Politics / Re: Even The Biafrans Have Risen Against You' Shekau Mocks Buhari, Army In New Video by Deltagiant: 10:19am On Sep 04, 2017
Buhari is still mired in the euphoria of the British led defeat of the Peoples Liberation Army of Biafra. Even though he wasnt amongst the achieving commanders during the British genocide.

The very unintelligent Abokish manner in which he handles Biafra today reflects his poor military tactics.

And that is where Obasanjo stands out as a true statesman, military commander and politician. He won't drag Nigeria to the present cliff hanger the daura dullar.d has put the people thinking its bravery.

Countries fail for several reasons. Age or size is no determinator. USSR, Yugoslavia, etc were all older and successfully bigger than Nigeria, but then, they all failed politically and disintegrated.

To let them {Arewa youths} be roaming free and even for the minister of interior {Dambazzau} to be making very lame and unintelligent excuses for them — what kind of country are you building? The boys never said they were misquoted. ~Yinka Odumakin

I have repeated this fact in other threads that there is something pathologically wrong with the intellect of an average Awusa Fulani. I am not surprised to read Yinka reiterating the same finding. Why the British polluted the rest of us with these people is what I can't decipher?

It is a shame that up till now, no one Hausa Fulani could forward an intellectually sound reason why Nigeria should not divide or why division was bad, or even what Biafrans have gained being a part of Nigeria and stand to lose if they exit from the union?

What Britain would lose or gain being a part of the European Union was well articulated in the print and electronic media for the world to see even as they chose to opt out. But the Awusa zoo keepers have nothing to leverage on, except the brute force of the cowardly buratai which the world is now keeping an eye on.

The Sani of a man likes to appear an intellectual where as he lacks the depth. Look at the bunkum he posted. The universe is by default for all mankind. On the other hand, nations are built through cultural coalescence. Then a political country is a man made, and for it to work, there must be mutual agreement. It cant be built through acts of coercion.

Col. Dangiwa Umar, stands out from this quota system crowd any day.

New world order. No hiding place for the cowardly tyrants. They will be decapitated while holding those guns.

Its gonna be a different type of war and its already happening; intellectual war that attracts new converts by the day. It is important to recall that the Igbo are not a tiny group. The world Igbo population is over 50 million. The IPOB have resilient members in 118 important countries, broadcating daily on FM and the very expensive Short wave.

Unbribable, Kanu has finally emerged the authentic leader and the revolutionary the people have sought for years.

You deserve the same answer and quote.

You people are hard learners, you don't think strategically or logically, even your thoughts are childish, irrational and naive and this is the reason you are always in this and that predicament.

biafra was a predicament

ipob is a predicament

Your new messiah is a predicament and a sad setback for you and your people.

....but of course, you people are hard learners and the fact that you don't have credible and capable leadership makes it double jeopardy.

Armless man and his group making a just and legal demand is a predicament? May I know which part of the cesspit you come from so that I may join yours in enjoying the fruits of their able leadership? No wonder Utomi said, "Nigerians are idiooots". Pity.

A show of support to an empire already dead from the new world order.

It is no longer the 1960s. The difference now is that Nigeria has a gun she cant shoot with. Existing in a world surrounded by satelite Tvs, internet phones and wildly travelled dissenting voices, and a population that is politically savvy.

There isn't much the UK can do for a land of tyranny that is a signatory to many international laws.

This is not about emotions, sentiments or some military man's worries, this is about the rule of law and national security.

Of what relevance is any country or society with you, me and every clown breaking laws left and right, trashing bail conditions, setting up militias, private police, and other ridiculous nonsense?

Is this the kind of lawlessness and rubbish you'd love to see in your so called biafra?

Be careful what you support and wish for.

Are you referring to me or the man who made the comments whom I'm sure is grounded in knowledge more than you?

If u had read him and comprehended well, you would have smelled his fears about Kanus of this world and history; how they ended up truncating tyrannical bondage called laws and stupid national security. Umar was a student of politics and military history who spent time in some of the best schools in the US.

