Am really surprised dat d inherent disdain for Biafra has really blinded most commentators above me from realising dat citizen Kalu is d winner from today's court ruling. May be u guys need to read again. On one hand citizen Kalu has upped the ante by getting d services of a SAN who intelligently pushed dat he be remanded in d prisons and his request was granted against dat of d state who wished for his continued incarceration in d hands of d DSS. Being in prison custody will now grant citizen Kalu and his legal team a better platform to interface and he is now freer to be in tune with happenings in d outside world. D true situation is dat dia was one winner in d court today and he is Mr Kalu cos no one expected him to be freed today but being out of d Dss is a great reprieve. Only God knows how d state prosecutors wud v been disappointed.
You had all that time to dissect the development to a bunch of idiats.
Just read and move on cos the recognition for Kanu's cause continues to break new frontiers where it actually matters.
There is a structure in place and Kanu's incarceration has nothing to do with the success or otherwise of the goal they set to achieve.

I am educated, too well if I am allowed to blow my own trumpet. I only need to tell u my real name and ask you to Google my name for you to see how far my academic achievemnts span but I won´t be doing that because this sort of anonymous Forum gives security and helps one avoid being bothered in the real life.

Now enough about me.

You are right to say "no right thinking person would want to remain forever under preponderance of the miscreants" but where I dont agree with you is the name calling. It make me wonder at your education and your personality?
Also let me correct your misnomer about intellectual superiority. I heard some of Nnamdi kalu´s prodcasts and to tell you the trust he was spewing rubbish. The two hours he spoke he was just ranting madness and hate. My brother in case you don´t know Biafra is not about hate, irrespective of how the igbos/Niger deltans have been maginalized. Biafra is about making things better for the General eastern masses, for all the Group that make up the east not just the Igbos.

Now if all that rubbish Nnamdi Kalu spewed that day makes him more intellectually superior than me then ma brother you are dreaming in 5 Dimension and I will urge you to wake up, be a man and stop believing any rubbish told you.

You make the mistake to say and think age makes one wise. Please go read and learn the book of Job. It will teach you otherwise. Read from Job chapter 32-37.
My brother, Igorance may be a disease but blindness and myopism are worse than ignorance...

My brother, you don't need all that self validation in your first paragraph. Simple remarks explains one's depth.
Thanks.

It was a humble opinion not judgement but be it as it may that´s just the point ma sister. Most of us hope the best comes out of it but any right thinking educated Person will shudder at the thought of having to be under the mercy of miscrants like IPOD and MASSOB. Imagine a world where IPOD or MASSOB becomes ur SSS and DSS, Police and Military? My sister if u dont have goose pimple and nightmare about such a Thing, then let me openly tell u that I do.
Igbos we should really be careful what we wish for and if we have the mind to wish for better then we have to make sure that People like those I have mentioned never come out for a political post nor are their stooges elected.
The Problem there is that it helps nothing to just talk or hope the best should happen but to fight for that best.

I don't know how educated you are, but no right thinking educated person would like to live forever under the preponderance of the miscreants called the Hausa Fulani. The people heading the IPOB are much more intellectually your superiors. You'll even be happy to have anyone of them as mentor. Most of them are twice the age of Ojukwu when he Ojukwu made decisions superintending Biafra.

The agitation takes a new height each day. I don't know why Nigeria is taking the issue of a very major tribe with a pinch of salt.

There is a new world order that Nigeria apparently is yet to understand. Here we are talking about a population of over 40 million people with a clear and distinct geographyical delineation, culture and language and someone thinks we are still in the 1960s dark ages.

Yesterday, i mentioned a few northern leaders that have seen the hand writing on the wall and pointing to it, and others not taking note.

The image reminds me of Biafra...That's what we are saying. We are all humanity.

Who will ever imagine this type of picture would ever emerge from the federal side that used hunger and starvation of innocent women and children to prosecute a war? They never felt for us but i feel for them. I'm really heart-broken. Look at that innocent child...God.

That Biafra has 'silent supporters' is to state the obvious. If anything happens that a referendum or Biafra was declared, the whole world will be shocked as to the level of the suppressed dreams of the people of Nigeria.

For the Igala and Idoma...just forget it, they're in the Biafra column already.

