Medley:Don't worry, he's going. Everyone will defintely have the opportunity to vote. Those whom their PVCs are being intentionally withheld will at the end of the day vote with their TVCs. There is a commander in chief whose powers falls within the armbit of the law to fire the compromised JEGA. Wait and see. We're now in the crunch time. |
SkyBlue1:What thoughts? I guess you don't mean a man who earns well enough to be able to put up a ONE bedroom comfortable home for his father but rather will leave him in squalor. You can't be seroius! Such a man can only offer you a miserable "change" like what you're seeing in the picture. |
I can't put this story past Osinbajo as it is the practice of most Yorubas overseas and in cities in Nigeria. They don't have this cultural obligation like the Igbos to build in the ancestral villages. It is a serious oversight they should correct. The old man is just a replica of his son or nephew. There is no denying. Culture contrast and CLASS at play! Unbelievable |

WisdomFlakes:I can feel you're a very insecure and paranoid soul. Listen, the discussion is about the impact or lack of it any demography be it Hausa , Igbo, Tiv etc. has on Lagos state. But the stupi.dity you've continued to display with your empty comments is baffling. The facts are so irreversible in Lagos that low-lifers like you will never be able to change it. And for your information, each day that passes with the structure of Nigeria remaining the way it is, brings people like you closer to your suicide. That is why the wise men amongst your tribe have risen up to say that the change they want is not personality but IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RESOLUTION OF THE CONFAB. A well thought out strategic position empty shells like you will never understand why they took. |
WisdomFlakes:My friend, it is about residential statistics and not aboriginal matter. |
Not so fast on SOUTH WEST, my friends. smlafolabi:Nothing has changed in this election comparing with 2011. Buhari will win his strong holds as usual and that is the end. |

NDPVF:Tell me something! How about thaaaat! ![]() |
The president looks physically trimmed, in command and ready for action. The message is clear, there is no vacancy in Aso Rock. Not now! This is a war time president; no change of leadership in a state of war. |
OBJ and his notice-me syndrome. Human life and influence is like a product life cycle but Obasanjo has refused to acknowledge the fact. Now, tell me what the hell he's doing with this blood sucker and war criminal order than strengthening his loyalty to the feudalistic Nigerian caliphate. Expired era. Nonsense! |
@OP, Because you heard a soldier say "vote for someone who'll secure you", then you automatically assumed he was asking you to vote for your preferred candidate, Mallam Buhari? The next thing was blabbing about your fantasies within the military. Then, from no where followed by the word "Ibo"; which has become a nightmare to failures and low-lifers like you. Is it only the Igbo votes Jonathan needs in order to win? It is only pitiful souls like you would imagine that a coupist, sadist, Jihadist, tyrant and bloody religious bigot like Buhari will save you. Confused soul. What an irony of "change"! |
How come the lady is from the tribe (IGBO) they say love money more than anything else? Lesson 101 on the dangers and stu.pidity of stereotyping. |

darlenese:So much hunger in the land....Every part of it is Christmas ![]() |
Rapidx:It is still profitable but may be it'll take sometime to have the return on investment. |
The anti Jonathan Idi.aats and their cognitive bias would shy away from the fact that this building is as old or even older than Nigeria's independence, and has witnessed 40 years of uninterupted Northern rule including Buhari's administration. |

Again, I remember when the American Mitt Romney thought he'd got it and began doing what Buhari is now doing - being presumptious of the out come of an election that was yet to hold. The incumbent Obama not only won but beat him with a historical landslide. Buhari, please return to Nigeria and get busy with the election - stop being presumptious. We've got one president for now and he is Goodluck Jonathan. |

Adegbodolu1:So by simply refusing to jump the queue, Buhari has met ALL your requirements to re-preside over the affairs of Nigeria and her diverse people and interests? It simply shows how shallow and stupid your thoughts are. Of course many Igbos as well as other right thinking Nigerians are "bitter" over the damage Buhari and his types cumulatively did to Nigeria in the past 45 years. Nonsense! |

Nwa Mazi Okoli golibe, it's your time. |
favouryemmy:Even though Lagos residents are much more busier than their mostly jobless and non enterprising Kano state counterparts, yet they recorded more registered voters. It says a lot about census in Nigeria. Believe it and you'll believe anything. |
Seun, even though your mum lived a life like this, you shouldn't have glorified it by showing a picture of her with indian hemp. It should have been painful to you seeing your mum looking this, like a.... Just wondering if you'd want your child to see his/her mum one day in that form. Most successful stars the world over have moved on and away from this mentality. Not cool. |
lisimmo:The bottom line in this election most people are yet to realize is that nothing has changed for Buhari compared to 2011 preparation. The 2011 presidential electoral map result was an eye opener. However, Buhari in 2015 no doubt will retain all the states he won in 2011. GEJ won 2.8 million votes in the south west to give Buhari a resounding defeat with over 10 million votes. Let's assume for a second the south west voted 100 percent for Buhari in 2011 with such statistics, GEJ would have still won with over 7million votes. Fast forward today. People seldom remember what would count on election day is the "actual voters". Not all the holders of PVCs will vote on election day and many things will come into play on that day. At the moment, the five South west states outside Lagos state have a PVC collection of 4.9 million. Then the highly ethnically segmented Lagos has 3.6 million. How these votes will be shared amongst GEJ and Jonathan is anyone's guess. Therefore, being presumptious or relying on the social media sentiments at this moment is not helpful. As things stands today, any ethnic group can be relevant or irrelevant. Nigeria seems to be moving to a minority-majority country. |
bigfrancis21:Well, i know quite well that the great civilization of Egypt was said to have begun with the unification of upper and lower Egypt by NAMER. His statue bears the physical attributes of a negroid heritage. On the other hand, It is impossible to rule out the Hebrews as part of the pyramid puzzle as no one could say for sure how the ancient Jews looked like. Napoleon's mission to Egypt and how he commanded his army to disfigure the face of the Sphinx for lookig too negroid is still a recent history. Since the negroid-looking OLMEC busts were discovered in Mexico, the white conservative establishment have finally begun to accept the possibility that blacks might have been responsible for the construction of the pyramids and even exported the tech. to the Americas. And that they were actually great seafarers. The Atlantis hypothesis in Egyptian pyramids is weak. |
himkers:Even at that, the Igalas have a new king by name MICHAEL AMEH OBONI (Jerusalem Pilgrim) |
M4gunners:But what sort of values do these Chiefs add to citizens' lives so i can start to appreciate the need for them? The last time i checked, the current Obi of Agbor's father was killed as an armed robber ![]() |