The morbid fear you guys have for a man without arms has exposed a sort of cowardice that is unprecedented, and which Umar has subtly highlighted. Funny enough, all these are coming at a time you are faced with the atrocities of armed and uniformed groups ranging from herdsmen to Hisba and Boko haram etc..without them being a headache to you. The energy you people expend on this man signals only but one thing on you people: psychological defeat.

deomeelo:

SE leaders are useless, hopeless, senseless and pathetic, they lack good sense of judgment and strategic thinking.

They've made and have been making mistakes since independence and this is definitely the lousiest and the most dangerous.

SE remains rudderless in the wilderness.

A former Military Administrator of Kaduna State, Col Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, Rtd, has advised the Nigerian Government against the plan to re-arrest the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and other agitators behind him, saying, ”It will be a tragic mistake to treat them as common criminals.”

Umar gave the warning on Wednesday in a statement he signed and made available to DAILY POST.

The former governor buttressed his point by quoting Shiekh Usman Danfodio’s famous speech where he said that “One of the swiftest ways of destroying a kingdom is to give preference to one particular tribe over another, or to show favour to one group of people rather than another, and to draw near those who should be kept away and keep away those that should be drawn near.”

Umar further described the move to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu as dangerous and politically unwise, adding that the IPOB leader is not a common criminal and should not treated as such.

Umar, now Chairman, Movement for Unity & Progress, MUP, said, “Reports in the media indicate that the Federal government has asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to revoke the bail granted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and have him rearrested.

“This is both dangerous and politically unwise. Mazi Kanu is not a common criminal as the government appears to think. On the contrary, he is a bitter young man fighting for a fairer deal for his Igbo kinsmen
.

“His seeming militant approach is the result of the strong arm tactics with which the Federal Government deals with him. His long incarceration before a court granted him bail testifies to this.

“Like Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, many Igbos genuinely feel marginalized since they belong to the category of those who gave Mr President only 5% of their votes and appeared to have fallen out of his favour.

“President Buhari’s insistence that the unity of Nigeria is a settled issue is a nationalistic wish and is no surprise coming from a veteran of civil war fought to keep the country one.

“However, this does not take into account the mood of the nation as indicated by the growing agitations for self determination, restructuring and many other similar demands.

“If indeed the President is able to ignore and silence those agitators, it will be a case of suspended animation. All indications are that Nigeria has become so polarized that it requires a strong personality like General Buhari to sustain its fragile unity.

“Needless to say that this does not bode well for the survival of the nation.

“Most Nigerians are convinced of the need to maintain Nigeria’s unity, cognisant of the enormous benefits all sections drive from a large, diverse and resource rich country.

“The Federation also provides a security umbrella to all the federating units which enhance their survivability and prosperity.

“It is difficult to see how any of them can fare better out of the federation. But the fact that there are growing agitations for self determination, restructuring and other similar demands speak gravely of the way the federation is being governed.

“Nigeria’s unity can only be guaranteed when all its citizens feel they are getting a fair deal; when all its component parts are treated justly and equitably. When none feels oppressed.

“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Adeyanju and other similar agitators might seem like felons or even anarchists. But as often happens over humanity’s turbulent history, appearances can be deceitful.

“One man’s terrorist could well be another man’s freedom fighter. In any event, despite what the security agencies might feel, there is nothing to fear from Mazi Kanu.

“He and his compatriots are people who love their country dearly and are willing to take a risk with their lives while blowing a whistle on some of our bad habits.

” It will be a tragic mistake to treat them as common criminals. It is evident that they are fighting a cause millions consider entirely legitimate.

“Until our democracy learns to accommodate dissent, vigorous, robust, even if inconvenient, it will be incapable of serving our common good.”

Politics / Re: Ohanaeze Accuses FG Of Bias In Call For Kanu’s Re-arrest by Deltagiant: 4:20pm On Aug 26, 2017
Kanu has not commited any crime relative to Boko haram, Hisba and all the other uniformed groups roaming around.