Even the new King of Igalaland, Dr. Michael Idakwo stated clearly in 2013 that Igalaland belonged to the old Onitsha province and he's looking forward to a day they'll return home. Imagine that.

Biafra agitation has a lot of hidden surprises to those who understands history and ethnography.

All you could have said is that you don't have access to any pictures in instead of making it seem like I'm doubting the landing of a dreamliner in Enugu. Everything mustn't be fight.

Afam, I didn't fight you and haven't done such before. When you believe someone is knowledgeable, you'd react the way i did.

There was an authentic, graphical live tracking of the Dreamliner to Enugu and yet you asked of pictures.

This gave me the impression you were in doubt. I wouldn't know why you wanted the pictures of the aircraft when they are easily available on the web.

Politics / Re: Biafra Protest "Completely Legitimate" - Nigerian Government by Deltagiant: 5:41pm On Dec 06, 2015
A few wise men in the North have seen the signs long ago and have voiced their concern on the need to respect the Igbo majority status.
Some of them are Mustapha Jokolo, Ghali Umar N'Abba, Balarabe Musa and surprisingly of late was former governor of Zamfara state etc.
Even at the national conference, some of these men from the North expressed worry why the Igbo should be given the least number of states in Nigeria. These are people that have the love of the country at heart.

Anyone of the three majority groups in Nigeria that undertakes the role of a dissenting voice always shakes the polity to its foundation. We saw it when Yorubas went angry about Abiola. Worse still is the fact that Biafra was formerly a short lived country recognized by some nations. Thus, re awakening it now, in this modern age, is what Nigeria should never want because the world order has changed.

I believe the damage control process has begun.

Nothing serious, it's even furthering the popularity of the struggle. In 1967, Leopold Senghor the then Senegalese president morally supported Biafra. His Muslim majority parliament sat on the fence and later threw their weight on the Nigerian side. So, it is expected that a majority Muslim country will be averse to a Christian majority Biafra

What 'image' is more than the 'Activity log' of Flightaware.com provided for you, and which tracks aircrafts movements around the globe?

I guess Ndigbo bribed the observation center of Flightaware.com in Houston, Texas to falsely track a non existent Dreamliner to Enugu.

Even an observer could see the sense of ownership of Nigeria in these people. What do they mean by 'criminal agitation for Biafra'?

As far as the law is concerned, It's obvious these miscreants do not know their left hand from their right.

You must mean 787 Dreamliner, there is no 788 by Boeing. Hope the airport can handle XWB aircraft though. It is a beautiful plane anyhows.

I am right with the description. It is 787-8.

The 8 signifies the base model and thus often referred to as 788.

Other variant models exists such as the 787-9 also called 789.

Enugu can handle it; it's already landed successfully. Making the city one of the few airports in the world that has received the Dreamliner.
The AIIA is a promising airport. It's left for Ndigbo, their businness and political leaders to make it a global aviation hub.

Your so called Nigerian army that never wins any war without international support? Your so called Army that needed Britain, Russia,Egypt and the Arab league to make any headway against Biafrans after 3 years? The same Nigerian Army that could not defeat Niger-Delta militants and even gave them amnesty? The same Nigerian army that has been battling the Boko haram to no avail for 5 years and needs the help of Chad and Cameroon? The same Nigerian army that over 100 of them were slaughtered last week?

Your Nigerian army is a joke. The only time you see their bravado is against unarmed civilians

Wow! They are adding another dimension to the whole struggle. Before now it was "oh the kids did not experience the war".
But the dynamics is now fast changing.

A time was when a mere mention of Biafra would guarantee you an arrest let alone being in possession of the flag.
But today, the Nigeria government would even be happy and celebrate if it only entailed having the Biafran flag in your possession.

Your guess is as good as mine what would be tolerable one, two years today

Abagworo, the agitation for Biafra preceded Buhari's adminstration.

Radio Biafra preceded Buhari's adminstration.

IPOB's protests and agitation for Biafra have largely been peaceful

No one is using Ndigbo, the people have rather woken up to the realities facing them in Nigeria. And there's no better way of showing their gievances than the course of action they've chosen. So, please let them be. While they want to pursue their livelihood, their dignity is equally important to them.
