PoliticsRe: VP Sambo Held Hostage In Kano by Deltagiant: 11:07pm On Mar 09, 2015
This is a serious security breach of which the AIG and VP's security details should be sanctioned or relieved of their duties immediately. In the first place, how did the political thugs/miscreants gain access to the VP of all people....In a hotspot as Kano? Unbelievable.

Please remove that rabid hater called Kwankwaso, unless you mean that he'd be good as president of an AREWA COUNTRY.

PoliticsRe: President Jonathan And Yoruba Oba's, Blessing Or Curse? (photo) by Deltagiant: 11:48am On Mar 09, 2015
As a non Yoruba, it is difficult to figure the import of pointing wooden staff to someone in an occassion like this. But i have the impression that the rites were proper as there were elderly Yorubas in GEJ's delegation that would have resisted any thing contrary to the norms. No cause for alarm!

Tinubu's politics of AGBEROISM at work!

Femi, even the Igbo in the most remotest part of Igboland is more informed about GEJ than you.
PoliticsRe: North Wrongly Places Hope On Tinubu – Okupe by Deltagiant:
Many things to ponder about....

To a large extent, i agree with Dr. Doyin. If Buhari should ever win the election, the odds will be stacked against the Northerners, just as they were months leading to Yaradua's demise. It is a situation no right thinking Northerner would ever like to be in after Yaradua's experience. Honestly, the situation does warrant a bit strategic thinking. Because this would have them again on a colllision course with the Yoruba nation, over succession ( like during Abacha's tenure) either midway or after the first tenure of Buhari.

Tinubu, on the one hand, is not an Awololwo. The Awo clout and aura are largely missing in his personality with the likes of Gen. Adebayo, Akinjide etc. not signing up to his vision. This surely indicates that the Yoruba Nation have not taken a mono stand on this election. It is also in the interest of some far-sighted Yorubas to treat the minority Ijaw fairly in this life-time chance they had to occupy the presidency even as GEJ resolves the issues they complained about in his second term.

Intersting times....

you like?
Mikel, I like, yes.
But if are showing this girl with the mentality that you have a white girl friend, then I will tell you you're behind the times. For Nigerians in Europe, white girls are just "waka pass", a means to an end, no big deal. But if you are showing this girl as you would show any black girl of yours, then no wahala.

What a beautiful compilation and great similarity. Yoruba and Igbo might have separated from very close origin or similar origin somewhere in... Hope someone can shed more light
You're certainly right. But for territorial and political reasons, neither the Yoruba nor the Igbo would want to embrace this undeniable kinship because Nigeria is a KILLER! The historian, Dr. Famakinwa wrote a lot about this, sadly.
PoliticsRe: Please Dont Travel For Easter, Jimi Agbaje Begs Ndigbo by Deltagiant:
@Cleverly, the Igbo ain't going any where this time around. Jimi is very popular with his yoruba kit and kin. The Igbo are interested in him, and are keen in this election to express their frustrations about the wicked financial punishment being meted on them by Africa's biggest landlord and his "son", Babatunde.

"EVEN IF PDP SHOW VIDEOS OF TINUBU/BUHARI ROBBING THE CBN, IT WON'T CHANGE OUR MINDS"

With this type of inappropriate "figure of speech" where and who are the role models in this country?...Superficially, this type of statement resonates well with the spirit of robbery as well.

Now, this is it....one of the likely consequences.

Pathetic!

Did you just call Morrocco a small time player? Really!? Where the hell did you hear that from? Oga abeg re-search your research.
P.S If they were small time players, why did the big time president contact them?
Give me instances of their big time playing in African Affairs? Let's start from there first
Foreign AffairsRe: Morocco Rejects Phone Conversation Between Mohammed VI And Goodluck Jonathan by Deltagiant: 2:10pm On Mar 07, 2015
ROSSIKE:
Go on Google and type "blacks in Morroco". You will be horrified at the level of crude racism and discrimination against black people there. And the victims have no recourse to any law there apart from appeals to the king, with his highness too busy rapi.ng 8 year old virgins to give a hoot.
Do the gullibles know? Even on a personal level, a Morrocan is a friend you'll swear you never had in your life!
Foreign AffairsRe: Morocco Rejects Phone Conversation Between Mohammed VI And Goodluck Jonathan by Deltagiant:
The Morrocans were simply silly to play the inconsequential religious card. As far as Africa's politics is concerned, Morrocco is a marginal player. Harlot of a country that voluntarily left OAU/AU forcing herself to be admitted into European Union with no success.

