhammad Jassim Abdulkarim Olayan al-Dhafiri; Arabic: محمد جاسم عبد الكريم علينان الظفيري; 17 August 1988 – 12 November 2015). He was a British Arab man alleged to be the person seen in several videos produced by the Islamic extremist group ISIL showing the beheadings of a number of captives in 2014 and 2015. A group of his hostages nicknamed him "Jihadi John" since he was part of a four-person terrorist cell with British accents whom they called "The Beatles". On 12 November 2015, US officials reported that Emwazi had been hit by a drone strike in Al-Raqqah, Syria, and the following day, UK officials stated a "high degree of certainty" that Emwazi was killed. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jihadi_John). Those are part of the blackmail; bearing another name to perpetrate evil. Please, don't be consoled by any name whatsoever! madridguy: |
Some times i wonder what this generation is turning to be. Government is a continuum! If a governor did not complete a project because of time constraints, his successor should. In this 21st century, constructing a monorail should not amaze anyone. Come to Europe, I bet you will be subdued by the state-of-the-art infrastructure. Nigeria should move fast with rapid infrastructural development and industrialization as to earn a place in the comity of nations. HIGHESTPOPORI: |

A commander that was not equal to his command. |
What people fail to understand is the potency of 'Newton's relativity theory'. For the past 16 years, PDP held sway the governance of the country. They chose and confirm whosoever they like in whatsoever position even without recourse to the opposition's protests. Now APC holds the reins of power and PDP wants to dictate for them who to confirm and who not to. I don't fathom fully the rationale behind their stance nor support whether it is right or wrong for anyone to be appointed. However, 'he who comes to equity must come with clean hands'. Who among our legislators does not have one accusation or the other lingering on his or her neck?. If it is so then, they are not qualified to make any law. It baffles me that PDP senators find it delectable to pass a vote of confidence on Saraki who has is undergoing (corruption) trial at CCT but repugnant to pass the same 'vote of confirmation' on Amaechi. Indeed, what a two-edged sword. And what is their motivation? "Those whose palm-kernels have been broken by a benevolent spirit should not laugh at the misfortune of others"!. |
She has said it all. No clause can overstate those statements. In fact, time will come when students will start writing/researching "Amaechi" as a thesis. Most people lack the depth to fathom completely this phenomenon called 'Amaechi'! |
Let her go back to school. |
Putting round peg in square hole!. Does he know what it takes to maintain the three helicopters coupled with the no-maintenance attitude, sabotage and corruption that abound in Nigeria. Someone may want to even use this 'helicopter office' to build a mansion. Needless to say that the sophistication of armed robbery these days can lead to the helicopters being shot down. Please, what has happened to Nigerian satellite (SATCOM-1 or Satcom anything). When huge sums of money were being sunk into the project, it was reported that it would be deployed into surveillance and other allied uses. What is the use now? Tackling traffic rule and insecurity are good points to be undertaken by any responsible government but using helicopters are not the best. Helicopters are best used in emergency short-lived situations like evacuation in fire. Why not use satellite and relay the information to traffic Authorities for quick actions or to the Nigerian Airforce for intervention in Armed robbery cases. I don't want to forget the noise pollution associated with helicopters and the adverse destruction of building roofs when it flies at low altitude. |
Why wouldn't he sleep? He has finished what he came to this world for and now should be his resting time. Ironically, he wouldn't but stuck unto power, there by sleeping at session. At their age, these men have less to offer. Any country that want to move forward must make good use of its productive group. I marvel when I see those in charge of governance in advanced climes. Gerontocracy must be eschewed for Nigeria to move forward. |
I pray he recorvers fast. But he should take it easy with everyone and everything as to leave a mark in the sands of time in Nigerian football history. |
Why not go and join the military so that you will be 'turned-on' for life! |
This is fun taken too far. Until he injures his 'third leg', he will understand that he has used his own silly action to ruin his marriage. |
This post is old and outdated. The current position of things is that Amechi has been confirmed a minister of the Federal Republic. Update your post @op. |
When you see Saraki's acquisitions over a short period in government, you will only but have mercy on him. Greed/avariciousness has totally overcome his psyche. There is nothing good to mankind that will come out of him. |
Oliseh should watch it before he gives 'final burial' to the national team!. |

What of the other Nigerian 'yellow pawpaw' babymama he has?. The one that followed him to court the other time. He changes woman in per second billing rate! |

I don't know why in all the pictures of Bukola Saraki I have seen, his mien looks troubled. It seems as if he has got no peace. |
These days, with the influx of many social media platforms, proper journalism has been thrown to the dusts as people can comfortably type and post (/ copy and paste) anything they like to the satisfaction of their whims and caprices. Talk is cheap!. If one has such evidence, is it the Senate that one sends a petition or he goes to court to get justice?. People have forgotten that this is democracy as such anyone can lay any allegation against anybody just to defame or malign the person. If we go by "talk-talk", Buhari wouldn't have been Nigerian president today. There were severe media smears against his person and character prior to the elcetion time. It is very unfortunate, what Nigerian politics is turning into. However, I believe that at the end, truth will overshadow vindictiveness. |
Why come late? Every day and every time, excuses. Things must change. It is very unfortunate the attitude people deploy in their 'place of work'. There must be good etiquette and discipline in order to achieve success. Let's not forget that some people have this archaic and uncivilized mentality that to show that they are better than others or to display complex, they must come a bit late to a time-bound scheduled event. |