What the despot wants to do is to drive home to Ndigbo the message that they dont have equal rights like others. This largely is the reason the idiaat want Kanu in prison.

What Ndigbo should equally do is to physically encircle Kanu in their thousands to send the message that his arrest is an insult on them. That was the way Obasanjo was humiliated when he sent SSS to arrest Ojukwu in 2003 or 2004.

Nnamdi Kanu should know Buhari cant do better than AK 47. Even at that, he and his have been defeated psychologically with the triumph of the human spirit as exemplified by the youths of the Eastern region.

I have told Ojukwu's son to stay away from this debate because he is not relevant. Eastern Nigerians ordered his father at Enugu to prosecute the civil war. Just as they have now asked Nnamdi Kanu to lead them in the quest for referendum. The millions of people flocking to Kanu's evangelism is a testament to this clear MANDATE.

Even if Ojukwu had unwritten agreement with Buhari, what does that has to do with 40 million Igbos who wants a referendum today?

Ojukwu was just one man, one opinion. The former Eastern region asked him to lead them in war then, just like they have supported Nnamdi Kanu to lead them in their quest for referendum today.

Ojukwu has come and played his own role following his own level of common sense and intellect and gone, and the people appreciated and still appreciates his contribution immensely.

That said, it is inappropriate to invoke his personality in the scheme of things as it is today. We are living in a different political climate today with different challenges that are not present during Ojukwu's time. In this wise, different instruments of solution are being applied.

One common thing with claptraps like you is their penchant to descend to name calling in a bid to compensate for ignorance.

In 1995 the whole world saw what went on b/w Eze Nri and Shedrack with regard to the legitimacy of Ojukwu's title . Go to the archives and read Ojukwu's interview by TELL Magazine of June 95 edition. Teachable moment.

After the demise of Zik, there was a tussle of who would lead the Igbo. Alex Ekwueme had the clandestine support of Onyeso. Ikemba finished it off by moving to the Adamas led by Chief Mbanefo. He was conferred with Ezeigbo. And he insisted that Adamas remains king makers of Nri, therefore his title was in order. Ardent readers of current affairs in Nigeria and students of politics and history knows this fact of history. I am sorry for you. Learn from your superiors, I am one of them.

This is more of a supremacy tussle b/w Eze Nri and Adama Nri who gave Kanu the spectre than with Kanu.

Whatever said, Adama Nri is the king maker. So, there is legitimacy in whatever he gave Kanu. Afterall, the late Ikemba Ojukwu received the Ezeigbo title from the same Adama Nri and not Eze Nri. Twist of fate that Ojukwu himself went through the same brouhaha. Same Shedrack Mbanefo conferred him with Gburugburu and it stood.:-D

Leaders are not appointed. They EMERGE and lead with their influence and charisma, not by coercion.

This is what Nigerian government is seeing which has made them powerless even with the guns they bought with the resources of Eastern region.

Op, really? Universal suffrage being an inalienable right, was also optional. IPOB is not asking the people not to exercise this right by any act of coercion and wouldnt do that on that day, I believe.

The IPOB has developed a mind-melting system of getting the people on their side through incisive explanatory strategy.

The overarching objective in the coming Anambra election is the same with other succesful show of strength the group has been exhibiting; to attract positive notoriety in Nigeria and the global community.

Therefore, even if they record 70 percent compliance, they would have made a successful statement...who ever positions himself and declares himself winner, would be illegimate. On the other hand, if Nigeria imposes an unelected person on the people, it would fuel IPOB's negative campaign against the Nigerian structure in global court of public opinion.

Political fanaticism and fierce loyalty is part of the strategy to keep the spirit of emancipation alive.

The struggle for self determination is always a long and winding road. So Kanu knows he had to create an image like this before the millions of his people to keep the momentum alive. He's successfully done it.
