Well look at it the way,

The coastal areas belongs to the SS, why the river is shared between the SE and SS.

If those two regions are different countries.

The SE will have a treaty with the SS to use the Sea.

Because there will be defined boarders for each country.

The simple answer to your question is "NONE" BUT you need to understand first of all, that South-East only make up 3/5 of Igbo land. The rest were merged into the south-south during state creation after the Civil War.
There are indigenous Igbos on Delta, Rivers, Akwa ibom, Cross river, Benue, and Edo.

The point I am trying to make is that Even If south east Igbos are the only ones to break away from Nigeria, they will still have access to the sea even if the river goes through a Non-South-east territory. The reason is because If a body of water is shared between two nations, that river is an International water. Blocking that river is an Act of war according to the United Nations.

Anyway, the purpose of the research was to disprove the White superior IQ propaganda. It will be sad if we start using this report to propagate exactly what the research was trying to disprove, which is to disprove the propaganda that any race of human have superior IQ over the other based on superior genetic make up.

In my opinion, groups driven by desire for success, will always score higher than groups lacking such desire. It doesn't in anyway make the group scoring higher better than the relatively low scoring groups, it simply means that the low scoring groups are simply under utilizing their potentials because they lack the desire to be successful/ outstanding.

So in my opinion, this thread is not a proof of Igbo superior intellect over other groups, as there is nothing like such.
Rather it's a proof of the ambitions nature of the Igbo society, which places a high regard and recognition for success, so much that it places members of this Igbo society under immense pressure to succeed, this pressure when channelled towards good ventures makes us outstanding, but when channelled towards evil ventures..., fills Malaysia and Indonesia prisons with Igbo youths.

There is no need stating the fact that the Niger delta region is the goose that lays the golden eggs which feeds Nigeria. There's also no need stating the obvious that the Niger delta lags way behind developmentally when compared to other regions or like their fellow oil producing peers in other parts of the world.
It is a sad fact that most of our political office holders and appointees (governors, commissioners, NDDC board/chairmen, Niger delta ministers & officials, Amnesty office etc) failed the region especially during an era of unprecedented oil boom and this is evidenced by the almost complete lack of basic infrastructure for citizens.
Our political leaders have clearly failed us but by our tenacious nature, we do not cry over spilt milk.
So I ask, what then is the next step ? Where do we go from here ?

I am from Isele-Ukwu in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.

We speak igbo but a different version of the one spoken in the South East.

My Grand Father have always told me the history of how we came to reside across the River Niger.

Sir/ma, please read the post again and again. You will find out the point the post is making. It is not about the achievement of individuals. The delta man or woman is unique.
...point of correction, a man or woman in delta who speaks ibo and bear igbos name will never accept being called an ibo person. There is a thick difference between the both side of the Niger river. If you are not from that region, please find out. Go to Asaba for instance and see how an Asaba or Ibusa person will address an Igbo man from Onitsha.