To hell with small time players!
CultureRe: When Black Men Ruled Europe: The Moors Of Spain by Deltagiant: 12:54pm On Mar 07, 2015
Of course, i would have wished the Moorish history was a negroid one as we all wants to associate with greatness. Moors were not negroid even though their blood line has been passed down over generations through the Sahelian peoples of sub saharan Africa.
PoliticsRe: Lagbaja Singing Against Buhari Then, What Happened by Deltagiant: 12:03am On Mar 07, 2015
Of course Nigeria is a pathetic story. It takes being some kind of a rural champion to be the Alpha Omega. Background checks are the least on the minds of the gullible followers.

Cheers
Good you admitted it was a fair point....In a country the politicians have made the hungry public see politics as a means to an end? You can't be serious!

The fact that this is getting attention (front page on nairaland) is a testament to how much the lack of education has affected us!

EXAGGERATION FOLKS!! Figures of Speech. We learnt this in basic English classes.

**Even if the world ends today, I will get married.

*Even if there is an Earthquake I will go to the bank.

**Even if I die today, I will wake up and VOTE FOR BUHARI

Figures of speech! used to emphasise a position. In this case, used to emphasise that NOTHING can STOP the CHANGE MOVEMENT!!

Must we arrange English classes for you guys? Lol!!
Quite dangerous and inappropriate figures of speech in a country known for her politicians' financial impunity. Horrible!

Even if Buhari asked for his resignation then, how did that cancel out the fact that Jega brazenly compromised his office, disenfranchised 23 million people and insisted that elections must hold? How did that cancel out the request for his resignation?

step Ken Sarowiwa took against the Igbos.
I know the only way Nigeria can move forward
is to embrace the Igbos.

but one thing I will advice the Igbos is
just to be humble.

Team Jonathan
Ndigbo are one of the most humble groups in Nigeria. What some see as arrogance were reactionary measures born out of the humiliation we've been suffering since the end of the war from those who takes pride in seeing us down. You just have to find a way to let your detractor know he's not getting at you afterall.

Our (Ndigbo) thoughts are also with our fellow brothers in the old eastern region in particular and Nigerians in general. This is a new generation and we have to work together for our common good. Win or lose, never again shall we allow fifth columnists parading as "saviours" to make us hate ourselves. It shall be well. May Ken's soul rest in peace.

What of Defence Industries Corporation DICON Kaduna?
The move is still within the confines of international best practices. The FABRIQUE NATIONAL OF EUROPE has been producing certain weaponry for the US Pentagon since 1948 despite America's famed weapon manufacturing. And here we are talking about an indigenous company for that matter.

I am a core Akwa Ibomite, but i cannever disrespect or part ways with Igbos, doing that is parting way with creativity and Ingenuity especially in Science & Technology, and Trade & Investment.
I came to respect Igbos in that regard, when i visited Nigerian War Museum Umuhia.
I saw the reason why Nigeria hasn't yet find its feet in the world of science and technology and economy driven by trade and investment like China.its because of years of neglate of Igbos, and the should i say 'shyness' and inability of Nigerian government to tap from Biafran war science/technological exploit.
Shame upon our leaders who failed to reintegrate Igbos into our mainstream economy, and harness their potential earlier than enough.

JONATHAN,YOU ARE INDEED GOD SENT.

Ami nte,Abasi Sosong!.
Ndigbo can never disrepect or part ways with Ibibio/Efik/Annang. We have all been in the same geographical space for thousands of years before Nigeria of 100 years ago. Our bond has equally been strenghtened by the hybrid town of Arochukwu even as the memory of Major General Obong Phillip Effiong, Col. Akpet, Okoko Ndem etc. will forever be the symbol of our struggle and eternal bond. God is so great that our physical boundaries are contiguous as this will foster more prosperity between the peoples as we look forward to your government to realize the Ibom Deep Seaport of our dreams.

It is a season of good news even as our close neighbor, the Ijaws, made a soothing statement about the roles they played in the civil war. I have always wanted a politically united, independent states of old Eastern Nigeria including my Anioma. And God is seeing us through as the new generation chart their political and economic path.
PoliticsRe: Presidential Committee On Defence Visits Innoson For Local Weapons Production by Deltagiant:
INNOSON is a good way for the Federal government to outsource some of her defence equipment needs. INNOSON is indigeneously owned and a better way to protect designs the FG might want classified -customized equipments. The national war museum at Umuahia should be an eye opener for Nigeria - difficult to believe those beastly equipments were built under duress and in the most severe auster conditions.

What is that fighting vehicle built in China or Korea that cannot be replicated even in a more rugged method at Nnewi? It's time to look to the east and tap on the potentials!
